If you want to get the best tour in Prague you definitely should choose 100 Spires City Tours. We were on the Free Old Town Tour, and booked the another one to Prague Castle immediately after the excursion ends. Both guides, Vaclav and James, gave lots of interesting information about Prague, history of Czech Republic and Czech culture with humor and passion. Highly recommend!

Great tour with mix of history, trivia, and culture. Guide did a great job of keeping us interested in everything Prague has to offer. I chose the tour because it was only 3 km walking.

The tour guide of my tour was David. David was a really funny and entertaining guy and really took the walking tour to another level! His expertise and broad knowledge of not only Prague but also many other cultures was astonishing. The tour offered many great spots to see over the whole city of Prague. On this tour you also come along many beautiful buildings. Definitely a Must-Do if you are in Prague!

Nico Cortes gave a comprehensive 3 hour tour of the Prague 1 district and was the most knowledgable guide I have had on my walking tours this trip to Europe. You can't go wrong giving them a try. Please tip these guys well.

Look for the red umbrella!!!! Excellent company!!! We did the old town, Jewish quarter and Charles bridge tour with Jan. The tour lasted around 2 1/2 hours so definitely wear comfortable shoes. It was absolutely Incredible though. Jan was so nice and full of knowledge, the tour was really really good, we learnt lots of new things and it was just all round excellent. We also did the ghosts and legends tour in the evening with Kamil. This tour was so much fun and we really really enjoyed it. We got to see the city in a different light and it was incredible!! These tours are absolutely amazing and the people that work here are so nice and full of lots of information. They are definitely worth booking with.

We did two tours with 100 Spires and both were exceptional. We first did the Prague castle tour with James and he was a wealth of knowledge on the history of Prague and the Czech Republic and cleverly showed how that history came to life in the Prague Castle. The next day we did the old city tour and had Kamil as our tour leader. Kamil was not only knowledgeable about Prague and its history and architecture, but was able to add some interesting perspectives as a native of Prague. He also challenged the tour attendees to explore outside of the obvious streets and neighborhoods in order to discover the rest of the city. We took this advice and we’re able to further discover the rest of the city with more confidence. All in all, we highly recommend these guys and we’re happy to support a newer tour company with a more novel approach to doing business. We will be back and will tour with them again.

I did two walking tours in Prague, the Ghost walking tour and Castle walking tour. Both were great! Full of information and the guides were awesome. I can only remember one of the names, James and he was great. This is a great way to meet other travelers and see and learn about the city!

I apparently when searching details on Prague on You Tube followed their channel. Later when I went to Prague, took their Walking Tour as well.. I enrolled for 3 Walking Tours in 2 Consecutive Days! Amazing Time & Fun! Daniel & Nico were our Guides for 3 Tours. Their energy and enthusiasm is amazing.. Really friendly and professional, perfectly on time always and they know the City Really Well.. I had been a great experience and knowledge filled sessions! I recommend anyone visiting Prague, should do these Walking Tours and get to know the City from a different perspective!

**IF YOU NEED A SIGN FOR WHICH TOUR TO BOOK, THIS IS IT!!** James was AMAZING! I 100% believe you cannot find a better tour guide. He’s very good at explaining the history behind the castle, tells you funny stories about past rulers and famous Czech figures, and is very respectful of everyone’s space and time. I loved how he would gives us time to look around as we went through the tour. He communicates what you’ll do on the tour ahead of time and gives you expectations of what you’ll see (that way he’s not running the tour in the middle of all of the people!). My favorite parts of the tour involve James showing the group the interesting architectural acoustics. At many points in the tour, you’ll find out how much fun they had when building the castle. You’ll get incredible quality information and immediately want to book another tour in a different area with this same tour group. Easily worth $20-30. I’m so glad I booked! Thanks, James!

My mother and I signed up for the 10am Old Town tour and the 3pm castle tour, both guided by Kamil (we signed up for the castle tour when we found out he would also be guiding that one). Kamil made us fall in love with Prague, you can feel the love he has for his city. He knows so much about this city, and not in a Google way either. The tour was informative, funny, clear and laced with personal stories (like the induction at the university) and dark humour. A+ tour and tour guide, would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to see Prague the way it's meant to be seen.

When visiting Prague, this tour is an absolute MUST! We had an amazing time with Nico, who has an extraordinary amount of knowledge, information and fun facts (and a great sense of humour)! It makes your Prague experience so much richer and also, you learn a lot about the city, the city's history, the country and the beautiful people who live in Czech. I recommend to take the tour on one of the first days of your visit, even if you only have 1 day in Prague, as you will visit hidden gems, and afterwards know what the musts are to see. 10 out of 10!

