We stayed as a last minute Plan B due to Berlin coronavirus numbers being so high that became a hotspot overnight. This hotel is very secluded, on an island in Potsdam. It is not very central which was ok for us since we wanted to restrict and limit contact to many people. Hotel was not fully booked but they had safety measures in place because of coronavirus. We had to reserve the indoor pool/spa since there was a maximum capacity. One morning, we had the entire indoor pool to ourselves. I also enjoyed the spa that is located on the water behind the hotel. It offered amazing views! Breakfast variety was very vast. We booked the Suite Maisonette. The entry floor had a small bathroom, closet and bedroom with a long balcony and view of the front of the hotel. The upper level was the living room and main bathroom. On this level was a huge balcony with a view of the lake, forest, outdoor pool. my daughter slept on the sofa in the living room (she’s 9 years old). I sometimes slept on the sofa with her so it’s big enough for 2 people. Hotel stay was wonderful despite corona restrictions.

The location is fantastic, the staff was less so. On checkout, a long queue was forming but they kept up talking among themselves. We left for a wedding and they told us that it wouldn't be a problem to get a cab back at night. It was. When we called the hotel reception to assist us in finding a taxi, the guy went from annoyed to very angry in seconds. We had to hitchhike back eventually. The head waiter was a delightful chap and joked around with the guests - before loudly berating his staff within earshot.

Surely not a 4 star hotel. Curtains in rooms don't darken, no coffeemaker in the room. In general average build, no high standard. Staff sent me and me colleagues away from the terrace after first serving us a beer first. Argument was that they wanted the keep the tables for a la carte dinner guests. The tables remained empty the whole evening.

Nice location and quiet. Restaurant with terrace overviewing the lake which is nice but it’s a bit dark inside. Sauna on the lake for guests, very cool.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast spread is incredible, the food is excellent, and it is a great place to have small meetings.

The room was very spacious for a European room and the service here was perfect in every way. Next time I'm in Potsdam it will be my first choice for a stay.

We stayed for two evenings. Picturesque sights and height quality amenities. A highlight was our visit to the restaurant with spectacular service from Herr Schmidt and Herr Omansi and delicious food.

Nice location, good kitchen and very supportive and professional staff. Recommend the all local version of a Currywurst with fresh potato salad alongside a potato beer ! Coming back for more

Comfortable Hotel right at the lake. Beautiful landscape, lovely walk at the lake and great service. Quiet and comfortable rooms with sun deck. WLAN, Parking and Spa available.

Very nice and quite place. We had two rooms. Very clean stuff is very friendly . Breakfast is a dream and the two warm water pools and spa was great especially for the girls. We had great time. Enjoy
