Watch out for traps (especially targeting expats, but I fell for one myself yesterday), specifically at the food truck located at this beer garden (close to the stage outside) that offers various fried dishes. I ordered two servings of French fries and one fried cheese. The price was supposed to be around 250 CZK. I paid 405 CZK and was audaciously asked by the young lady if I would give her a tip (for what??). Why did the price almost double? Because they offered me "cheese" on my fries (I said yes), and I also asked for ketchup. They didn't bother to mention that it will double the price. Additionally, fries are already included in the fried cheese, which they won't tell you. It's an overpriced affair for tourists who cannot recognize the price difference elsewhere. Don't let yourself be deceived like this; rather, have a meal somewhere that maintains a certain level of quality.

I don't understand why service always asks tips like a homeless. It is my choice to give tips or no. Why entrance for football is 50czk and there is no services? Typical czech business take money from the customer without services

beautiful location, a great spot to stop after a stroll. prices for beer was insanely cheap 50 Czech koruna for a pint and a bit (£1.64 or $2.25) a must visit place if you love outdoor greenery, great beer and good vibes!

Awesome beer garden with great ambiance. There’s live music or DJs from time to time. Some food trucks with great food options, beer bars and cocktail bars. Very chilled, great to spend an afternoon or to have a drink after work. Toilets nearby and just a few steps away from the park nicest spot to watch the sunset. I’ll be definitely coming back.

Great place under the stairs, open air - tasty burger and sweet potato. Not bad fishb&chips.

Some places don't have card machines, so bring some cash. Great atmosphere

Nice place for drinks. We do not recommend the food. We had Tacos and Nachos. They were not freshly made and simple.

Good atmosphere but not many open fires or heaters so gets cold quickly. Only one tent. Food is good. Drinks are quite pricey. Hold events often.

Very nice beer garden on top of the park. Foods, drinks, free toilet and a live music stage. Prices on par with Praha 1 region. Deposit on beer glasses.

Dropped in for a quick morning coffee.. Staff very friendly... They must be doing something right, because every day was busy... Nice atmosphere about the place... Good for chilling out.

With music from the 2000s and 2010s. The venue is full and lively. With an assortment of local and international bar foods and local Czech beer "pivo" you will enjoy every moment while you are here.

Great place, in a central park, with a view. It's nice that there is a heated terrace amd a tent for cold days & winter. Great Smazeny Syr at the food container. However, there are 2 reasons it gets only 3 stars: 1. In summer or warm weather, only 1 public WC for all that huge crowd is disgusting. Bring extra option (Toi Toi, WC container etc) for the season when you have hundreds of people on the terrace, and a hundred of them in the line for the toilet :/ 2. Service guidelines barely exist. If I go to the same cantainer bar and order rum w coke, sometimes i get Cuba libre, sometimes the rum and the Royal Cola separately, but both charged the same or different, depending on the mood of the server, maybe.. :) anyway, not cool.

Best beer in Prague and super summer place to go to with friends and even kids, coz kids playground is near by. The concerts I don't like, as it gets too noisy and you can't even hear yourself talking, but for others I'm sure, it's enjoyable

Lovely airy, shady open space with tables and a stage. Felt like relaxing and drinking wine in a private forest.

so much beer and food everywhere, perfect for a picnic or a casual stroll. Main attraction is watching the sunset on the hill.

Amazing beer garden in the Praha 3 area with a good view of the surrounding area. The beer here was amazing and they served different types of traditional Czech pours. Atmosphere was lively and had a mix of tourists as well as locals. Great place to kickback after a long, hot day of walking. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

One of the best beer gardens in Prague. Fresh Pilsen beer from a tank perfectly served in a classic glass makes it my top choice on a warm Summer day or night 👍 The service could have been better if the cashiers didn't extort tips right at the time of ordering… 😏 Burger and hotdog were awful 😣 Both minced meet and sausage were half cold with a very low quality buns 🤦‍♂️ Traditional Czech sausage (klobasa) on grill was fine.

Very nice place and kind personal, however the one bar sells kinda very bad beer mix. Like more than half of the beer is ice. That’s just a scam, so don’t go to the smallest bar. All the others are selling fine drinks! (Cider and beer is 60czk)

Nice, friendly place and awesome beer. I would just suggest to stop using plastic cups and just simply improve your processes internally and be fully green! :) ♻️🌍💪

Cold winter's day. Walking in the park, grandson playing in venture playground. All cold, welcome stop for an afternoon drink and chance to warm up. Beer and wine good. Intriguingly also an attached barber shop / hairdresser to which customers adjourned to return drinking, but much more stylish in appearance.

Very nice place with good beer and nice people. A lot of local people seems to be visiting this place which is really nice. We were here during Halloween so they had decorated the entire place with this theme and a lot of pumpkins for instance.

Best beer garden in Prague. Larger playground is adjacent, kids can run free while adults enjoy foods and drink. Many special events taking place here, but it's generally open to all. Winter time fire pits maker it very special.

I used to love this place, but now it has become too expensive and too hipster fro my taste

  • 3/5 Deni P. 2 years ago on Google
It is mostly for people that like to drink alcohol. Would be good to have some more non alcoholic drinks since the kid's playground is just next to it.

Great beer garden at the heart of Vitkov hill. Good beer and live music.

This place is the perfect hangout spot for warm spring and summer evenings. Many places where to sit, various little huts to buy food and drinks from (I recommend their sweet potato fries 😩). There’s open air music, nice bathrooms and a beautiful view around the corner. The prices can be a little high but then again, you’re in the city centre, so it makes sense.

Must see place in Prague especially in spring time. Plenty of stalls with beer, drinks and food. There could be more healthy options in food stalls

I don't know which I loved more, the vibe/atmosphere, the beer/cider, or the fried cheese sandwich!!! Definitely give it a try! The staff all speak English too (which I was worried about beforehand). A mix of locals, families, and expats.

Good beer, good pour, good is available, but nothing special and a bit expensive, but not much - as you would expect in Prague.

👍👍 For me, the best place to eat in Prague. Not only drinks, but also foods arrive at your table on trains. On some tables, trains return to even take empty plates! On top of that - the food is delicious, same goes for drink. The staff is very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place.