I went on the Free Old Town, Jewish Quarter, and Charles Bridge Tour with the tour guide, Jan. It was an amazing tour and very helpful tour guide. He provided so many history facts, restaurant suggestions, and tips to see the city safely and efficiently. I would highly recommend this tour for your first day in Prague to get your bearings of the city or to learn more about the local history.

"You can't see Prague in a day" is what friends told me when I said I had exactly one day to visit Prague. Chris convinced me otherwise as we saw so many places in such little time. We went to see the Old city, jewish quarter tour and it was a lot of fun and Chris/Kris was very knowledgeable about this place. I liked the humor and the questions. It's true that you can't see Prague in one day, but combined with some free roaming around after the tour I think its perfect even if you only have a little bit of time.

We joined the free walking tour for Old Town, Jewish Quarter, and Charles Bridge Tour. Jan is our guide and he is great! Share good detail and information about the sights with us. We enjoyed it very much, learnt about some of the Prague history. Definitely good one compared to having an unprepared self guided tour (just admired the architecture). End of the tour, you can tip the guide.

Our Europe Trip was full of amazing sites and experiences, but the tours we went on with Vaclav were outstanding! He was the best guide we had on our whole trip. The way he wove the history of Prague into recent and current events was masterful. He also revealed some of the many delightful places to explore later on our own and best spots to get local beer and food. He knows the city and surrounding area like the back of his hand and has a passion for sharing it with others. We did 2 tours with him in Prague and one where we went to explore Kutna Hora. Some of the best explorations of our trip! Book your tour now. You'll love it!!

Wonderful tours with cool guides who can talk for hours about history, culture and politics without getting even remotely boring. Went on two tours: Prague Castle with Kamil and Old Town, Jewish Quarter & Charles Bridge with Vaclav. Both guys are great at what they do and have great knowledge of the city and all of the fun facts that make you go "oh wow, that's so cool". I highly recommend going on walking tours with them!

Fabulous tours. I did two tours of Prague today, Prague Castle (including Changing of the Guard) at 11, and Old Town, Jewish Quarter and Charles Bridge at 3. Perfect introduction to Prague, both tour guides (James and David) were excellent and their love for the city shows. Highly recommended.

A review of the Prague Castle and grounds tour (written by my wife, Dr Shoshana Garfield): Kamil was a superb tour guide. There were so many great stories that brought the history alive, plus all the tour hacks like which Castle Gate to use and how to make the tour downhill instead of uphill. He was able to answer random questions and welcomed everyone, including me as a wheelchair user (but able to walk short distances with a cane which made the tour possible). Kamil interspersed the history with personal stories, making the whole experience much more affable, enjoyable, and memorable. We will definitely use this tour company again when we come back for more tours! Thank you! As an aside, Prague pavements are not wheelchair friendly due to ubiquitous, brain-shaking, teeth-rattling cobblestone use.

Nico was amazing. Great tour - relaxed pace - with so many interesting historical facts and stories. I highly recommend booking this tour to start your visit to Prague. The tour guide was great. She was sharing a lot of information (but not too much), responding to questions, cracking jokes from time to time. There was a lot of good energy. The tour’s program is nicely put. Amazing for the first day in Prague, something like an introduction. They recommend places to visit, places to eat etc. In summary, we had a lot of fun and recommend it dearly.

I travelled in a larger group, so I had a double experience, interacting with two guides, Kaca and Nicolas. I can say that both were wonderful, they provided us with tons of information and local stories and they structured the three hours of walking in the morning sun very well. Finally, I must point out that the reward for the guides' effort can be made both in important currency and with the card, which I thought was excellent. I recommend this company, they are professionals and they have a lot of interesting tours. If I were to take a new vacation in Prague, I would still call on them, it's a wonderful city and you can't discover it in just 5 days, as we stayed.

The free walking tour was a fantastic way to kick off our stay in Prague. Kamil was incredibly knowledgeable, and he was able to answer any question with confidence. His knowledge and passion of Prague and the Czech Republic is unmatched. His passion for guiding also showed. He was also able to add a personal touch to everything he showed us over the tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour of all the main attractions in Prague, plus all the small things he showed to us that most tourists would never know about! We would recommend this tour to anyone in Prague! (As well, the recommendations document emailed after the tour with bars, restaurants, and other suggestions s was so helpful!) -Logan and Megan, Canada

Did the tour of Prague Old Town and Charles Bridge with Kamil and was so satisfied!! Kamil has Masters level education and has lived in Prague so he was extremely knowledgable about the history of the sights and also about interesting modern day facts related to Prague. He was very friendly and made sure we were all safe, comfortable and entertained. I truly think the tour was worth it as so much of the beauty of Prague may be hidden from the unknowing eye. You can choose how much you want to tip, but I recommend being as fair as possible with tips as these tours last for hours and are run by people who really know their stuff. They are a small business so it is great to support them in any way!

