The place is very good if you want to try some Hyderabadi style biryani and some side dishes. The service is a bit slow but the place is very calm and quiet. The peaceful ambiance adds to the experience. Highly recommended !

Chicken Biryani was spicy and really good. Remembered the real taste of hyderabad dum biryani.

The food was good which is the most important criteria. We tried both mutton and chicken and they were actually good for the price. The quantity was good too. The waiters served us and were very kind. They gave us complimentary gulab jamun which was very sweet.

Best Hyderabadi style hotel. Must try is Mutton Briyani💯🤤 it contains 4 medium size mutton pieces. Out of four 1 piece maybe bone pieces remaining other pieces are boneless only! Chicken briyani taste has been taste little different its quite decent only but mutton briyani is worthy. Mutton briyani price 305 bucks, chicken briyani price 252 bucks. They giving on 700ml containers it will sufficient for 2 normal eaters, buy its not sufficient for heavy eaters. One briyani for one person will be decent until Share the briyani💯👍

The Hyderabadi Dum biryani is one of the most authentic, tastiest, spiciest Dum Biryanis in the city! Have been dining here for atleast a decade now, but they still maintain the same taste & recipe, unlike other top restaurants who have not been consistent. Their signature dish Hyderabad Fried chicken is another sumptuous dish. The ambience, the service, the staff have been wonderfully courteous. One Hyderabadi Dum biryani is sufficient for two people they have been gracious in terms of quantity

This is my heaven in Chennai after Hyderabad where I can get my love Hyderabadi dum Biryani, this place is trusted by me since 2008 when I've landed in Chennai that year, right from then Rama's never failed to deliver me the same feeling and excitement of the biryani they serve. There are many restaurants in Chennai which prepare hyd biryani, like in Rasavid,Paradise(Chn), Zeeshan, Namma Kitchen, etc., but the biryani in Rama's gives me a unique feeling among others and their masala gives a punch, and the texture, flavour, everything I enjoy a lot.

It's one among the few restaurants in the locality where you can get to taste the authentic hyderabadi food. The restaurant is located in the first floor of a complex in Arcot Road towards Vadapalani. Their service is really good, right from taking the order to serving the food. Last time, we tried their Hyderabadi Chicken as a starter which was really good. It wasn't completely dry but kind of a semi gravy with onion and green chillies. The Hyderabadi Boneless Chicken Briyani was also really good. It's in the authentic hyderabadi format of dum and masala pieces at the bottom. It's served with a plain gravy and a watery onion raitha. The only dish which was only an average was their egg noodles. Maybe trying out a Chinese food here wasn't the best decision. Overall, a decent place to try out hyderabadi style food.

One of the notable eat out in Arcot road. Biriyani taste is usual but Hyderabad oil fry chicken is a must try. Staffs are excellent.

They take very long time to prepare the food. And also the taste of the food is not that great it's ok for the penny we pay. But the price is bit higher. We tried fish fingers, Hyderabadi fried chicken , Mutton briyani, paneer fried rice, Chicken briyani all tasted average. That's why given 3 stars. There will be only one server to serve and he will be one who is also responsible for billing aswell ..so the service is not as expected and there is no croud at this place during the time of our visit.

Please don't believe the reviews which mostly may be from their staff, family or known circles. Their biryani was lousiest ever I have tasted. Their egg curry too was worst which you can't eat however hungry you may be. Biryani need not be very spicy but it doesn't mean it should be sweet. Who likes to eat sweet biryani ?. Egg masala tastes like jaggery payasam. Not just that, my tummy is severely affected after eating their food - eating despite its bad taste in order to not waste it. Above all, the price too for such a lousy food is very high. After reading their reviews I thought I have found a good non veg restaurant at last but highly disappointed and will never make a mistake of buying from them again.

I have heard about this place from my friends. This place servers very tasty Hyderabadi Chicken biryani. Since I am a vegetarain I had veg biryani. The taste of it is okay and the starter I ordered Tandoori Gobi is not that good. Please don't try that. Soups are good. If you want Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani do visit this place. He place is near to Forum mall.

Good hyderabadi biryani. Even though the ambience is not that great. It's a great place to have food. It's a residential apartment converted into restaurant. Most of the orders are takeaway. Very few ppl dine in. They have a variety of menu. They take lot of time to serve generally, hand wash and restrooms can be even more better. Parking facility available. Hope this helps

Finding a Hyderabadi Biryani is very hard in Chennai. I think this place can fulfill that more than 90%. The ambiance is good. Hyderabadi Taste and some people know Telugu also. I ordered chicken biryani. Rice quantity is good but they have to increase the chicken quantity. As it has only one piece that to small sized one. Cons: *wait time (usually more than 20-30mins) *Parking that too byk parking (okay but need some improvement)
