Extraordinary Breakfasts The place is located in the old city of Prague. It’s one of the most authentic, yet exquisite looking restaurants in Prague. Food All in all the food is very delicious and it’s having a magnitude of diversity in the taste and variety with the options. Dishes, with avocados, salmon, and mushrooms. Usually taste, extraordinary I would also recommend certain desserts like blueberry pancake, and having some fresh orange juice with that, of course. Coffee is there a very delicious and well balanced and professionally made. Service Service is very good people. There are very friendly, but at the same time they are always in a rush and it feels as if it’s hard to get hold of anybody there unless you try to show for it. Atmosphere The atmosphere is fine, I’ve been going there for about 10 times and it’s always busy and you have to come ahead of time and possibly wait on an average between 15 to 45 minutes to get a table if you’re lucky at least that what happened with me in most of the times, I have got there. The place is always crowded, and you feel as if you are sitting with the people next to you listening to everything they’re doing. Will check most of the times for me at least it feels annoying. I wish they could have an extended version of the same place next to it, or have a certain system that allows people to eat with the same atmosphere, but enjoy certain level of comfort as it is not very comfortable sitting there with the waiters moving and the people next to you passing by hard, leaving or moving. All in all, I give it 5/5 just for the food

Located in the Old Town, Bistro Monk is a popular cafe with a tight dining room inside and an outdoor patio. Stopping in around 9:30 on a Saturday in July, we got the last table before a like formed to get in. The menu is diverse- granola, eggs Benedict, pancakes. I had the pancakes. They come beautifully decorated with a blueberry sauce over it. It’s not too sweet and so good. The latte was creamy and well brewed! Service was good.

Good location, close to old town square. They use fresh and high quality materials. Delicious breakfast. The quality of coffee is as normal. In my opinion, the worst thing is that the waitress will ask you for tip. I personally do not like that. If somebody is happy from your service he/she will give you tip. This is more professional than asking for 10 percent tip.

Absolute gem of a brunch place, we had a great meal & time. The food was absolutely delicious & the gingerbread latte ☕️ was really really yummy! We ordered the: - Benedict, with avocado 🥑 & salmon 🍣 was perfect. The sauce was just the perfect consistency and not too heavy, the toast was not too hard to cut and eat, the eggs were cooked to perfection and loved having both salmon & avocado as part of the dish. - The Granola was homemade and delicious ! Covered with yoghurt, honey and fruits, was really enjoyable. - The latte was yummy! We also ordered an iced tea and normal tea, also great - The service was really friendly and welcoming, the team took their time taking orders and explaining things and making sure we and our little boi 🐶 comfortable.they even bought him water and a range of snacks & treats which was super sweet Would absolutely recommend this brunch spot 🍳🍣🥑🫖🥠🐶🍎🍑

Omg, basically it was the best spot we visit on our stay in Prague. We were waiting about 20 minutes in the line in front of the restaurant but meanwhile we were served hot tea by the staff🥰 when we entered the spot, we were served quite quickly, the staff was so friendly and talkative which I assume it as a huge plus! Thank you for doing such amazing job. P.S. I forgot to mention the food but there was nothing to complain about. Everything was served exactly how we expected.

We came for Sunday brunch, place was super crowded so we had to wait for table like hour or so. But was definitely worth it, first of all big applause for all staff because even it was super busy day for them they didn’t lost smile out of their face and good mood. Food was very delicious all small details play together plus portion are quite generous. Definitely will come back again.

I visited Bistro Monk for brunch with my partner and we were very impressed by the quality and variety of the food. The bistro has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff. We ordered different dishes, such as avocado toast with poached eggs and smoked salmon, and pancakes with fresh fruits and maple syrup. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also excellent, and the mimosa with fresh orange juice was a nice touch. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes and the service. I would highly recommend Bistro Monk to anyone looking for a great brunch spot in Prague. It is definitely worth the wait!

One of the best places in Prague for a delicious brunch. The staff was super friendly and very little waiting time. We ordered green pea soup, avacado toast with mushrooms and poached eggs, and pulled chicken tacos. Avocado toast was super delicious. Super brunch spot in the heart of Prague. Highly Recommend it.

Very friendly people, with delicious food. We tried eggs benedict and the mango smoothie bowl, which were all very nice. No bookings needed, but small place so going early is recommended.

This place is the right choice for a breakfast in prague, simply because its the best. High quality that represents the unique identity of the place, simple but dynamic, fast service with lovely hospitality.

Nice place. The waitpersons were friendly. The English breakfast 🍳 is terrific. I got a table without booking, but it's good to book it before. The only thing I wanted to change was the sweetener. It made my flat white coffee ☕ do not taste very good. They should use a better brand. They split the payment per person, which helps a lot for groups. The price ir fair, not expensive. The place is well located l easy to find, just in the corner. Also, the music 🎵🎶 was nice and at a good level.🎚️

Nice food. Fast and kind service. Cozy atmosphere. Good value for money. We visited for brunch two times, both were perfect, the waiters were kind and fast, all of our plates were prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant with a lot of people coming and going. My oat milk coffe was perfectly served. I totally recommend it if you want to have brunch in Prague.

