An absolute gem! We were lucky to simply walk in for dinner without a reservation. We were immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere of the brick walls and arches, and the welcoming and attentiveness of the staff. I've been eating lunch here for years, and almost never disappoints. They always have one vegetarian option and at least one traditional Czech option. I call it nouveau Czech business. Evenings turns into a wine/ tapas bar. The owners are usually there which I guess is behind the lasting high quality service. Only down side comes from the physical limitations of the space. There's not a garden and not a lot of natural light, so it can feel a bit dark / enclosed depending on where you're sitting and how nice it is outside.

Fantastic... Possibly the best tapas bar i have ever been to. Every dish we had was great, cooked well and overall tasty. Nothing here was average or typical that you would get in other tapas bars. Even the bread (beetroot bread) was different and good. And to top it off, it is extremely well priced (7 dishes, 2 drinks and a bottle of water) for 700 krona (about £30). I just feel very very bad that i completely forgot to leave a tip due to focusing on directions to our next place. I hope the heat review is a better payback!

For drinks, they have a variety of wines, two beers from a smaller brewery (a lager and typically a seasonal ale) and of course the delicious home made lemonades. But, I feel like for 160kc per tapas one could expect a little bit more, regarding the amount. It was very small plates. If the portions would be bigger I would have definetely recommended. It's cozy and artsy, offering both tapas for dinner as well as a more affordably priced lunch menu during the week. I have been there twice and was pleasantly surprised both times. They treat veggies with care and imagination, and give a free glass of ice tea with the lunch menu. The aftertaste of this reminds me of a gummybear- which, obviously, does not suck one bit.