We had a very interesting and pleasant city tour in Prague with our guide Vaclav. We are really happy and grateful for showing us the most important parts of Praha :) we now know the history behind the attractions, as well as interesting and funny stories. Moreover, we know how to read the astronomical clock :D we recommend the Free Tour to everyone.

Vaclav showed me Prague focusing on the 2nd World War History. He's one of the best story tellers I've ever met, and the tour is for sure on my top 3 best (I've done a couple of them in Europe and South America)! The fact that 100 Spires is run by locals make a HUGE difference on the experience, I cannot recommend any other than them during your time in Prague!

Because of corona, our tour with Vaclav became a private tour. So comparing to another tour we took later (also in Prague but to a different location), we had a more personal experience. He was so nice, making joke, telling stories about the city in a vivid way. The number of stops was just enough to be enjoyable, yet we understand so much deeper about the city. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) I traveled to Prague alone. I ran into this tour on the central square. At first, there was no charge. But when you experience it, you will find it great. It is worth paying for knowledge in the form of a tip. I miss my trip in Prague, it’s great to meet such a leader!

Unbelievable! I didn't know what to expect from booking this Prague city walking tour, but was absolutely blown away! Nico, our tour guide, was brilliant, he was the most friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, funny and all round nice guy that we could have wished for. We took in the beautiful city in a 3 hour tour that was taken at the perfect pace and was the perfect balance of culture, history and pure sightseeing. He gave us plenty of time to ask questions (And knew the answers!) and also take lots of great photos. Can't recommmend highly enough as would give 6 stars if I could! Thank You 100 Spires! <3

Nicco (I hope I spelled his name correctly), was our guide, and he is one of the co-founders. He was AMAZING! Full of fun facts. His delivery of his story telling was phenomenal. You can feel his energy and love for the city. Top notch tour. Pro tip: get the metro app. It makes so easy, because you have to take the metro to the first stop of the tour. The app validates your ticket.

My partner and I did all the free tours with Andrew (castle tour), Kuba (old town tour) and Kamil (ww2 and communism, and ghost legends tour). The presentations were extremely well researched, delivered with great passion, often with a personal touch. Each presenter spoke very fluent English so we had no trouble in understanding the content, they also provided a lot of context which was helpful. Overall, I strongly recommend anyone from the west to join these tours

Vaclav was an incredible host. He made my time in Prague a lot of fun between touring the city as well as the Prague Castle (picture is the view from the grounds of the castle overlooking the city). He's very informative and provides a lot of cool facts about the city you wouldn't know just walking around, while also managing to keep the tour fun and entertaining. My stay in Prague would not have been the same without going on this tour! If you get the chance you should definitely go on the tour and meet Vaclav and his awesome friends. I recommend this tour to everyone I know and definitely plan to meet back up with Vaclav if/when I make my way back to Prague

We used 100 Spires City Tours to do 3 tours of Prague. We did them over 3 days including the Old Town and Jewish quarter with guide James. Then Prague castle and area with Jan and finally the World War 2 tour with Vaclav. None of the tours overlapped, each packed full with information and lots of history amd also fun facts too. I was never bored, guides kept us informed and entertained at all times. So so good, would recommend and well worth giving payment at the end, I learnt so much!!

The perfect tour guides for everything Prague (and beer) related! I traveled to a European city by myself for the first time- I came a long way from the US and while I had a list of things to visit, my tour guide, Vaclav, showed me the highlights of this beautiful city while remaining super friendly and funny. It was a great way to spend a full day, especially if you’re a solo traveler looking to be around kind people and have a great time. Highly recommend choosing Vaclav and his friends for your Prague tour!

This was one of the best city walking tours I have ever been on! Vaclav was so accommodating and gave us some great insights into the city and the culture. He really had such an amazing depth of knowledge about Prague and it was wonderful to share this time with him!

I visited Prague with a friend after months of planning. It was a special trip because I was getting to meet this friend after ages and at a beautiful place like Prague at that. Since both of us really wanted to know what the city is all about and what makes the place what it is today, we decided to get guided. Glad we got to explore Prague through Václav. His humour, knowledge and passion for his city made it one of the best lenses to explore the city through. Thanks to him that most of our time at Prague turned out to be so much better than what we had expected already. Absolutely recommended! Oh, and what we thought would be a one day guided tour ended up with us opting for it through our stay at Prague. You've got to experience it to know how lovely their tour guidance is!

