😠 We missed out on milkshakes today because the lady at the window wouldn't give my mom a stryrofoam cup for my baby sister so she could share a little bit of my milkshake. She was very rude when we asked for a cup, she told my mom it wasn't possible. When my mother explained, she said they cost money... This place has gone down hill since I've became an adult. 20 years later and the food is NO longer the pride and joy they once held on to for great food. The chicken strip and fries is a joke. 2 1/2 inch long by 1/2 wide and floppy as a dead fish. Same goes for the fries. Service was great, the food I'll take a pass on and won't be back here ever again, this place reminded me of the housing market. Pay more for alot less now.

She was very rude when we asked for a cup, she told my mom it wasn't possible. When my mother explained, she said they cost money but never gave us an option to pay. We ended up canceling our order altogether. :(

First time I've eaten at any Bunyan's, and ill definitely go back. Burger was great, fries were good (not too salted as so many are these days), milkshake was delicious, and their tarter sauce was amazing! Tarter sauce is like no other. It's the small things, 😉 employees were very nice, and joking around having a good time, which I like to see. That means they enjoy their job. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone! Can't wait to go back.

I came here yesterday just after 325ish…I ordered a double jumbo cheeseburger. I don’t know what they make the burgers on, but mine was nasty! Didn’t even care to give it to my dog! Waste of $14🤮 should have brought it back with my receipt 🤮🤮🤮🤮

This review is mixed and takes into consideration the low cost. Fried pickles were excellent but the burger patty was very thin and lacked flavor. Styrofoam cups downgraded the experience some. Overall the food quality and experience aligned well with the less than $7 meal price. The venue offered a 30-year throwback vibe. Friendly customer service.

Hi, Ate there today for the first time. Signage is very confusing. I wanted a simple bacon/cheese burger. I read that it came with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions upon request. I was apparently reading the wrong sign (first time in). The burger came with the meat patty ( kinda tasteless), good bacon, marginal cheese ( not real cheese idk), a mayo type dressing which was fine, buy I wasn't expecting this. No ketchup, no mustard, no pickles and no onion (because I asked her to add it less then a minute after I ordered). Apparently, I missed the window on that. I don't think I've written a review in over 10 years! Not going back anytime soon. Plus, totally unappealing were their very sweet, cute service gals who had their hair dangling down making it easy to land in someone's food. Super unappealing! Asst Mgr. was very polite . The senio mgrr. Had jus stepped out for a minute. I've worked in food service in my recent past. They can do better and should do better. Prices were very good. After I had a bite, I understood why. Very disappointing as my taste buds were ready for something very different then what I received. 🥴😮🙄

Needed a quick bite to eat. Service was friendly and quick. I loved the onion rings and the bacon burger. Nice stop

The manager here is a massive See You Next Tuesday. Used to come here all the time. I was given the wrong order on two occasions and was told both times that whatever is in the bag is mine now and if I want something different to order again.... I explained that my order was repeated back to me correctly, but this bag isn't my food. The employee explained that this is a rule from management that they will not replace food/drinks. Now I gladly drive, an extra 30 min total roundtrip, into Rathdrum because they rarely mess up my order, and when they do, they just fix it. It's really not that difficult.

First time trying this place. Took the family through the drive-thru after seeing the sign for the huckleberry shake, which was the only item that was worthwhile. Took a while in the drive-thru, somewhere around 15-20 minutes for us and the 2 cars in front of us that had already ordered before we got there. For the price and wait time we expected somewhere between fast food and a diner.. All of us decided we would rather go to McDonalds for food, service and price.

Messed up on our order and then tried to blame it on us. The managers are terrible and treat the staff poorly also. I can see why they are always hiring as who would want to work at a place like that!

The experience was not worth it to me. I was working, but needed to eat. Told 5 min to get order took 12. Sandwich was awful. Ordered chicken bacon ranch. Chicken dry and it was chicken strips that one would buy at grocery store for five year old. Went through drive through noticed 2 girls not doing much during the 12 min. It was around 5 min before I was even greeted at the window. Poor service, poor food.

Went there with my kids and my mother for a dinner when I receive the food I had to explain. They forgot a hamburger that I paid for the stuff was not very friendly and not willing to help after we got done eating my son got up and approached the counter to talk about a get an a refill and order 2 sandwiches to go.And they literally just ignored him as he reached and said excuse me, one of the ladies told him they were closed come to find out it wasn’t even 9 o’clock, but the manager has taken into her own hands to close the store down due to having too many 15 year olds, working for the company that was her reasoning, never heard of a 15-year-old cooking in the state of Idaho very interesting my elderly mother was trying to explain that she’s been coming here for 23 years and a family member of our used to worked for you guys and the manager decided to give confidentiality that That family member about their work ethic very sad very poor And very disrespectful manager coming to a elderly woman. I will not be back very sad that our family has been there for many years. Thrifty Scotsman, or zips will be getting my money. I really hope that the owners will read this. Watch their videos I really consider about their management and who they hire.

The burgers here are so really good and better priced then a chain fast food restaurants. I recommend the bacon / double bacon cheese burgers, the ultimate wammy and the do not forgete the muchers! A little small for parking and drive through. I believe that we have only had to circle the block twice to get in line at the drive through.

