Nice little park in downtown Powell. Small little playgroup that is best for kids 6 and under. The splash pad is nice but small and probably also best for younger kids. The splash pad is free of charge. There is plenty of room to sit in multiple grassy areas and there is a small pond with a walking path nearby. There is a larger covered pavilion with picnic tables and a Pepsi machine. There is a water fountain between the splash pad and park and public restrooms are in the municipal building. There's a good amount of parking and all of this is within walking distance of two ice cream places in downtown Powell.

What a great location! Open from 9am to 9pm, the splash pad is a great place to cool off. We've found packing water goggles, towels, snacks, and sandals help prolong our stay. Right across from the Splash Pad is an adorable little park for the kids to flit between. There's not much seating, and this spot can get crowded. For longer stays, it may be worth carting a camping chair or picnic blanket.

Fantastic park for small kids! My 4 year olds twins loved it there and it was easy for them to run between splash pad and playground but my only concern was my two older kids (9 and 6) were bored because to them it was too small. A lot of the kids bring cups and take splash pad water to the slides on the playground to make waterslides which is too good. Flooring on playground and splash pad are the same, nonslip spongy material. Perfect place for the 5 and under crowd!

First time visiting this park, and very impressed. Large open areas for a variety of activities, kids splash pad, picnic shelter with tables, walking path. Adjacent to Powell’s police station. Look forward to returning with my grandchildren.

Poison ivy is 3 feet from the children's splash area. There is a sign to not mow or spray. If you don't like those methods, please pull the poison ivy so that babies do not get blisters. Thanks!

This park is a nice oasis from hustle and bustle. It is only a block from downtown Powell - easy walking either way. It includes a splashpad for the children and a playground. The is a nice covered platform with picnic tables. It also includes a walking path and much more to while away an afternoon or evening.

This park is my kids' favorite and SO CLOSE to being a five star park except for a few significant flaws that make it unnecessarily frustrating. Both my kids and I love a good splash pad/playground combination, and this splash pad is the best we've found in the area -- there are actually enough features to keep them relatively occupied and get them soaking wet. The layout of the playground and splash pad is awful for visibility and containing small children, however. The only immediate access to the playground from the splash pad is a bridge straight onto the jungle gym -- with two young, fast children, it's obnoxious to have to either climb on the playset itself when they go darting back and forth to watch them, or climb through the bushes, or walk ALL the way around and lose a lot of visibility of both play areas. It's a terrible setup for parents of young kids that need closer supervision. It could be remedied super easily by simply removing one or two bushes and adding access (stairs and a ramp) into the playground area. It's such a poor design choice in what is otherwise a great park. The bathrooms are the other issue -- there are literally signs up at the splash pad telling parents to take their kids to the bathroom so they don't poop in the water, but the bathrooms are a significant distance from the play area and are very small for the amount of people that this park regularly gets. It's a potentially GREAT park and by far a favorite, but as a parent of multiple kids, things make it so needlessly frustrating.

Went to a child's birthday party. The shelter was very close to the water area and the playground. Which we all enjoyed.

We have 3 boys ages 7,4 and 2. They had a blast going back and forth from splash area to park. Very nice area. I'd suggest water shoes so when going back and forth their feet don't get too hot.

Very clean and safe, right beside a police station. Splash pad was awesome for children of all ages. The older children were very mindful of the smaller ones, which was refreshing to see. Playground was amazing as well.

The splash pad is awesome. They were really smart with their planning too. There is a button that you press to activate the water, so it’s not running constantly. My 2 year old was a little scared because the water is pretty intense, but he would have had fun if he had tried it (he was in a mood 🤣) highly recommend

Very nice park. Well maintained. Police station at the park. Rest rooms with running water. Powell was having a festival at this time and there were lots of venders. The area was trash free even during this event. The splash park looked very refreshing.

Wonderful place!! Amazing green space just to sit, put out a blanket, throw the frisbee, or even corn hole. Picnic tables. A stage where they do live music. Playground and a splash pad. This place is terrific!!

Nice park but it's hard to see the playground from the splash pad and my kids were running between both. Also, there is almost no shade around the splash pad and it can get hot sitting in the sun.

This park is right across the street from my house! It's Beautiful! A great place for Parents and children to have a great time also, for older ones to walk, run, exercise etc. You could picnic, have dinner... It's a huge plus and comfort that the Police Station is a "hop skip and a jump" inside the park. There are also planned activities posted for all to see or make inquiries with the Park and Recreation Dept.

This place was great for the kids. And small enough to keep an eye on them. Seating is scarce but there's lots of grass. Restroom are available but quite a walk to the playground.

Fantastic park with a real nice amphitheater and stage setup. Went for the Powell community bonfire and had a wonderful time with free marshmallows, hot dogs, donuts, and apple cider. Live music and of course real nice bonfire.

Had a great time with our 7 grandkids! They have a splash pad, a play ground, a stage, etc. There is a police station at the park as well so you can feel safe. I would recommend to anyone.

Great splash pad and playground; the train play structure is a hit with my toddler. Not much shade near the splash pad so sunscreen or an umbrella are helpful. Picnic area with soda machines, and clean restrooms at the police station building. If you play Wizards Unite there are several inns, greenhouses, and a fortress here too. Plenty of parking. Kids love it and so do I.

Great little splash pad to cool off on. Why don't they keep it open for more of September, the hot weather doesn't seem to be going away.

Great little park with a nice shelter. We came here for the spalsh pad for my toddler and he had a blast. It's just the right size that even with a large amount of kids, they can overflow into the adjacent playground. Only "complaint" is no matter what, one of the benches surrounding the splash pad is always down wind and getting sprayed with water.

😐 Great little museum in powell,WY. Lots of interesting antiques and a nice rock collection of artifacts, fossils and minerals.
