The room was ice cold and all the electrical was unplugged. Then it took about half-hour to begin to take the chill out of the room. I called for a wake-up call. First no answer, on second call they told me to come to the office for a clock. The 40 year old Timex clock never did go off. Luckily I had my cell phone set as a backup alarm. I hoped the room had a table or desk, but no such luck. Just a night stand with TV on top of it. The pillow smelled bad, like bodily fluids. It was noisy all night with the heater running continuously because it has no thermostat. (just off, low or high). In the morning, the shower did not work. I had to dissasemble the shower head and clean the screen to get the water to flow. Besides the bad room and service, I was a little annoyed by their bad ethics. I called ahead and got a rate of $42 which I confirmed when I arrived. Then he said I had to pay cash because his credit card machine was broken. He kept an extra $8 of my change. When asked, he said it was "the tax". I asked for a receipt and he said I needed to get it the next morning after turning in my key. I felt stuck because they have a "no refunds" sign posted. Also it was late and I was tired. The next day when I asked for receipt, she gave me back my guest registration card with a $50 rate written on it. No receipt, no tax, just $8 more for the room rate. I am sure they are not paying the tax but if they were it would have been half the amount they kept. I checked out and moved to a nearby Motel 6 the next night for about the same money. Compared to that dump the Motel 6 feels like a five star hotel. Do yourself a favor and skip this place to begin with.

Bob is pleasant with a remarkable smile. My room was cozy. He watches the parking lot tentatively so I felt very safe. I appreciate the quiet experience as well, as there was very minimal visitors with other tenants. He managed all aspects very well.

Cigarette burns cover the bed spreds, table & carpet. (And they say it's non smoking room) dirty walls, doors, phone on a chair. Even the wrapped toilet paper had a cigarette burn on it. Very poor remodeling. Cracked window seal. For the price. Come on, do better. Freshtimes pantiliners found under the pillow 😂. Cobwebs, TV doesn't work, dust a year plus deep and just overall. Would not recommend. I stayed, so you don't have too.

I've stayed at Budget Lodge a few times in the last few months. Rooms are oddly shaped and poorly arranged. Bathrooms are poorly maintained with very small shower stalls, which are rusty and often malfunction. There is rarely toilet paper provided. In smoking rooms, there are no ash trays. Depending on the room, you may have to unplug the refrigerator to plug in the microwave. A $25 deposit is charged and the staff will only return it if you meet with them to inspect the room as you check out. My time there has only been in the winter, so I cannot speak to the quality of the air conditioning, but the heating in rooms is subpar. All of this at the price of a much nicer motel, of which there are many nearby.

The owner has a Craigslist ad up advertising 350 for 5 days but when you call he says "NO is 650 for 5 days" so he's a real shyster. No way in hell I'm paying 650 for 5 days in roach motel. I'm staying in a marginally better place for 375 for 5 days. At least this place has a price that realistically matches up with what your getting, and no roaches!

Terrible. Absolutely Terrible. First of all, the room me and family was staying in had a broken bed. 2) The shower was way to small. 3) they had bugs in the fridge and in the bathroom. 4) The manager was really rude, they told me and my sister to not drag the towels in the parking lot... we had them balled up in our hands.. 5) they came knocking on our door for 15 minutes then they proceeded TO OPEN OUR DOOR... me and my sister were sleeping and our mom wasnt there... 6) they kept yelling at us that we needed to check out. PLEASE DONT STAY HERE!

The management there is very friendly and care about your needs. The rooms are very nice and some rooms have hot tubs. I've had a great experience every time I stayed there. They treat us like family.

Garbage at doorstep. The smoke detector was wrapped in plastic. Smelt like ciggs. Over priced for how gross the place is. Looks like the interior hasn't been painted for 30 years. All bad.

Looked at rooms that needed worked on . Only saw 6 rooms that needed work. 3 we're being lived in 2 of those were a mess and one pretty decent other than leaking under kitchen sink due to improper plumbing.

The people in the office treat you like family. They're very sweet and accommodating. Beds are pillow top and super comfy. Most peaceful property! Love the cottage vibe. Has WiFi for free, 7 eleven nextdoor and bus stop 12 too. Could not ask for more. We love it here
