Decided
to
try
this
place
after
missing
out
last
visit.
Place
was
empty
for
a
Sunday,
2
other
tables,
1
couple,
the
other
a
single
gentleman.
We
sat
and
were
greeted
by
a
friendly
host,
ordered
drinks
and
were
shown
menus.
The
menu
items
in
my
opinion
were
carefully
selected
to
keep
the
kitchen
consistent
with
food
items
for
the
beer
and
wine
selections.
Not
to
mix
and
match
too
much.
Although
not
extremely
extensive,
it
was
enough
for
a
place
this
size.
We
started
with
the
rare
beef
and
Cesar
salad
with
chicken.
Having
just
come
from
Vienna,
I
was
used
to
the
hollandaise
style
dressing
and
avocado.
This
style,
although
tasty
was
a
little
on
the
salty
side
for
me.
The
mix
of
peppercorns
and
spice
was
enough,
but
drew
away
from
the
actual
beef
flavor.
The
Cesar
salad
was
delicious.
Chunks
of
chicken,
slivers
of
cheese
and
the
right
amount
of
anchovy
paste
mixed
in
with
the
dressing.
The
romaine
lettuce
was
crisp,
chilled
but
not
cold,
and
extremely
fresh.
For
our
entrees,
we
decided
to
share.
Beef
medallion
with
potatoes
and
some
deep
rich
sauce.
The
pork
tenderloin
medallions
with
yam
puree,
and
the
linguine
with
mushrooms
and
pork.
All
came
out
at
the
same
time
so
no
waiting,
and
I
must
admit
I
was
impressed.
The
beef
was
cooked
to
a
perfect
medium
rare,
seasoned
well
and
delicious.
The
potatoes
were
thick
cut,
fried
but
soft
in
the
middle.
Crispy
on
the
outside
and
tasted
delicious.
A
fork
full
of
steak,
potatoes
and
sauce,
the
perfect
combination.
The
pork,
although
3
pieces
about
2.5"
thick
and
4"
wide.
Enough
to
share.
Also
cooked
perfectly,
medium
with
a
slightly
pink
center
and
well
seasoned.
The
herb
crust
on
the
outside
provided
plenty
of
flavor,
not
overbearing.
The
puree
seasoned
just
right,
with
plenty
of
flavor
to
complement
the
pork.
Last
but
not
least,
the
mushroom
pasta
with
pork.
The
pasta
to
me
tasted
fresh,
not
dried
and
rehydrated.
It
was
not
aldente,
soft
but
firm,
not
soggy
or
mushy.
The
mushroom
cream
sauce
along
with
the
pan
seared
pork
pieces
brought
decent
flavor
to
the
dish.
I
was
looking
for
more
mushroom
taste,
but
the
cream
sauce
was
plenty
to
coat
the
pasta
and
then
some.
The
pork
pieces
were
also
plentiful
and
you
had
both
with
every
fork
full.
I
would
recommend
to
share
with
an
entree.
Finally
desert.
Apple
strudel
and
their
version
of
a
flourless
chocolate
cake.
The
strudel
came
out
warm,
not
hot,
served
with
ice
cream.
The
chocolate
cake,
in
a
ramekin,
was
oven
fresh
and
bubbling.
Also
served
with
ice
cream.
This
round,
I
was
hoping
I
would
favor
the
strudel
over
the
chocolate
cake,
but
the
chocolate
cake
was
by
far
the
better
dessert.
Rich,
and
paired
well
with
the
ice
cream.
Not
overly
sweet,
which
in
my
opinion
is
good
especially
with
whipped
cream
or
ice
cream
which
is
sweet
itself.
Overall
a
great
meal
and
excellent
service.
Would
like
to
see
if
they
are
consistent
on
a
weekday
when
busier.
Adding
this
to
my
favorites
for.my
next
visit.