Worst customer service! My family of 6 visited the post falls location. My two sons had slurpees from 7-Eleven, next door. A young man asked us to not have outside food or drinks in the facility. Understandable. But the drinks were for two boys under the age of 7. My father was in the restroom as we were waiting on him to order. My mother said to the employee we were taking our food to go, not for dine in. The employee then checked with his manager and returned. He then proceeded to ask us to leave due to this policy. On the way out the door the employee said “good riddance.” None of us were mean, disrespectful, or even raised our voices. Paul Bunyan chain of restaurants has lost 6 customers for life, and more family members to follow accordingly.

The hamburgers and ice cream were yummy! The fries weren't so good. The service was good and friendly, and the wait wasn't unreasonable for fresh food. The floors and tables are so sticky though! I would go there again as a drive through, but probably not to dine in.

Service is quick & friendly. Staff is very helpful about menu questions. The food was delivered quickly as well as hot. It tasted good (cod fish & chips). Tartar sauce is good & in the right amount (I like vinegar-but didn't ask if they have it since I liked the tartar sauce). The milk shake varieties are fabulous. The burgers taste good. I like that they have fries or tater tots. Staff was busy cleaning when not taking orders or serving food. It was about 45 minutes before closing time but we never felt rushed. Staff was helpful about where to find places in town along with some history about the area & the restaurant itself. I want to add that 3 stars for the atmosphere only means it's a fast food, family friendly place & not a "fancy" candle light, table cloth/napkin,etc type place.

I went to grab a quick bite to eat and couldn't help but notice how extraordinarily sour the supposed "manager" of the establishment was, especially towards the younger employees. No respect whatsoever. I am disgusted at the lack of respect, understanding and common courtesy she failed to show. Me and my family will not be eating here again and instead would rather spend the extra time to drive to CDA's Paul Bunyan.

I enjoy the food but hate your short hours. How do you stay in business closing so early all the time. I hate McDonald’s but they stay open late too. I understand you’re hiring high school kids and that’s great. But they’re limited in working later hours. We get out of church around 8 and you’re closed. We have a desire for milk shakes after getting back to post falls from work and you’re closed. Many other burger joints are open but I don’t patronize them. Your business used to be open later but not now.

Okay, I shouldn't be eating fast food, but Paul Bunyan's doesn't count. A) It's not really very fast, but if you're a local, you know that and you know why. Their food doesn't sit for days under a heat lamp. They start the order when you place the order, which is very nice. B) You won't find a more extensive selection of drinks and shakes at any drive through in the region. C) They have legitimately good sides and more than just fry's and onion rings. D) The burgers are actually tasty. You can eat a Paul Bunyan burger plain. Try that at any other drive through, I dare you. E) The staff is great; happy, good natured and engaging.

Even though there wasnt anyone inside (the drive through was busy) we waited approx 10 mins before they took our order. I watch the person that came in after us leave after not even being acknowledged that he even existed... our burgers were wrong, and even with y or so staff they were extremely slow paced. All of the tables (all empty) were filthy.... Probably the worst paul bunyan

Went thru the drive thru, ordered a large order, and all mt family saw while we waited for our food was a young male that would come into view, glared at us while he had his hands down his pants, blew his nose infront of our window and then handeled cups & straws. The kid was the rudest most disgusting person we could have encountered.....NEVER will we stop here again. Thanks "JAKE" for serving the poorest customer service.

My husband and I are from this area and moved to Boise in 2013. We visit rarely but everytime we come to this area we HAVE to get a paul bunyan burger. There is nothing like a paul bunyan burger in our eyes the taste is a very unique amazing flavor that for some reason only they have. We have searched high and low all over Boise for an amazing burger but nothing compares to the holy grail. The Onion rings are real onion layers that are amazing! Hard to find. Paul bunyan just knows what the people want! If you ever come here and want the best burger ever this is the place to go! Now I just have to figure out how to get them to build a location in Boise! 😊

The deep fried pickles were tasteless and almost cold by the time I got them. The salad I bought for my mom had very little meat and my corn dog was over cooked, but didn't taste to bad. All in all I don't think I would eat here again.

Milkshakes are awesome, but needs more staffing and I knw with this economy people don't want to work so it's hard to have one cashier take care of drive through and the front end and then have one cook. So my food sat there for a bit so I ate it cold but it was not bad.

I have to say, I hadn't been to Paul Bunyan for quite some time. Now, I won't be going back. I ordered a cheeseburger in the drive through. Once I got to the window, I saw no one. I sat for about 10 minutes when a girl walked by and didn't acknowledge me. She came back a couple minutes later, handed my burger to me, and stated the price. I gave her my debit card, she ran it, handed it back to me and closed the window. Seriously? The burger had maybe a 1/2 teaspoon of ketchup, 1 & 1/2 sliced pickles and that's it. I was not impressed.

👍👍 Being from Texas I’m always looking for a good conversation and service. The Old European delivers on all fronts. I couldn’t really decide on what I wanted to start with first with the fresh squeezed OJ or the French press Brew. Lol I would have shared a photo of the food but I literally devoured it...
