There is a trail from the park headquarters to the view point along the peninsular. It is a distance of about 300 meters. There is a trail up the peak but it is now closed. According to the staff it is "too dangerous" to allow free access. I offered to pay for a guide and and was turned down. It seems Thailand is turning into a nanny state now when it comes to trekking or more challenging hikes. Everywhere adventure type activities are being restricted and controlled. Maybe it's just too hot for the park staff to make an effort or perhaps those plump ladies at the park headquarters just want an easy life with no physical exertion. Lovely place, calm, clean, surrounding with real natures, beaches, bays and real local people. A very clean toilets with a free service charge in the forest park, if you are hungry there are some restaurants around before you get here and there is a camping area and also some accomodations for you to stay!

Very nice nature walk, but the highlight is just to sit at the coffee spot and see the view. Best time is evening for a great sunset. You can rent a tent for camping (2022). Well worth it for Baht 250/night. 10 minute drive round the bay from city center.

We spent a couple of relaxing days camping at the forest park near the beautiful bay and surrounding mountains. The park staff were fantastic always helpful, very friendly and always looking out for our wellbeing. This is a great place to either spend the day chilling out by the bay taking in the stunning scenery or spending a few nights camping in the park. The park is close to Prachuap town, Ao Ma Nao and Ao Noi so there are plenty of good things to do and see in the area. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

I love Prachuap but this particular park is not so much worth visiting if you're tight with your time. There is a 30 or 45mins hike one way. Quite difficult. I don't recommend going in flip flops. At the end you're on a cliff (you can go down to the sea level I think-I haven't done it because I was so tired from the hike). The view is ok, nothing spectacular. It's all right to go there if you've got some time to kill or you're a nature fanatic.

It's a tent camping area and walking trail to the little view point where you can look back to see the mountains and seacoast.

Photos of Dusky Leaf Monkeys taken during 'lockdown'. Park closed, no tourist and first I've seen them come down from the hillside. Probably never see them again.

There's not much to this place, but it's still a little gem. Entry is free. Near the parking area, there are houses for rent, along with a drink seller. Just inside the entry are a restaurant and very clean bathrooms, with flush toilets and showers. Bring your own soap and TP. A bit farther inside are tent sites. It looked to me like you can rent a tent site with their tent, or you can bring your own tent. There are lights strung along the way, leading from the entry to the tents. The nature trail is only 300 meters long, so walk slowly or have a seat and just enjoy the view. This area is not suitable for swimming. Trail leading up the mountain is blocked off. Overall, a very peaceful place.

Has a nature trail 300m but perhaps not really worth that if you coming only for this.
