Enjoyed my food during my stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner all are buffet. Items are limited when compare to other start hotels but given items tastes good. Both lunch and dinner three varieties of briyani was available special mention kadai gravy. Menu can be different for breakfast and some of the items also not available.both in lunch and dinner deserts taste was awesome. I have booked in packing so it was good for me if you are coming directly for dinner r lunch it's not worth for given menu

Visited on a Wednesday. The same old ITC how it was before lockdown. No improvement. This is my nth visit to Madras Pavilion, but still they keep me disappointed. The spread is not worth the penny paid. Had a crunchy feeling and overall taste of most items were just average. Shortage of items in the counter, some items not properly cooked, no sync between staffs, no feedback form/mode of feedback and seems they are all underpaid. Needs a revamp of management and ambience. The only item I liked was Pomegranate Ginger Martini. It's loosing its charm. I may not visit again.

Excellent buffet and service. Perfect selection of curated food items, indulging experience is worthy and the best one can experience. Perfect ambience and an ideal buffet for everyone, lots of options be it a starters, main or dessert. Been to various buffet but this one is a top notch considering the varities and health aspects (adequate spicy, no deep fried nor oily). Unlimited indulgence without taking any toll on health. A royal treatment for royal price. Overall a must try and worth it.

Atmos is good, food isnt worth the amount we pay per person. They think earning money is just easy , we can realize this when they serve poor food to the table and when we pay the bill. Vegetarian dishes were not at all good, and strong advise if you want to have a veggie food then this is not your choice. Two wheeler Parking isnt arranged properly, yeah why visitor's are going to come in a 2 wheeler..remember bullet 500cc is also a two wheeler. Overall, ok choice from my choice rest is your decision.

The buffet spread at the restaurant was not very well-organized, and guests seemed confused while searching for items. Surprisingly, there were no cut fruits available in the buffet dinner. Moreover, there was only one starter, which was quite average in taste. I had visited this place after a gap of four years, but sadly, there was no improvement in taste. However, the one area that needs an overhaul is the buffet layout, which is not up to the standards of the Grand Chola brand

Sweet potato soup and aubergine was awesome. Prawns in coconut curry was beautifully made. Such a lovely spread of desserts. Visited during the holidays so it was busier and kind of gave a marketplace buffet vibes. Staff was very helpful

Massive buffet spread. Little crowded. Awesome staffs. I dined in other amazing restaurants like Avartana and Peshwari which were fantastic experiences but I’m not sure have happened here with standards. A little shocking experience below 👇 The reason I’m giving one star is that my My daughter got sick the next day and when I checked with a doctor he said she got a food poisoning. What I observed & was a little bit worried about was whether some of the cold food had not been maintained under the temperature properly. Holding a big name, I hope they maintain the hygiene & serve food at the right temperature where no food born illness occurs. Kindly take care 🙏

Excellent dining experience. The food items were really good. The spread was huge & unique. Royal ambience of the hotel. Buffet price is on higher side (2300+ per person with taxes), but worth spending, on special occasions. Liquor/Beverage has additional charges. We dined on Saturday for lunch & also celebrated my birthday.

I was staying ITC grand chola for a day and I had dinner and breakfast buffet which was included in my room charges. The day I went I inquired the cost for per person dinner buffet cost Rs.1995. They have more 20 dishes for selection. They have from paneer to beef. The had extensive desert and 3 ice cream for choosing. The table arrangements provided more privacy and ambience was good. They had 2 soup, 8 starters, 10 main dishes, 2 Biryani, can order indian breads of your choice. Raspberry cheesecake cake and almond ice cream was great.

Part of ICT grand Chola, 5 star hotel, the Ambience was great. Good variety of both veg and non veg. Mutton briyani was a signature dish one should not miss. Staff take care well. Worth to spend important occasions here. Love to visit again.

