Absolutely
lovely
place.
Stopped
off
for
something
to
eat
with
the
other
half.
Don't
even
know
where
to
start.
I
can
safely
say
it's
the
cleanest
place
we've
stopped
for
food
in
recent
months
..
not
a
cobweb
or
spec
of
dust
in
sight.
Greeted
with
a
warm
friendly
welcome
by
one
of
the
owners
Kim
I
think
it
was.
Lovely
lady
very
personable
and
definitely
the
hostess
with
the
mostest.
Starters:
we
had
the
goats
cheese
and
the
pate
..
the
goats
cheese
was
lovely
and
light
and
fluffy.
Pate
was
delicious
not
to
strong
and
a
good
bread
to
pate
ratio.
Mains:
We
sampled
the
pies
from
the
specials
menu
I
had
chicken,
ham
hock
and
shallot
pie
and
the
fella
had
haggis
and
beef
..
both
were
very
tasty,
the
pastry
just
melted
in
the
mouth.
I
don't
even
like
haggis
but
I
loved
the
pie.
We
also
tried
the
beef
Sunday
roast
and
the
BBQ
pork
which
came
with
coleslaw,
chips
and
salad.
The
beef
was
lovely
and
tender,
really
well
cooked.
Loved
the
little
bowl
of
side
veg
that
was
brought
out
with
it
..
the
parsnips
and
cauliflower
tasted
devine.
Bbq
pork
cooked
well
again
knife
slid
through
the
pork.
The
coleslaw
was
really
nice
and
the
home
made
chips
were
tasty.
Beautiful
place,
amazing
staff,
tasty
food.
Amazing
afternoon,
looking
forward
to
going
back
and
sampling
the
Autumn
menu
Thanks
for
a
lovely
afternoon
