I recently had a meal at L'Osteria Potsdam and found the dishes to be generously portioned and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for dining. If you're in the area and looking for Italian food, it's worth checking out.

The pizza here was extraordinary. Crispy and bodacious crust and unique mix of cheeses. Might it dethrone Constantino????

Very rude waiter!! Couldn’t answer questions about the menu. Dirty glasses with fingerprints everywhere! I didn’t even ask the waiter for replacement not to deal with his rudeness again. We have always visited this restaurant when in Potsdam. Never again.

A fine restaurant. Interior is very good. Pizza is also nice , still tasty on a second day. Lemonades are awful.

We dined for lunch and dinner at L'Osteria. The service was amazing and fast. The food was delicious, fresh and fulfilling. The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed the ambience and outdoor seating for people watching. I will be returning next time I am in the area of Potsdam.

Been to L'Osteria twice and both times the food was great! Pizzas are really big and very tasty. My wife had some pasta and that was really good too. Restaurant was very busy both times I went, might be difficult to get a table at peak times. Would definitely recommend!

Crowded Restaurant during Diner times. Although very bussy, the service is good, drinks are coming fast, Pizza 🍕 is excellent.

The ambiance is particularly delightful, especially during the summer when they open the terrace by the river. The staff is friendly, although the service can be a bit slow at times. The prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is conveniently located near the main station of Potsdam. Maybe so not common in Germany: The pizzas at this restaurant are generously sized, and you have the option to order half a pizza or two different varieties on one plate.

Great food, the pizza and the pasta, with very decent prices. The atmosphere is nice whether you sit outside or inside. Staff is friendly. It gets really crowded tho especially on holidays, so one better reserve before going so they wouldn't have to wait outside in line.

Beautiful and popular restaurant worth a visit. The pizzas are the best and very large. Takes a special kind of male to finish the whole pizza in one seating! The pastas are okayish. Clean with efficient service and turnaround time for drinks and food 👌🏾 Where we were seated the furniture was old and cranky. The couch was wobbly and uncomfortable to seat on. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great and the views of the river or the roads are great.

It is in nice place. But : restaurant was only outside 50% utilized, insed around 30-40%. We ordered 1 pasta with extra grana padano, 1 lasagne and 2 drinks. For the drinks comes aft 20 minutes. We waited additional 30 min for foods but only the pasta arrived without grana padano. Highlighted in the upcoming additional 30 minutes two time that grana padano missed… the lasagne arrived separately around 15 minutes after pasta separately. The size of lasagne (ordered as adult “size”) was enough maximum for childern. The pasta was no extra and cold. I think for same quality the price level must to be around 20-30% less. Below is the pasta “with the ordered grana padano” - oh I still wait the grana padano…

The pizza taste great. The ambianve is really nice and the waiters are friendly. One thing... because the pizza is so big, it's already cold when you eat it half.

Everything is good except the service. Super rude waiter. Except him the ambiance and food are top.

My go to place to eat in Potsdam, beautiful view, quick service and tasty food. The only small downside, as a vegan, I would really appreciate a vegan pizza option 🙂

This place used to be ok but now it's really mediocre. The pizzas are big and not bad at all, but the rest of food was terrible. The risotto wasn't really a risotto and it was definitely a mix of overcooked rice with some pieces of raw grains and very "untasty" mushrooms. The spaghetti was still served with a big lump of sticking pasta. The service wasn't bad but it took quite long before they even come to ask for an order, at the end we weren't really asked about dessert or something and it took several attempts to get their attention to pay. The location it's comfortable tho, near the station and in daylight/summer is certainly nice by the water.

Very good pizza and pasta place. Nice and friendly staff a little secluded next to the overrun Peter pane but it has better food and a nicer atmosphere the only small critique point is that the choice music is rather Iberian than Italian but a very nice experience if you are in the area.

My first time in L’Osteria was a month ago and I’ve repeated. The food is good, but specially I think the pizza is amazing. Is a restaurant with good quality and quantity of food and it have good prizes for it. The waiters/waitresses were really nice. I recommend it. If you are in Postdam you have to try it.