One of the best place for breakfast in Prague. Few minutes walk from astronomical clock attraction. Food is delicious and I love their toast especially and the waiter and waitresses are extremely helpful and nice. Highly recommended. May need to queue for 20 minutes as it is really popular

I find it hard these days to justify giving 5 stars to a restaurant knowing the standards out there but this definitely hit the spot! My partner and I waited about 45 minutes for a table, but was being offered warm tea during our wait, and the staff were hot on people trying to jump the queue. The staff were fab. I mean, really really fab. Couldn’t fault them! The food was fantastic and delivered so quickly, and quite reasonable value considering the popularity of the venue. The queue might take a while, but I’d recommend whilst you’re there.

You have to absolutely believe the hype about this place. We went here for breakfast two days in a row because it was THAT good. One of the best eggs Benedict dishes I’ve ever had. Actually THE best. Get the Avo toast Bali with salmon or bacon depending on your preference. Unreal. Staff is really nice and menu is small but they do everything very very well. We also tried the blueberry pancakes which were so tasty. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Prague!

one of the most delicious brunches I’ve had. the staff are very friendly and the vibes are cute, with lots of plants and charming aesthetic. slightly pricier than average but this is to be expected with most hipster brunch places in Prague, and the delicious food makes it worth it.

Amazing food and one of the best services we've experienced in Prague! They even brought us a warm infusion while we waited outside for tables to be free. Chilled and relaxed!

There's absolutely nothing to say that is negative about this place. The super friendly staff seated us immediately, and they even allowed us to move inside once it started to rain heavily. The food was nothing short of amazing. Everything was fresh, delicious and presented very nicely. If I was here for more than a weekend I'd go back to try their brunch and other dishes. Update 30-8: I had to go back before leaving for breakfast. Not disappointed at all, their breakfast is as phenomenal as their dinner.

Really nice brunch spot. We had the sourdough toast with sweet potato spread and poached egg (super tasty) and the Avo "Bali" (avocado on toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs) with a glass of mimosa! Service was quick and very friendly and the location is great, being a stone's throw from the Astronomical Clock but away from the crowds and didn't feel too touristy.

When in Prague, you must absolutely give their brunch a try! Typically, there's a wait of around 20-30 minutes for seating, as it tends to get quite busy. During our visit, we indulged in AVOTOAST WITH ROASTED MUSHROOMS (with an additional side of bacon), BREAD WITH SWEET POTATO SPREAD (paired with an extra poached egg), AVOTOAST "BALI" (with an added marinated salmon), BUTTERMILK PANCAKES WITH BLUEBERRY SAUCE, and CARROT CAKE. Every dish was incredibly flavorful. If I had to choose, I'd highly recommend the BREAD WITH SWEET POTATO SPREAD and the SWEET PANCAKES. The prices are around 12€ per dish.

Great bistro in the city center. You can get anything to have a great day - delicious breakfast, brunch and dinner with cocktails or lemondes. Or just enjoy a cup of coffee with some amazing sweets they bake here while sitting inside or in their garden, which is full of flowers. Great experience and hospitality!

Very very very good 👍 Superb food 🥑 served here. In a cozy and pretty calm street, a few steps from the overcrowded centrum. The place is an old winery, with a beautiful interior and pleasant outdoor sittings. Food is really cool, tasty and fresh. The people, working here are friendly and helpful. The place is popular, so be advised to come some 10-20 minutes before you get a table. First - add your name in a list

This hidden spot outside of the crowds is a perfect stop to grab coffee and breakfast. Keep in mind that it can be waiting line since they do not take reservations. The staff is really friendly and tries to accommodate everyone as soon as they can. We traveled with a baby/ stroller and they found a table where all of us could fit. The presentation and taste of the plates is really good. I recommend to try the blueberry pancakes.

First of all you need to be lucky to get a table if you arrive during peak hours. So plan accordingly. But its worth it, the toasts are delicious... Like super super nice. The coffee is not that good unfortunately, according to my taste, but everything else is so good that they still get 5 stars from me, a pretty rare thing.

Really nice place that we stopped at for breakfast on the last day of our trip. Really great service and lovely food. My poached eggs were a little underdone for my taste (I normally ask for them well done and forgot). Green tea was really tasty.

Really amazing small bistro in the old town of Prague. They offer a great variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The only critique I have is that the drinks are a little pricey but the taste and presentation makes up for that.

Really lovely spot for brunch. Do get here earlier if possible as there was a long queue for a table (though the line does go quite quickly - we waited about 20 mins). We got a table outside, which was quite nice as it’s located in a pretty, quiet square. Had the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious! Service was good and food came quickly considering how busy they were.

