Just left the Portland tourist park. We were not told by the manager Anne upon booking that there was current excavation and road works taking place. It was a mud bath. The manager Anne has zero customer service skills and was extremely rude to say the least . I would definitely not recommend a stay at the Portland tourist park. There are much nicer parks in and around Portland. With managers with nice customer service skills. One star rating deserved.

This park is a construction site. It is not safe to have children here. We were woken prior to 8am by road machinery and chainsaws. A grader drove right up parallel to our van to turn around. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked out my window. No bunting or barrier mesh anywhere. This area should not be in use whilst the redevelopment is taking place.

We had a great stay. Cabin was spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Staff was friendly. Kids play area & Inflatable bouncer was the winner on our stay. Close to all the amenities. Out door barbeque area just a suggestion. Will definitely stay if we ever come back to Portland , Thank you.

Had a powered, ensuite site for our RV. Park is very clean, tidy and quiet ( in Feb out of school hols), has a laundry ( only coins), clean camp kitchen etc. Nowhere on site or walkable for groceries, coffee etc which was a downside as we arrived late arvo. Pets welcome.

Nice place except for the screeching cockies at 9 pm and 6.30am everyday. The park had all the usual amenities camp kitchen, playground, jumpy balloon, clean toilets, and a huge book swap library. I would visit again....with ear plugs ha ha

Poor customer service. Very rude to customers on numerous occasions. Sliding doors came of tracks alot. No recycle services available or visiable. We dont expect alot. Not value for money in our opinion.

My wife and I and two dogs had a wonderful time at the PortlandTourist Park, the staff there, especially Kathy were wonderful, professional and very friendly. Would recommend the park for anyone wanting to stay in Portland. Our two cocker spaniels loved the dog run at the park. The ensuites were the best we have ever experienced. Thanks to the team there.

Pleasant check-in experience, we stayed for one night on an unpowered camping pitch. Check out time was 10am. Camping pitches were not marked out but we were the only camping pitch that evening so we were told to just take whatever space we needed. Overall the park was very quiet when we stayed, which was lovely! WiFi was decent but I think there being a limited number of people onsite helped with the speed. WiFi password was communicated via text but we didn't receive it as using an international number but could get code easily enough from reception. Camp kitchen was clean, spacious and had indoor sofas and seating if you were cold. Bathrooms in an outside cabin, all clean and functional. Water for the showers was hot. Local Koala community within the park, so you can take a walk around and go Koala hunting! About a 15 minute walk along the coast to the main town. If in the Portland area would stay here again.

Cabin was very clean, the Lady at check inn at 2.30pm today was very friendly and helpful. The park is having a major up grade but when it's finished should be great.

Two night stay in heaven, didn't want to leave. Beautiful surroundings and wildlife plus close to everything! Reasonable rates too.

Nice and clean, friendly hosts, we got the spa unit, spa was disappointing as it was very temperamental and could not get to work, tried what the sign that was posted said to do to get it working, still didn't work, didn't contact hosts as didn't remember until it was late at night. Kids loved the play area, especially the jumping pillow.

It's one of those clean places I ever visited. This has enough spacious rooms, playing facility, enough common kitchen.... maintained well... staff is very helpful, good to visit again.

The toilets are clean and well maintained. The cabins seem to be extremely close, within half a metre of other cabin. Not much privacy.

Great Park. Friendly, helpful staff. Ensuite was awesome and very clean. Would recommend highly if you have dogs. Only short walk to town or the esplanade.

Great sized sites, clean amenities, very reasonable prices. Very secure boom gate. Birds are very noisy late afternoon & throughout the night. Don't get a site under the trees due to bird poop. Need a car to get to beach & shops.

We were lucky enough to be able to book a spa cabin for our 4 night stay. These are modern, clean, very comfortable cabins and the best we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is fantastic with good quality cookware and kitchenware plus an oven and cooktop. Highly recommended.

👍 Hidden place in Portland. Public viewing area is a bit far away from the birds. A binocular recommended. Better to check at Portland Visitor information Centre and find out when/what time they are running a free volunteer tours.
