A Fábrica da Picaria - Cervejaria Artesanal

Bar Brewpub

👍 A fine selection of craft beers and good pub atmosphere. Prices although are rather high even for craft beers. You could be paying over 10e for 1L of beer and that usually shouldn't be the case. As for the taste of some beers id recommend orange ale as it is very finely brewed. People often mention beers, great, beer, Porto, good, staff, nice, spot, seating,

Quickly becoming one of our favorite craft brew stops in Porto. Beers that we have tried have been consistently stellar. recommend the stout and the orange ale. Also, the food is way better than it needs to be. Had the bifana and spicy fries today - both excellent! Most importantly (to us) is that they are super friendly every time. Knowledgeable about their beers and food without being pushy. Highly recommend.

The staff is amazing! Like above and beyond amazing. The food was superb. The beer was mediocre but fresh and the atmosphere is forced and feels curated using stock photos that scream meme material

A neat little spot in Porto to come and get brewed beers. The beers are brew on the spot and you can see the display process of how it’s brewed on the wall. We tried the passions fruit mango and it was definitely tasty. They also have an outdoor terrace for the warmer months.

This was our first dinner in Porto, so we both had the francesinha. The food was pretty good, we couldn’t finish it so we ate the leftovers for breakfast. The service was exceptional, from both bartenders/waiters. The beers were both pretty decent. Overall, a nice experience.

Came here for a bite to eat and wasn’t disappointed. Pretty basic food menu but very nicely cooked. Nice modern environment with some outdoor seating too both front and back.

Highly Recommend this place! The Tropical IPA, 6abv, very good (and LOCAL brewed on site) - not overly "fruity", nice hoppy bitter ending. We had a pitcher of the IPA, 1/2 cheese, toast & meat board.. 18€ Wonderful terrace behind the pub or seating on a deck out front in addition to inside seating..

Awesome craft beer spot, with great food. I love hole in the wall places with a great atmosphere, and this place takes it to the next level. I tried multiple beers, and they were all great. They ranged from German styles to American styles, and there were others I didn't get to try. The beer is made on premises, so you can see the vats in the space. The food was great as well, and we cleaned out plates.

Only 3 beers to select from when we visited. My mini-Francesinha would have been ok as I liked the sauce but the bun was extremely dry and tough like it was a few days old. The beer was fine.

Friendly, warm service. My husband loved his flight and I was happy they had a house wine. We also got our first Francesina and it was delightful. (We have nothing to compare it to yet, but we loved it)

Only 3 on tap when I visited, I had the Loira pilsner which was a great pint. It is an interesting bar, with the brewing vessels in full view, and a great smell of hops. Definitely worth a visit, recommended

Nice cervejaria just 5 Min walking from Trinidade. The place itself is not fancy, but the external garden seemed to be nice. Inside is just anonymous. They offer different kinds of dishes, including francesinha, batatas fritas and cachorro porto style. Prices are very low.

What a great find. My props to the wait staff.. She was hustling. Beer and food were both good. Seating was comfortable and seemed like there was plenty of it.

First night in Porto and I wanted to try the typical dishes so there it is francesinha and bifana with pork really enjoying the last one and the artisan beer are very nice! The place is a bit small but cozy and staff is very friendly

I visited the brewery and I also stayed as a guest. The brewery is small but inviting, staff is nice and it feels homely. But what I really enjoyed was the apartment. Rustic, well kept, all the amenities available and it looked amazing. I loved it. Would be coming back for sure.

Amazing pulled pork sliders, some really tasty pints and good vibes. Great place for a few beers and playing cards after a day of sightseeing. Thanks again guys!

Fuuuuuuuuun! What a great little spot in Porto. The beers are great, the food is fantastic, the staff is phenomenal and the vibes are gooooooood! We had delicious bifanas, a traditional Porto hot dog (surprisingly delicious) and a couple of beers. The only shame is that they were out of stout, but that gives us a reason to come back! Loved it!

The beers iv'e tried had obvious fermentation flaws, which was disappointing. The food and location are nice though

Most of the beers were fairly well balanced, enjoyable, and free of off-flavours - nothing super adventurous (at least when i visited) but I was impressed, given that the craft brewing scene is fairly new in Portugal and some of the others (which I will not name here) had astringency notes throughout all their beers (likely due to crushing grains too finely in the milling stage). The one exception from the four that I tried was the witbier - I can't quite place if it's from milling too finely, too much wheat in the mash, or the hopping choices, but the finish was overly dry and astringent...which is especially odd for the style, IMO. I would definitely go back there if given the chance

Good range of snacks including some more traditional. Friendly staff. Nice place to hang out for a few beers.

Craft beer lovers should visit this spot when in Porto. You're surrounded by the fermentation tanks and equipment used in the beer you're drinking which creates a very unique experience. There are 3 different seating areas (barrel and counter seating down stairs, tables with stools, and outside you have a nice terrace with more seating. There's also a private area for events downstairs. The bar has an impressive range of beers and styles to choose. There are also new beers and guest taps added frequently. Food is "snacky" but good, so you always have something tasty to go with your beer. You can also ask for pairing recommendations, as the owners and staff are very helpful. It's a great spot and well located at only a few mins walk from Trindade station.

This is a nice place to hang out and have a few beers. Some novelty beers which makes for a good night for me. The food was ok but is not the main reason to come to this bar

👍👍 We experienced a very pleasant greeter who helped us make reservations for later in the evening.
