Best indian food we ever had. We started with the samosas, which were very crunchy on the exterior but mushy, soft on the interior. Then, we ordered chicken korma and the butter chicken, both with basmati rice ( you have to pay separately) and garlic naan. Everything was so delicious, well spiced, aromatic and balanced so the review is easily a 5/5 one.

Staff service was awful. The person who served food to us literally threw the plates and food in the table! There were only 2 persons for taking orders, serving food and collecting payment. I have been to many Indian restaurants across the europe but the food served over here was at the next level. We went as a group 0f 7 and the we ordered various things starting from starters like chicken tikka masala and panner tikka masala then main course and desert like gulab jamun. For me the Mango lassi and Punjabi dishes were the best i had. Must visit when in Prague. Also it's relatively cheap considering the quality and quantity.

It is a cozy place with Punjabi taste in town. Eaten Bhunna chicken and rice. Portion was not very bug but over all experience was good. It’s i think 500m to Charles Bridge, so good place to grab a bite when walking around old town. Staff was friendly.

The guy on the next table also told us he came many times before but it's not longer the same owner and since then, quality dropped and his chicken was super dry.

Being in Germany for so long , i had forgotton how real tandoori chicken taste like. Been to so many Indian restaurants all across Europe, I can definitely say that this place is hands down the best Indian restaurant you can get. I'm glad I can avoid junk food now and eat here everyday throughout my stay in Prague. Their service is kind and friendly, ambience is nice with classic Indian instrumental of our old hits that builds the atmosphere more homely. Don't forget to try their chicken tikka sabzi and mango lassi, its simply the best. Food is not at all oily and truly authentic with a taste you only get in expensive restaurants in India. Price wise you will be surprised how legit inexpensive it is. It's a hidden old town gem that's not worth missing ;)

So, we we stumbled upon Golden Tikka, it was a fantastic surprise. Spicy. Tasty. The chicken tikka has the perfect creamy nutty texture and the chicken moist and tender. Great lamb biryani too with lost of flavours and big chunks of melting in the mouth lamb. Great naans. We ordered far too much but it was worth every morsel. Friendly attentive staff also. I LOVE this place. First of all, the service was awesome. It's a very typical Indian place with wonky chairs and mixed decor but our waiter treated us like we were in a posh restaurant. The menu has allergens information and includes Indian staples. Everything we had was just delicious. Probably one of the best Indian food meals I have had in a while.
