This is an awesome hidden gem in Pretoria east. I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. The place was clean and staff were friendly. The bathrooms are super clean was very impressed. Now for the best part , the food is absolutely authentic and delicious. I completely forgot to take a photo of the starters but we had (chicken and prawn Rissois) & Chourico. It was absolutely fresh and tasty. This place came recommended and honestly to say I would recommend it as well without a second thought. Thank you for making it a pleasure to dine at your restaurant.

What a delightful venue! Friendly service from the get-go. Food was deliciously perfect. We had the personal attention of owners and the chit chat at our table made us feel valued and respected. Will definitely recommend the venue to all lovers of food and ambiance.

Very welcoming environment! Great place to watch any game, event or to come and catch up with friends. Phenomenal ownership and food! We ordered an appetizer that we wanted to try. We knew it was more of an exotic dish for us but wanted to try. After not having the stomach for it we requested for getting another appetizer. The manager and owner personally came to check in with us. It is very appreciated that they took the time to kindly talk with us. Thanks for accommodating for us! Again, the food here is fantastic!! Come have familiar foods or try something new, both are very worth it.

Great Food, two of my favourites, the perfectly grilled fall off the bone full baby chicken peri peri and probably the best inland seafood pizza available anywhere. great company the owners George, Dave and Colin are always making sure you are happy, Friday nights are by far the best with live music weekly.

Best steak in town, done in the pizza oven with quality olive oil, garlic and a hint of chilli. Service is always great. Highly recommended

Went to this gem for the first time on 9 July 2022 to watch the rugby. What an excellent venue! Really special. Try the chicken liver pizza - you've NEVER had anything like it, I promise! Stunning people, amazing atmosphere! We'll definitely be back - (maybe) leaving the whistles at home!

Came here in the morning as they were the closest place with wifi, as I just wanted a meal and to be able to work for a bit. The waiting staff is friendly and inviting and it's just this establishments luck because the lady who seems to be the manager Caroline spoke rudely and dismissed me as soon as I entered the store. I would not recommend this place if you appreciate being treated well. You will be treated as if you aren't welcome

This Portuguese style bar/restaurant is a hidden local treasure. I have dined here on my own, with friends or with the in-laws and we have had such a good experience each time. Their chicken livers and Peri Peri Portuguese ‘flatty’ all done in pizza ovens are worth the drive. Authentic, friendly and on a Tuesday evening it’s Bingo -that made our whole family participate and stay much longer. Cold drinks, Homestyle Portuguese style food and a relaxed informal atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant with some of the best Portuguese food in Pretoria. Manager and staff are very friendly. Also good to see that the owner is personally involved at the restaurant. Manager was also very accomodating the one time when there was an error with our order. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys Portuguese food. The rissoles are excellent.

We enjoyed an evening out playing bingo and ate the delicious baby chicken and hand cut chips. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was lively. It was a great night out!

Really good pizzas but the baby chicken was a disappointment. I also really wish that they would fix the air-conditioning, the place gets seriously hot inside.

Many entrepreneurs have tried to make this magnificent view of the informal settlement work. The current owners seem to draw a good crowd, although their chouricio snacks had me running away for a bathroom. I'll keep coming back for the view and cheap beer, but will take a stronger stomach for the kitchen which makes chicken livers as snacks.

The name of this bar made us hesitant, but we were very surprised to have some really good food and well priced beers. Location is a bit unusual, but it was quiet and pleasant altogether. Will be joining again after the next round of golf at Wingate!