Ordered a pasta that was terrible, asked to order something else and was told the kitchen was closed at 2145 (google says open until 0000). The server was nice to give recommendations about what to see in Potsdam.

Small menu focused on pizza. The location is nice and the pizzas thin and huge like in Rome. Tasteful as well. The salad with the goat cheese is very recommendable as well. Tasty homemade lemonade.

This is the second time we’ve been to this chain of this restaurants one in Dresden and here !! food is good not exceptional I had the zucchini noodles which I like because I don’t eat pasta with a pesto sauce she charge me $1.50 extra which I thought was ridiculous but didn’t say anything also the pasta with cream sauce was good everything is good but nothing exceptional the waitress was OK she did bring me check paid by card This is the first time that I saw that they asked for 10 15 20 or 22% tip the first time I’ve seen that in Germany and I thought it was a little in Germany !!!!pricey for what you got this is probably a really good place to eat pizza and a salad maybe but not the pastas

A pretty decent pizza and Italian place. Their pizzas were huge and we ordered one to share between the two of us. They allowed 2 different toppings so that was a nice touch. A good, solid place with very reasonable prices.

Perfect anyways, just if the add more options for the pizza selections would be great. Clean prestigious and classy. Not to forget its nice corner on the river which give it a very romantic atmosphere with the loud of walkers around the place. Easy to reach from the bus/ tram Station and however, friendly people and services. Open transportation options in the area to take you to the heart of the city ... You can also have a short walk to the main station as well . On the other side is the city centre which is also reachable by walking transportation options in the area to take you to the heart of the city ...

We ate around 5 times at this LOsteria, the food is always good but the service is really bad. I mean… you have the feeling that they mock you with how bad, uniterested, and unfriendly they are. We’ve been also in different conditions here, where there were alot of guests, almost no guests… a in between, so I don’t think this kind of service is excusable when the restaurant is almost empty. With this kind of service I mean the waiting time till the order is taken, the pizza being already cold or having to say 3 times that one has to pay and waiting another 20 minutes… I mean I get it, bad pay, horrible guests (at times) no good tip. What can I say, I think it will be the last time we are here. It is what it is.

I was very poorly attended. The restaurant seems really nice and everything, but when I called the waiter (after waiting for a long time) he was EXTREMELY rude to me, and basically told me to get over myself. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. There is “Peter Pane” right next to it, in which the waitresses were very nice to me.

Such a big punch in the face of good memories. L'Osteria is one of our family's favorite restaurant in Potsdam and tonight we found out that delivery from the web site is available. So we jumped on it. We ordered pizza, because this places pizzas rocks. And since we were frequently ordering antipasti and bruschetta from another Italian restaurant in Potsdam, we wanted to give a chance to L'Osteria as well. I mean, a place with such a tasty pizzas, how bad could it be? First, order came a bit wrong. We ordered a coke regular but what we delivered was a coke light -because Coke was out of stock we have been told- with an ice tea as a "sorry". This was a bit odd for me because generally restaurants call you back if there is a product missing. But anyways, as I said, we like the place and we said ok. But then... Then we have seen the antipasti and bruschetta... Wish we didn't see it. Just look at the antipasti photo. 2 different boxes. Look at the portion size and the service. This is a 21,95€ food. Taste is super dull, all ingredients over each other. We are ordering from another place as I mentioned above, they deliver with a big plate, covered by folio, 24€ for 2 person. This? This is excuse me but a joke. Bruschetta? 6,95€ of 4 slice of breads all over the place. You need a spoon to collect all ingredients from the box and put it on top of bread. Do it yourself bruschetta... Pizzas were again probably the best in Potsdam but antipasti and bruschetta are unacceptable fails. This was a very bad experience, since we adore the pizzas and the fast service with smiley faces I couldn't cut more stars. But learnt our lesson in a harsh way, probably never order again -except pizza. Such a pity.