After my good experience tasting delicious food at pan asian. Took my family out for a buffet lunch. was really disappointed to see the lack of variety in the dishes offered. When a sausage dish is served in the lunch buffet it clearly shows the excess sausage in the breakfast buffet are reused. Having tried other lunch buffets in other hotels in the city the set of standards and expectations I had of ITC grand chola were really high. But sadly the buffet was a disappointment

“JENNIFER B.” - The most professional, delightful and attentative staff member I have experienced. From Start to Finish, Jenny saw it her sole mission to take full responsibility and assertion that my satisfaction would be not only met, but superceeded in every way, everytime. When issues arose, she sought solutions and immediately acted upon them. When other teammates would falter, she would arise and assume an alternative to resolve the matter quickly, efficiently and would finish every instance with a smile. In the time of my stay, personally, Jenny honed consistent skills of which few may ever recognize and appreciate. Her passion for personal human-to-human interaction is highly noticed and only wish others would embrace her initiatives and focus. Under John’s supervision, Jenny managed and brought about teamwork from within her colleagues. She inspired an excellent array of only the Best in the aspects of what one expects when enjoying the most important meal of the day, Breakfast. True Elegance, in every way.

Quality buffet that's what I would call... Taste being subjective.. There were few dishes I liked and few I did not but every dish tasted the original way... So based on the place you come from.. You would have love dishes indigenous to your place... My favourite were burma chicken soup, gosht dum biryani and cheese cake... Biriyani which was available for first time is the best ever gosht biryani with rich flavor I have tasted.. The mutton are succulent.. And legs filled with enough flesh.. But the second replacement serving was not up to same mark... Overall, they have salads around 3 veg and 3 non veg... One veg soup.. One non veg soup... 3 veg and 3 non veg starters.. No fry and no barbeque starters.. So people who go with idea of BBQ nation / Abq would be disappointed... All starters are either saucy and tandoor cooked... Or baked.. Then you have main course in South Indian and north indian and Chinese ... It basic naan, chicken biryani, veg biryani, butter chicken, fish saucy, prawn chemeen, noodles, fried rice, milagu chicken, keema, potato gravy, curry leaves rice, paneer and tofu gravy, brinjal gravy, curd rice and raita... Next they have ice cream and desserts... 4 varieties of cake... Chocolate pudding, 4 varieties of ice cream caramel, vanilla, chocolate, and orange... Also malupua, laddu, they had.. Overall without much fuss.. A very good buffet with enough options in a very high quality.. Enjoyable for once with family..

I dont even remember how many times in a row, on different visits even and every day while I stay the itc Chola, this restaurant serves me my best breakfast masala dosa so consistently. In presentation, flavour, crisp and with perfect sauces to go with. Well done. I actually book this hotel because I can rely on this breakfast.

The restaurant inside Hotel Grand Chola has buffet breakfast and lunch. We were there for breakfast twice and dinner once during our stay there. The restaurant was full at breakfast time. We had to wait a while. They were using the cafe mercara for seating the guests. The spread is wide covering cuisines from continental to Indian to Chinese. The food was tasty. I tried the continental cheesy items on the first day and South Indian items the next day. They also had a wide choice of breads, muffins and healthy items too. The staff were attentive and offering choices of dosas, juices and eggs on order. My sister and my wife tried the various dosas. They were served with a variety of chutneys. They relished them. Overall a satisfying breakfast experience to start the day.

I love this place, i have been here for two times. I think this the best place in Chennai for a great breakfast. I loved it for dinner also. Here the staff is very friendly and responsible. I love the dinner also here. When I went this time there was some exciting offer going on, usually the buffet would be 2250+ taxes as per standard rate. The offer was 1) 2500 + taxes includes water bottle and few beverages. 2) 3000+ taxes inluding liqour. So obviously I went ahead with 2nd offer, had 4 beers and one 12yr old whisky, both were not up to the mark, but still enjoyed my time there having other chicken & fish startes. But I love the food here. Few celebrities in chennai also prefers this place, i have observed during my stay there. Though its little expensive, its worth it.

Ambiance is quite good with Grand Interior. Went there for a lunch buffet, where intercontinental menu is served along with South Indian and Indian delicacies. Buffet spread had arround 60 items and what was remarkable was the quality and taste of food. I was literally stunned as we don't expect superlative taste in star hotels. Food was truly amazing to eyes and taste buds in equal measures. A special mention to Thayir Vadai and desert section, where the dishes were simply stunning. I would recommend this place for a buffet. I very much appreciate the hospitality as well.

Buffet here during breakfast is very nice and you will find lots of options to choose from. South Indian food options in particular are huge and they will not disappoint you as it gives real nice & authentic taste of South Indian food. English food during breakfast is also good with enough options. North Indian food is not that good as you would expect but still manageable, perhaps that reminds you are in South India. Hospitality wise, it's unmatchable and staff is really nice and always smiling & ready to serve you.