I received a tour from this company in the winter of 2016. The tour guide was great and answered all of our questions professionally and respectfully. There were breaks built into the tour which was nice for bathroom needs. If I were in Prague again, I would do this tour again. Cannot recommend enough.

Prague is no doubt one of the greatest cities to visit in the world, but without having a good walking tour, it could be just another tourist trap. Joining Václav's Free Prague Tour was definitely a great decision I made to kick-off my trip in Czech Republic. I know there are many free tour operators in Prague, but trust me, this one is the best.

We flew in from the east coast of the USA. Exhausted and jet lagged all I wanted to do was sleep, my wife on the other hand was full of energy and wanted to do the “Pub Crawl” tour. So down to the underground with help from an English teacher (from Pittsburgh) we arrived at our destination in downtown Prague. We were immediately greeted by several friendly faces (several are still my FB Friends) and our guide Vaclav. His easy manor, and friendly approach melted away my jet lag and after the third pub I was completely invigorated. I can fully endorse this enterprise and if I could be magically be transported back I would be on a tour with Vaclav at this moment. Please do not miss this once in a lifetime experience

V and his pals are FANTASTIC at what they do with tours!! So friendly, fun, energetic, and easy to talk to. Going on a tour with them is much more than just that. It’s like you’re hanging out with your friends who just so happen to know about every interesting fact and location in Prague. During these difficult time, travel might be hard for many folks...but if you’re able to do it by taking proper precautions and make it out to Prague, I highly suggest taking advantage of this great opportunity to learn about and experience this amazing city from these tour guides. (And the best part, it’s FREE!! Always a good idea to tip your tour guide well 😉)

Prague was my favourite destination on my European holiday and a large reason for that was because of this tour. The guides were very knowledgeable, personable, and didn't just give a historical analysis of each location, but a great explanation of it modern cultural significance. I was so impressed with their free tour, that I paid for an extension for the Castle and Beer tour on the same day. While there are many free tour companies, the small group sizes and charismatic/knowledgeable guides make this one a stand out. While the city is lovely, what often makes a holiday is the people you meet, and these guides made my trip to Prague one to remember

Amazing walking tour - highly recommended. We had a very nice tour with Vaclav. He is entertaining and has great knowledge and insights of the places we visited. I was very impressed with the his knowledge and enthusiasm- he seemed to know everything and encouraged many questions! Vaclav showed us lots interesting places that we would have never known had we not taken his tour. I would definitely recommend. Thanks Vaclav!

I could summarise tours with Vaclav in one word "Fantastic". You always learn something new and you get to explore the beautiful city of Prague without having to worry where you are.

I had the best experience in a tour with Václav’s free tour. We had the tour 4 years ago and we were taken to the nicest places in Prague, told us amazing stories of the city, recommended awesome places to go, and took a coffee with us after the tour. The nicest guide, if you are in Prague, this tour is a must do. I won’t ever forget that tour and that beautiful city. Here’s the proof of the fun we had at John Lennon Wall with Vaclav

Knowledgeable guides and the chance to meet new people in one of the most beautiful cities I've traveled too was a fun and rewarding experience. I'd highly recommend to anyone interested in touring Prague

Jacub was an excellent guide and incredibly knowledgeable. The tour was just shy of three hours but it went by very quickly. He had great stories, tidbits about everything we saw and even more information to share when there were questions from the group. Great itinerary, and from all the free walking tours I’ve done throughout Europe, this is top three, hands down.

We all enjoyed the stories even though it rained, sleeted and snowed during our 2 1/2 hours. There was a lot of walking, which they clearly state, yet the weather that made the stories eerie also made the street slippery. I recommend this tour Thank you Free Real Prague Guides / 100 Spires and, in particular, Kamal

👍👍 This was my first experience with a free walking tour, but I thought Ian was a great guide. He provided important historical context for understanding Prague and Czechia. The tour wasn't dry though, it was entertaining as well as informative. It isn't really free since you pay what you think the tou...

👍 I didn't plan to attend this but for the reception at the hostel who pushed it strongly (that i didn't plan to stay at). Expect to hang out with a bunch of 20 year old tourists from all over the city, so this is not your genuine local experience (and certainly age inappropriate for me). That having...

We went on the Secret Gardens tour and Prague's Jewish Quarter tour with Johanka. We went on the Old Town Prague tour with Mark. Tonight, we went on the Haunted Streets tour with...

👍👍 An amazing food tour of Prague. Thanks to Zach for a wonderful day, his knowledge of history really added to the overall experience walking through the streets of Prague between each food stop. I would highly recommend this tour for your next visit to Prague.
