😐 Maybe it’s because I’m not the biggest fan of Asian cuisine, but I didn’t find anything special about the food. It was good, yes, but nothing that would make me return for more. Also, the prices were really really high, even for Karlin I would say. However, service was great, very friendly and nice... Also, the prices were really really high, even for Karlin I would say. However, service was great, very friendly and nice staff. The interior looks better than most Asian bistros/restaurants in Prague. Would come back again, but the food was too average.

Good place to try Cantonese food if you're curious. The chef seems to be an enthusiast and the food reflects it. Though it's not as authentic as one would expect. More like fancy Cantonese food for western audience. Prices seem a bit high. 3 dim sum pieces for 5 bucks is a bit much. The duck and roast pork are tasty for a hefty price. The place itself feels very contemporary and neat. As someone who grew up eating Cantonese food (love you grandma) I have to say though, that neatness together with higher prices makes it hard for me to relate to what is essentially affordable comfort food back home. Well, at least the hanging ducks feel nostalgic.

What a playful place for your senses. Been here over lunch and must admit it was busy. Not only with people but in a sense that this place is full of life. Food was top, at least to my liking. But what was definitely the cherry on top? Those admirably exotic and fully delicious deserts. Staff attentive enough, prices slightly higher but justified.

Amazing experience, the staff was so lovely and excellent service. Each dish was very thought through, taste and composition wise. The pork belly with watermelon was the bomb!! Also ceviche and shallots was so delicious! The atmosphere is nice and and relaxing, with ambient music in the background. Loved it!! 😍

food is so incredibly tasty!!! I was happily surprised. From our group the comments tho were that it is a bit expensive and small portions. But that was the best shrimp salada I ever had, and all the other plates look delicious. I'll be back

Ordered 2 sets of duck leg takeaway and ended up plucking leftover duck feathers... Tasty duck legs, but a very unpleasant plucking experience... Photo is just tip of the iceberg as there were more duck feathers...

Born and bred Hong Konger here. I did come here with an expectation the place serves fusion food. However, the items on the menu are remotely having any authentic elements of Hong Kong food except for the dim sum part. Found it weird to see “Cantonese style duck” on the menu - when it looks like more of a Peking duck dish. Food tasted just okay and does not justify its price tag. Disappointed our city’s great food got an underwhelming representation here.

We had high expectations of this place but it disappointed thoroughly. At first it all seemed fine, we got our starters fairly quickly and they were ok. But mains were a disaster. We waited for more than an hour, no one communicated that there would be such a delay. After we pressed them explanation was they had multiple groups and couldn’t prepare food in that volume. This, however, wasn’t true, unless you count 3 tables of 6 as big groups. Fact is the place is terribly understaffed, not able to serve even less than half of their capacity. In the end mains were less than mediocre, soggy, disappointing. To put it simply, you wait for over an hour without being told so for less than an average meal that you pay more than average price for. A hard no.

Both the duck and the pork were excellent and tender. Service was really friendly. They noticed we share our food so they brought 2 spoons for the dessert.

The meal I enjoyed the most in Prague, highly recommend it! The duck (their specialty) was delicious, and all the other dishes were very good as well. Even the simple fried rice was incredible, probably the best I've had, so definitely order it as your side dish.

Great and tasty, nicely served food. I loved the ginger lemonade - comes in a big glass and is really delicious! The space itself is modern and clean, and the staff professional. Great place for a lunch with colleagues or dinner for two!

Such a great place in a relax area in Prague! If you want to go out from the tourist area and be relax, enjoy a good beer, wine and solid food is the go to place!!! We enjoyed the Asian concept elevated in terms of presentation, ingredients and flavor!!! Staff super friendly and with good level of English. Next time that we will be in Prague is a must to come back and visits this place.

Delicious Chinese fusion food. We had the crispy duck salad, bao buns, eggplant & tofu, and short rib. Our favorite was definitely the duck salad but all the food had great taste and quality! The service was also very friendly and fast. Thanks for a great dinner!

Beautiful concept of food sharing, crab, brisket and rib were perfect. Special mention must go to the crab, which was one of the best I've ever had. Service was also great, we were asked several times if everything was ok

We had a delicious dinner with good wine, the only negative note is that, when we asked for the check, the waiter didn’t ask “would you like to leave a tip?” he asked “how much tip do you want to leave, 10, 15, 20%?” Maybe he forgot that tipping is optional. We meant to leave a tip anyway and we did, but being told to do so rather than asked, with examples of the % as well, was quite rude. So room for improvement on the service side, but the food was delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hong Kong Karlin and was blown away by the delicious Cantonese duck that was served. The presentation of the dish was beautiful and the flavor was exceptional. The restaurant itself is a very nice place to have a business or team lunch. The staff is kind and helpful, and they all speak English fluently, which made communication easy. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hong Kong Karlin and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

As a Chinese, I can say that it is not authentic Hong Kong or Chinese restaurant or food. None of the staff speaks Chinese or Cantonese. Food taste is OK, more Europe - adapted Asian taste. However, already living in Europe for 12 years, it is my first time in Europe to experience so limited quantities in each dish yet with (very) high prices in an Asian-look restaurant.

Unfriendly poor service, it was expensive in total thinking of quality. Dumplings taste normal (for me as Japanese it taste like frozen ones), shrimp tempura was crispy and nice but shrimps were small. Black paper svičková was too salty and meat was not really well done. Asparagus was really tasty.

2 of 3 main courses were delicious (Udon noodles and duck with fried rice) . The calamari were a bit dull though and the tasteless "puffed" noodles didn't help it much. The waiter nearly mixed up our order for a starter and tried to blame it on us, while the truth is that different people waiting the same table just confuses the customer and obviously the staff too. Otherwise very stylish interior with an Asian touch, nice staff and fast service and food. Higher price category for Czech Republic. Would come back though. A tip to try: their coriander/lime/lichi drink is new, awesome and refreshing, also without alcohol.

I love this bistro especially because of the atmosphere and design. It is so original with the wooden cladding with graphic of birds, high ceilings and industrial lighting. The asian fusion food on the regular menu is very tasty and fresh, I especially like the beef with mango and spinach. Service is very fast even during busy lunchtime, when the restaurant is packed with people. They do not take reservations during lunch, so be prepared to wait for a few minutes. The only problem I noticed recently is decreasing quality of lunch menu meals. Often it is just rice with a lot of meat and sauce, almost no vegetables - it seems like replacing quality by big portions. I am missing some vegetarian meals with a lot of vegetables.

Food was alright. Drinks were great. Not sure if we’d come back again.