Nothing goes wrong these days with breakfast buffets. In fact I honestly believe that the breakfast buffets in any 5 star must always be the choice if you want to go for buffet and lunch and dinner can be a-la-carte. Buffet here se well was royal with lots and lots of options, it can be expensive. I don't think anything can go wrong with the breakfast buffet in Madras Pavillion.

Plush and elegant place. The buffet spread in terms of number of items, is fair. Starter items are less in number. Everything is as you expect an ITC experience to be. The only gripe is if you go in a large group they take ages to bring your bill.

It was nice experience. The buffet was tasty and delicious mostly. Some were average. The main con is very less spread... The disappointing experience was the dessert section which was not up to 5 star mark.. Its like a your neighborhood bakery cake.

Great Experience exceptional tasty biryani as always. Lots of menus to try worth eating at least once. Veg options also taste well. More dessert options to try. Pros: ambience is really cool. Luxurious feel makes you enjoy the food . Staffs are very polite and helpful as always. You will feel like taken care at all points. Cons: Very less Starters could have given better options like Grill/Tandoori chicken or BBQ style.

I paid 2800rs per person for dinner. Menu is very limited, only 2 veg and 2 non veg starters. Over all less number of dishes. Service is very poor, roti is very bad it's hard as hell. Biriyani is wow (but who will spend 2800 to eat biriyani), deserts are nice too. Generally in many buffet places there will be many deserts but they will be below avg. Here deserts are nice. Ambience is awesome you can roam around the ITC hotel and take very good pics. If you eat more starters then don't go here. Try barbeque buffets.

One Amazing restaurant by ITC.. it's one of the most luxurious hotels in sound India.. I think this is the only restaurant in ITC grand chola to provide breakfast buffet.. Me along with my 2 other friends had been today morning. The buffet has a wide variety of options. Right from North Indian to South Indian to American.. you get everything and the taste and texture of the food items is really amazing . You will be high on food ! The ambience of the hotel itself is really good.. and after all this the bill was just ₹1475/- per head for the buffet including the taxes.. worth the visit ! Must visit atleast one time.. I would go there every 2 months now!

Fantastic restaurant in ITC Grand Chola primarily serving North Indian and South Indian cuisine as a buffet. The ambiance within the restaurant was top-notch with good lighting and comfortable chairs and tables for dining. The South Indian dishes in the buffet were arranged in a push cart. Although chaat is not something one would look forward to, in a restaurant of this kind, there was a separate live chaat counter where delicious chaat items were on offer. Some of the staff were very hospitable including the manager. While dining at this restaurant, do not miss the dessert section as it has a lot of mouth-watering options.

Usually our visit to ITC is on either Thursday or Friday and this time we tried Lunch buffet on Tuesday, and we all wondered on seeing the menu items. Amazing starters with lot of sea food varieties. Many options were available in non vegetarian category... And sure that you will not be lucky to taste all food varieties as your stomach will be filled prior to that... keep going...

I visited this restaurant 7 or 8 years back and was totally disappointed with the buffet. It was around 2800 including taxes and the variety was very ordinary. I mean they severed chicken 65 as non-veg starter. Decided to never visit the place. Since the hotel has a grand ambience I decided to take my wife and 2 year old daughter for Christmas. I was charged 8850 for two inclusive of taxes. I have had better food for 800-1000 rs. Again the same story. Just two non-veg starters which included prawns and chicken lollipop which tasted like chicken 65. None of the items had a grand taste and where very ordinary items which you can get for a cheap price in road side shops. Don’t ever trust the reviews. 4.6 is a joke and 1 start only for ambience. I have taken my daughter to many ordinary restaurants and she gets excited and eats happily. First time she showed no interest to food and deserts.Normally in other ordinary buffet after tasting deserts she gets very excited and eats a lot. But this time after having a mouth she completely rejected the deserts. Well I am going to get a template reply like usual. For the one who is going to respond a fake template I ask why no improvements even after 7 or 8 years. Charge even 10k for a plate but atleast serve 2-3 dishes that is worthy of that price and won’t be available in other places for 100-200 rupees
