Really nice hotel. Rooms were clean and nice! The breakfast was satisfying. Everything a simple breakfast buffet should have was available. (eggs, bacon, bread slices, cheese, cornflakes, cold meat, jam, orange and apple juice) You can park outside on the other side of the street on weekends, if you can't read the sign (like us). I recommend you to walk to the city, because you can see all the little streets with these wonderful old buildings. And backwards you can choose a different route. It takes around 1h to stroll to the city center.

Very nice and so quite place. The room is clean and has most of the things needed to stay in while spending some time in Prague. The staff is friendly and speak goid English. The breakfast part is the best.

Great location, close to the metro so you can get really quick to downtown. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. TV sucks, but you don't want to stay and watch TV when in Prague. WiFi was ok.

Clean, friendly, convenient, affordable. I surveyed my friends all staying at other hotels and they serve the best breakfast. It was perfect for me, but I like eggs and steamed veggies with fruits, yogurt, salami, cheese, etc. I'm not sure what the other places nearby served. They also had breads, muesli and cereals, no waffles or pancakes though. The dining room and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room. Cleaned every day. The manager and the staff were friendly and helpful, once I got used to the fact that friendly and helpful is different here than it is in The States (they're just not as smiley here, but once you find that out, you discover that they are nice, warm and friendly, just not warm and fuzzy). Manager and desk staff were all very helpful and accommodating. It's close to several good places to eat within walking distance. Not too far from public transit and the Metro stations. Neighborhood seems quite safe. Normal people of all ages walking from place to place at all times of the day and night without issue. Even neighborhood joggers. I'd definitely stay here again. In fact, I've already booked again. Oh yeah, if you need a good place to eat within a short walk, try Restaurace v Case right down from the Holiday Inn and Vysehrad Castle. Really good food, nice atmosphere & nice staff. I had almost everything on their menu and it was all delicious! Great place, good price. Update: I've now stayed here several more times. The place is still very nicely kept up and clean, the breakfast is nice and full of variety and best of all, the entire staff is ALWAYS so helpful and friendly. Always a great experience! Oh, and there's a full service drop off laundry service around the block. They don't speak English, but it all works out. Those people are nice and the service is great there too.

Coming from a 3* hotel in Budapest and 4* hotel in Vienna, Prague was our last stop. As a 4* hotel, Hotel Vysehrad was disappointing. The staff was friendly and rooms are clean and nicely decorated, don't get me wrong. But the hotel itself was old. The shower head must be hand held, the toilet flush button was cracked, the hairdryer was very old that was hardly giving any heat. The breakfast was poor compared to the other hotels we have stayed in Central Europe. And the nearest underground station was a 10 min walk. But if you do stay there, be sure to check out Vysehrad Castle district nearby. It's a beautiful, beautiful place.

The Hotel is a bit way of the center, the next Subway a walk about 10-15mins away. The rooms are ok, there is no room Service and the staff seemed to be a little overstrained with 5 people at once arriving. Surprisingly we also had to pay in advance for the rooms. Advantage was its near the Congress center if the city. It was ok in terms of that we just needed a room to sleep and did not spend to much time in this hotel. The breakfast is in a room in the cellar, the selection of food was average. I would not rent a room there again.

We had a negative experience in this hotel. The air conditioning was not working for the first four days and we got up to 34C in the room. When we report to the manager that the air conditioning was not working, she agressively told us that is working. The second day we discovered that other three guests had the same problem and we went to complain again. The manager promised to fix the AC but she did note exuse herself. The system started to work on the fourth day after four night melting in the room. We asked for a discount and we did not get it. The manager is rude and harassing. The is carpet in every room and it is not clean. The shower is full of mold, the room is a nightmare for an allergic person. It was impossible to control the temperature in the shower. During the shower suddenly water became cold and then super warm. Breakfast is fair but nothing special.

Decent place with a decent budget. Middle of Praha 4, convenient to the Metro Station and to major Business Hubs. Breakfast here is good and hearty. Try it out if not looking for a fancy high budget one.

From May 6th to 9th for attending conference at Prague congress center, we stay here. Room and restroom are clean and the environment around is very quiet. Congress center is so close 5 min walk. Clerk is so kind to borrow an umbrella without our request when it's raining. Hair dryer doesn't work. It is only one flaw.