This was a great place to grab some breakfast! We were lucky enough as when we arrived there was plenty of outdoor seating but as we were getting ready to leave, a long line was forming. Service was great and though there was a long line there was no rush from staff for us to leave which was nice! Highly recommended 👌

Very nice brunch place. A bit more high end food and thus prices, but once in a while nice to treat yourself. The eggs benedict with the salmon are out of this world. The coffee was the perfect addition to this dish. Overall recommended, especially if you're willing to pay for quality. For more reviews and pictures, visit @foodpatroll on Instagram 📸📲

Amazing breakfast in Prague. Not local at all - but so good ! Beware there might be a little bit of wait in front as the place is tiny. But once inside you are sure to have the best tasty breakfast and a very attentive service. Pancakes are yummy ! For the Eggs Benedict - make sure to tell that you wish to have salmon and not bacon. You will for sure enjoy your breakfast in this place.

Best breakfast in Prague and possibly in any European country I been to. Everything tasted amazing from the egg benedict with Salmon to the Nutritious bowl and the highlight was the blueberry pancakes which I consider the best pancake I ever had. The location is nice and they have a nice outdoor seating. Very friendly service. Price is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

A great breakfast cafe, just a short distance from the Astronomical Clock. Different types of toasts with and without eggs, pancakes, a variety of delicious coffees and freshly squeezed juices. Also in this place, there is often a continuous queue, which, however, moves rather quickly. Strong recommendation!

Bistro Monk was unique. The location was amazing, probably the most picturesque brunch restaurant i have been in Prague. The options for food were limited, but they were really nice. The pricing was a bit more expensive compared to others in the area, but due to the environment, i am ok with it.

Nice brunch restaurant right in the Old Town! Healthy options like a nourish bowl and roast mushrooms on toast. Excellent coffee, and creative drinks menu. The avocado was odd though, it wasn’t normal smashed avocado but more blended like a sauce or dip. Not bad but just not what we expected!

One of the best breakfasts place I have been to. Dishes are absolutely amazing, prepared from fresh ingredients and look simply delicious and they are also affordable. Staff is professional and nice, making you feel comfortable. For sure it is "must-visit" place on Prague's food map 😃. Usually there is a queue to this place but I have to admit that it is moving quite fast and we haven't been waiting more than 15 minutes for our orders (group of 5) Thank you for those great dishes! For sure I will come back next time I will be in Prague

Definitely the best bistro in Prague with own bakery that serves excellent breakfasts and lunches (offering breakfasts the whole day). It is a hidden gem in the heart of old town with very attentive and knowledgeable staff and lovely interior. You can also enjoy excellent coffee or drinks outside in their cozy garden, which is full of plants. Their poached eggs or Bali breakfast are absolutely amazing, but the whole menu is. Great place to have a romantic brunch with your partner, a meal with friends or just relax with a book. The place could be a good option to work from as well hence they’ve got plugs for each table and the music is not loud there. The prices are above the average, but the quality definitely worth it. Absolutely recommend.

The pictures speak for themselves but we got exactly what we expected (even more elaborate). The food and the place itself was really nice, the terrace is well covered and full of plants which gives it a nice atmosphere. In addition to that the price was fair and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend! Ps: we had the burrito and the avocado toast but they also have a vegan option

(Translated by Google) Negative: The first time I tried to have breakfast here, the line in front of the restaurant was badly organized. One was ignored looking for a place. So we decided to go to a different restaurant the first time we tried it. Positive: The perfect place for a delicious, leisurely breakfast in Prague. Large selection of (vegetarian) food and drinks. The bread (avocado toast with salmon) is delicious and the sweet dishes (pancakes with fresh fruits) were very good. Our drinks were also very tasty. The conditions were all friendly and well attentive. In terms of price completely okay. There are small but clean toilets. Payment in cash or by card possible. Contactless payment possible. Sitting outside and inside is possible. This place is well suited to take photos of the food on Instagram, as it is decorated very nicely - influencers can be found accordingly :) In short: a very good place to have a cozy and elegant breakfast. Preislich völlig in Ordnung.

(Translated by Google) Mega nice cafe in the old town of Prague (Prague 1). Very tasty breakfast and delicious coffee. Super friendly staff. Super nice outside and inside. Average price, comparable to Germany. Would have breakfast here again anytime. (Original) Mega schönes Café in der Altstadt von Prag (Prag 1). Sehr leckeres Frühstück und leckeren Kaffee. Super freundliches Personal. Außen wie innen super schön. Preislich durchschnittlich, vergleichbar mit Deutschland. Würde jederzeit wieder hier frühstücken.

Totally recommended for a brunch or for a healthy lunch! The costumer service is excellent. The guys there are so nice and kind. It is really worth it waiting outside (where they are also offering you a hot tea for free during waiting) in order to take a table. The quality and the taste of the food are perfect. 4 stars in the atmosphere because the place is really small.
