Absolutely unique pub in the centre of Prague. When stepping in you instantly get a feeling of local village pub but you are still in the city center just around the corner from all the tourist buzz. This is a pub run by a Hostomice brewery, which is one of top Czech craft breweries that only brews Czech style lagers and seasonally special bottom fermented beers (love their Winter malty Bock beer). This place has truly neighborhood feeling with some regulars also being commuters thanks to its proximity to Masaryk Railway station.

Tiny old school neighborhood pub with wonderful beer. Don't come here because I want to be able to get a seat :)

Great little locals bar just off the main road from Náměstí Republiky to the river. Serving fresh and tasty Fabian beers from the Hostomice brewery.

Small bar with 3 beers on tap. Bit of a dive but also very low prices. Overall nice atmosphere. Cash only! ATM is 30m to the right

Small little pub, great beer, and friendly people. They brew the beer themselves since 1407.

Recommended this place from Beers around the world book and it didn't disappoint. Be aware it's cash only (there is an ATM in the mini mart a few doors down), but the beers here are great.

Best pub I visited in Prague. It made me wish o spoke Czech so bad! A real living room away from home and if I was Czech and lived in Prague I can’t see why I wouldn’t make it my local.

A nice small neighborhood pub. Football is shown on TVs, the beer is from Hostomice brewery, and since the pub seems to be brewery-owned, the beer is well taken care of. Staff speaks some English, and is friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

It's like the old places I can still remember from Cracow. Do not expect the 5 stars but the atmosphere is great. As the prices. Authentic. Thatvwhy it is great. Thanks.

Ended up here as the Belgian place across the road was closed. Very traditional Czech pub with unique beer (no Pilsen or Staropramen), locals were friendly and made the effort to speak English to us, this weird idea that Czech people are grumpy is complete rubbish - I have lived in Prague for four months now and have never felt unwelcome anywhere. As an expat I often end up in more touristy or 'fancy' bars when this kind of Pivovar is much more my thing. If you are looking for a quiet drink, somewhere to play a game of cards, watch the sports channels without a sports bar vibe etc. then give this a try :)

Gutes Bier, ehrliche Atmosphäre, faire Preise. Man sitzt mit der einheimischen Bevölkerung und wird trotzdem super nett behandelt. Eine urige Kneipe, wie es sie kaum noch gibt. Klare Empfehlung!

Genuine pub with genuine people. Okay beer, good price, no bs staff. Genuine surprise. Cash only works unfortnately.

Small place that brews their own beer which was fantastic. The place was just what I expected, pretty much a local bar with service that matched.

Very small, very local, clear & tasty microbrewery beer. Do not expect a touristic pub.

Beer is so-so, the place smells cigarettes, cash only. Don't count on any food but snacks such as utopenec if you know this kinda weird czekh marinated sausage dish

Small unassuming bar with great beers. A hidden gem in Prague. Their dark lager is specially amazing. Cash only.

Craft Czech lager from the small Hostomice brewery south of Prague. Arguably the best Czech lager presently. The pub, however, is simple, small, with the TV running nonstop. Beer hard to beat, though!

Neiborhood pub. This is the kind of place where Czechs get their daily dose of beer. Ask for the Fabián brew.

👍👍 For me, the best place to eat in Prague. Not only drinks, but also foods arrive at your table on trains. On some tables, trains return to even take empty plates! On top of that - the food is delicious, same goes for drink. The staff is very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place.
