Celebrated my sister's 21st birthday this past weekend. It was such a wonderful experience. Dino made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The service is great and everyone made all 23 of us feel welcome. The food was great.They have the best baklava .

This restaurant has great service and nice food. I had the lamb shank, even though it was delicious and the meat fell off the bone, I felt the sauce was over powering and on that note I have had better shanks. The carrots on the plate were hard so I did not eat them. Everyone else enjoyed their food too and we all had a good time.

Prosopa is a wonderful restaurant with great food and n very romantic atmosphere. The fairy lights give the setting a magical feeling. The staff is very friendly and professional and regularly check up if everything is okay. The food is truly out of this world and their wine selection is top notch. I would definitely recommend Prosopa to anyone that wants to have a special night out.

I absolutely love the new look Prosopa! It's modern, but very inviting and cozy. The food was amazing... Literally the first time in my life that I had aubergine that I liked (okay, loved!). The ribeye steak was done to perfection, and the Crème Brûlée was some of the best I've had. Patron Chef Dino is friendly, fun and attentive, and the waiters were efficient and welcoming. Did I mentioned that the prices were lower than I expected for food of this caliber? I'll stop gushing. Just visit Prosopa!

Fine dining at its best. Had such a lovely evening at this wonderful restaurant as a graduation celebration. Started off with the vegetarian platter and boy was I taken back by good it was. The aubergines especially are just mouthwatering. Went on to have the Smoked Prawn Tagliatelle and it was honestly just heaven in my mouth!! Fantastic food, top notch service, a wonderful owner/manager and beautifully set up. An ideal spot to treat your significant other!

A well decorated Greek restaurant with friendly helpful staff. There is a fireplace in the center making it nice and cosy for the coming winter time. The vegetarian platter was delicious and filling. Go do something different, go Greek!

First visit to Prosopa. We did not make a reservation but the waiter could help us to a table outside. Just a pity one could not see the menu properly under the poor lighting. There were a number of empty tables that had the reserved sign on but no one pitched the whole evening. We had a large variety of foods off the menu. The highlight was the aubergine. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal but I have definitely had way better prawns than those served. The halloumi was also average. The wine prices were "breathtaking"! Very, very pricey and some were absolutely unaffordable. That was probably the main disappointment of the evening. Never saw the owner at all. Not sure if I'll be back. Still waiting for a Greek Restaurant that deserves the 5 stars.

Waiters are friendly, the food AMAZING and the managers are delightful. We had a fabulous last dinner for Restaurant Week 2022 and wil for sure be returning again.

My first time here, it was really great the food was amazing ! And the desert speaks for itself

Reserved a table for two for a romantic dinner. On arrival there was a private function with a live band celebrating a graduation. Which is fine if I would've been informed. The music was so loud that we could hardly hear each other or the waitron. The waiter could not tell how long the music would continue. We decided to have a drink in the hope that the music would at least be turned down as background music. However the party got louder. There was no beer on tap. When I asked for options Windhoek Light was part of the selection. I was surprised as I thought the brand was not available anymore, so I ordered it. The professional waiter poured it and when I looked at the bottle it has expired in August 2022. On requesting to see Dino, one of the other managers approached our table. He was very apologetic about the situation and said that the party "was only organized yesterday" (which I don't believe). But still on confirming our reservation this morning we were not informed. My advice... if you have a whole section of your restaurant booked out with a live band, either informed your clients or close it to the rest of the public. The waiter was good, the manager acted professional but unfortunately we had to leave after our drinks... as did the tables either side of us. We did make another reservation in the hope to find a more upper class experience and enjoy the good food.

Celebrated both mine and my boyfriend's birthdays (which is just 8 days apart) at this charming greek restaurant over the weekend. The experience was nothing short of royal treatment, complete with perfect cocktails and a fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant's menu offered an excellent variety of dishes at incredibly reasonable prices. Nico, our server, went above and beyond to make our celebration special by arranging complimentary drinks at the end of the night for both of us, making it even more special. The highlights of the evening were definitely the brinjal starter and the Greek milk tart. We can't wait to return for another memorable evening!

Edwin was our waiter,excellent service,attention to detail. The food was delicious and the wine recommendations made every single meal better. The atmosphere was chilled,a bit of an older crowd on a Saturday morning and a bit quieter than most places in sandton but thats actually why this is a hidden gem especially if you want to have an amazing first date or great conversations with friends! Also an added bonus is the great parking!

Absolutely loved it. The atmosphere, friendly service and quality, great tasting food is unbeatable. This is definitely a repeat visit restaurant for us. My only gripe is the cheesecake desert 🏜️. It is absolutely delicious, just overpriced for my pocket for the size served. Other than that, highly recommended!!

Everything was great, Starters, Mains and dessert. The starters I feel was great with the correct portion size, not being too big to spoil the mains, but still tasty. The mains, well, it was great. I had the rib eye steak special and was up there with the best. I normally take the steak, eating at a new restaurant, as a gauge to compare against what I had previously at other places, and this was great. I will definitely be back ASAP. The service was great, friendly and efficient. Ok yes we received an aubergine snack for the table... I never even conceived that an aubergine could taste THAT good! Wow

We found Prosopa very entertaining and interesting. The decor allows for intimate nooks where tables can enjoy private dining without a hint of Covid concerns. I can recommend the tapas platter for two or four, best Mediterranean titbits in Pretoria. Come hungry, here is great food at a reasonable price.

Fantastic service. Food hot when it arrived at table. Delicious burger with herbs within the patty. Patty was succulent. Home made bun. Atmosphere of restaurant great, relaxing and love the neighborhood it's situated within.

My BF and I went to Prosopa for dinner on Thurs, 12 August 2021 to celebrate my birthday. The host or the man who received us at the door was not friendly at all. I did, however, like that you can make a booking beforehand so that your table is reserved. The ambience has low lights to achieve that romantic and intimate set-up. I loved the food and of course the coktails were great. I would definitely visit it again. The waiter was friendly and he kept on suggesting new cocktails for me to try. And he was kind enough to offer us one glass of champagne each since it was my birthday.

Eating at Prosopa is such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, like visiting family. The food always meets expectations if not above. The lockdown menu, for when you can't make it to the restaurant is phenomenal, delivered on time, piping hot and the food is the same quality of the restaurant if not slightly better. Thanks Christine and Dino, for making a birthday celebration memorable.
