Had dinner at this establishment lastnight and was very impressed with the service. We were served complimentary bread rolls. I didn't know what to order and the waiter asked if he could create a platter for us, I agreed and was surprised with ribs, chicken wings, chips and veggies. The portion size was great and I had ribs for breakfast and lunch today

What a great evening🤗 The food was absolutely the best. Lovely fresh bread while waiting for the food. I had lamb chops medium - perfectly cooked with the right amount of fat on each chop. The portion was more than enough. I am scared to have mash at a restaurant, but with the pepper sauce it was perfect. Veggies lovely an crunchy. My daughter had fillet - melt in the mouth. As a side the most delicious French crispy onion rings. Our waiter Wilson was a kind attentive man and we wanted for nothing please share with him this review. The service was exceptionally fast.

We went to Forti for a celebration dinner and were looking forward to the food based on the reviews. The service was excellent as we had an attentive and friendly waiter. However we were greatly disappointed by the food. The food looks amazing but was lacking in flavour. We had the hot soup to start which had little effort put in, the wings were okay and the oysters were great. For mains we had the fish special which was kingship that also lacked flavour, the ravioli lacked seasoning but the lamb chops were a redeeming factor.

What an amazing dining experience! Great service from the staff at Forti - special shout out to Mr Catz and Mark. Great wine pairings to the food (word of warning - you’re gonna get LIT). I’ve posted the food as well as what wine it was paired with. I wish I was a food critic so I could go into every dish but alas, just know that this is a good way to see the range in food that is on offer. I personally preferred the gnocchi in the Gorgonzola sauce more than the Napolitana. Reservations in advance are essential to secure a good table. I would also recommend arriving earlier, we had a 7PM reservation and had to rush through the last few courses because of time. They also have the most amazing artworks in the restaurant - elegant ambiance. The place was quite packed (hence reservations!). I loved the experience, will definitely be back!

I'm gonna start by saying, the view is absolutely beautiful. So the price of the food makes sense, cos you're also paying for the view. I've had not so good experiences with seafood pasta, but I gave it a try and it was the best I have ever had. Perfect spice, sauce, presentation, everything njhe. The 4 star is for the ribs not falling off the bone, but overall this restaurant has won my heart. Bravo👏👏👏

Wow....great experience and wonderful food. Had my 40th Birthday dinner there and it was soooo special. Will be a regular from now...especially in summer for sunset cocktails

This is a very nice Italian restaurant with all the best pizzas and pastas. For the not so loving fan of that, there is also a whole section with all the best cuts of steak. The food was good and the staff very friendly. The owner even came around to check if everything was in order. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed the dining experience. Decor is pleasant with well spaced seating. House salad is particularly good. Their Lumaconi pasta is absolutely delicious. Good service, nice background music. All around well worth the visit.

Lovely evening out with my husband. However, for a fine dining restaurant one would expect to see them using some of the finest possible ingredients and although the bread was fresh, the margarine spread that accompanied it, was a complete let down. Even an ordinary family restaurant serves butter with breakfast toast, so I am curious why a reputable restaurant like this, would opt for anything less. I ordered the seared salmon and stirfry vegetables with a lemon butter caper sauce and sadly the sauce was not made with butter either. In fact, the sauce was completely split. Moving on to the restrooms, I could not find anything to dry my hands with, after using the facilities and the basin I used was loose/unstable. A little bit of maintenance and attention to detail will definitely go a long way, especially in times like these. All in all, our waiter was very friendly and the food was good, but will we come back for more? Doubtful.

Thanks for the exstra effort when I reserved and just said its our anniversary. It was our 14th wedding anniversary.

Had an amazing experience here, the service was great. Our waiter Ntate Aubrey, what a wonderful and kind man. The managers come around and check if you’re okay , we even received a mini history lesson about Forti. The food was absolutely delicious, worth every cent. Loved the ambiance of the place as well

The food was delicious and tasty, very surprising. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The T-Bone was tender and perfectly cooked, a perfect medium rare. The potatoe side was nice and crispy. The small side salad was quite a lot once I put it in the plate. The prices were very reasonable

This was my first visit to Forti. We ordered the fillet steak for R700 for two people and I can say without a doubt, it was worth every cent. I have never in my life tasted such wonderfully prepared food. This was an oral orgasm! And our waiter, Joseph, gave us absolute 5 star service. We will be back and happy to spend R700 on a fillet steak again! Well done to the Forti team!

An elegant restaurant & great atmosphere. Very cosy. A bit pricey on some items, but they are very generous with their servings. Great place for pictures for your significant other

Amazing. The food is delicious. I had the Mussels for starter, kingklip for main and lava cake for dessert. That starter was a meal on its own and welldone to the chefs for that deliciouscreamy sauce. The portions are big and the food is really tasty. The gin is just as good.

OMG... one of the best restaurants ever... Humphrey is something else I tell you... his service is out of this world... The manager is also helpful and friendly... I love how it feels like home... I'm definitely going back again soon. Did I mention that they make the best cabbage... yes cabbage... I love it

We were part of an end of year function here at Forti, and I am speechless! From being greeted by the door to friendly smiles all the way round feeling right at home everything was spectacular! Atmosphere - Fine dining to the Tee Service - Fast and on the ball Staff - Super friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming Food - I wish I made more money to hire the chef myself! Phenomenal! Overall Experience - 10/10 Would I recommend? - 100% yes
