The manager and crew were awesome. Great first hot wiener experience. I'm not a fan of raw onions but went with the flow and got it all the way anyways. Delicious! Had a coffee milk, too. Thanks for the hospitality.

Not entirely sure where to begin. the only words i can say are this place is fantastic. a quick in and out. it was our first time and oh boy. had two hotdogs all dressed. insane delicious, had a chili, insanely flavourful and delicious. i highly recommend this place if you ever near the area

I seriously cannot recommend this place highly enough. I found myself in providence for the day so I figured I’d try something unique. Almost every single food recommendation list had this restaurant on it, and I can see why. The service was amazing, the food is made fresh, the atmosphere is joyful, and it’s cheap! If you come you have to get a wiener ‘all the way.’ I like raw onions that much but it was perfect. If I’m ever in Rhode Island again, I will make it a point to stop by.

I’ve been coming here since I was like 5 years old , I’m in my 40’s now and it’s still one of my go to spots. I grew up in this neighborhood, and for almost 40 years this place has been a staple in this state. Most out of state visitors are told to try it here (3 all the way and a coffee milk) . If you haven’t had this food, make the trip. If your visiting from out of state … stop in here to eat and see what we as Rhode Islanders experience on the daily. They have great food, and great people that have worked here for decades. Everyone is is a character here. The Wennies are where it’s at , but the burgers and grilled cheese are fire too. If your in town , near by, or looking for something new to experience, stop here and eat, especially late night .

My first time i went there,a gent that was sitting relaxing after the big push for lunch noticed we were in awe of the place and took care of us explaining the dogs and the drinks. Well always remember him showing us hospitality that's hardly seen these days. True customer service and care. Awesome

I just finished two “all the way” of the finest all natural casing hot wieners Providence has to offer - the holy grail of hot wieners- systems Olneyville. The best hot wieners - period. Folks, I sat at the counter while these professionals worked. I had to ask twice but his name is Sean and after he cooked single burger the man scraped down that griddle till it was shinier than my counter. He cleaned that grill till it was spotless. Normal places don’t do that. This place is the real deal you should come on down and support it.

When I'm down in Providence I never miss an opportunity to stop at Olneyville N.Y. System. Always get the same thing: 2 gaggers "all the way" and a coffee milk. Occasionally I get French fries but the star here are the hot dogs. I like that they're open late and the food is always served up hot and fresh. The staff there are wonderful and are always super friendly and kind. The meatsauce, onion, and celery salt combo might not be everyone's thing but you gotta try it.

We were passing thru, and decided to give this place a try. This place seems like it’s been in business for a long time. Their hot dogs are okay, it’s not for me. It has a strong mustard and onion flavour. Overall the staff was friendly and service was fast

Almost 5 stars for a hot weiner place... yes and here's why. It's authentic. The weiners all the way hit just right. At first I was like it needs something but all it needs is coffee milk. Don't try to separate them it's like food yin and yang. Accept perfection as it's offered. The only thing is I prefer a bit more of a snap when I bite into a weiner but it's way above average. Get two all the way and you can thank me later.

Sup peeps. I came to this joint on my recent trip to the New England area. I just so happened to stumble upon this wonderful gem not knowing that it was a landmark in the area. Maaaannnnn let me tell you, these are some of the finest hot wieners I've consumed. I got 2 wieners w/a coffee milk. The coffee milk is soooo good. Tastes like a light (flavor, not calories) café con leche w/a malty finish. If you like this sort of thing get the coffee milk. The weiners were topped w/raw onions, mustard, and cooked beef. The wieners were simple, succulent, HOT and FRESH, and absolutely delicious. They did NOT disappoint.

The staff are really really friendly! The hot dogs are served on steamed buns and topped with mustard and onion. The onions did not taste like anything though. The quality of the hot dogs is top-notch. The interior of the restaurant is simple and unassuming. The no-frills setting adds to the charm of the experience, giving the impression that you're stepping back in time to a simpler era. They’re also famous for their coffee milk!! It was rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and coffee flavor.

I like eating the speciality favorite food of the area when I travel. This should not have been it. Trip Advisor raved over the great hot dogs so we drove from Connecticut to Rhode Island to look around and try their famous hot dog and coffee milk drink. I'm from Chi-Town and this sir was no hot dog. It was a skinny hot dog 🌭 you felt sad that the hot never had a chance to grow up to its full potential, it was topped with which should have been meat sauce. The meat sauce was fine ground beef on top of the hot dog with finely chopped slightly grilled onions. I thought the meat sauce would have been with says a little sauce nitvyhe meat was considered as a sauce on the hot dog. The extremely thin fries were decent. They were a little too thin than I would have preferred. I gave it a thumbs down to a 3 star at best. The coffee milk. What was that? It was different but I would never get it again. I was doubled disappointed from a Chicagoan's perspective. Come to Chicago and get a Maxwell Street Chicago Dog and don't forget the Portillos Chocolate Cake Shake. 😋

This place is truly one of a kind! If you like onions and mustard, you should order 2 hot weiner's and a coffee milk! The coffee milk was recommended by one of the employees/owners and did NOT disappoint. It was very different and tasty and is something you definitely should at least give a try. The place is also very clean with a small town, friendly vibe. It also becomes immediately apparent that it's a local favorite spot and also a hot spot for celebrity tourists!

Recently ordered a to go order. These guys are FAST. Granted, I ordered at 10PM and was in a super big rush to eat something. I ordered 6 hot wieners and 2 large fries. Boom, done in 5 minutes. Service was nice and quick - just what I needed. The interior screamed "no frills", which I like. Being from out of state, I felt I really NEEDED to try these out. Very glad that I did. I grew up on hot dogs - now I wish I grew up with these hot wieners. The beef and onions on top really compliment the wiener. The fries were hot and perfectly crispy. I'm hoping my next stop in RI I can sit down and eat inside, but ordering to go seems just as good!

Old school looking Diner style. Friendly staff attentive. Quick service and classic style items. Tried the Fries with cheese,Hot Dog and a steak & cheese. Very tasty, items were priced well for the value. Never had celery salt, savoring dog. Definitely recommend worthy trying.

5 Star experience for my first time having THE BEST HOT DOGS in Providence. I had take out there. I wish I had more time to absorb the dining Atmosphere.🌭🍔🍟 Ibhad the hot dogs the French Fries.and hamburger..yes I had it all and the food was amazing as well as the staff. I highly Recommend that you go and have the best 🌭🍔🍟 around. Its Rhode Island food around.

Best meal I have ever eaten in the US at this timeless restaurant. The signature Rhode Island “hot wieners” are amazing - perfect balance of taste that only classic institutions like this can deliver. Wash it down with a pint of coffee milk and it really hits the spot. Owner is super friendly and efficient - all round great guy. Must try - worth the long walk into Olneyville for a taste. Would give 6 stars if I could.

While visiting Providence, I came across the need to try a hot wiener. After much research, I came across Olneyville NY System. You need to go here, and get it All the way! It was delicious. I got the (2) hot Weiner deluxe meal. Comes with fries. It was delicious! I WILL BE BACK!

Such a cool little hole in the wall place. You can watch the weiners being cooked. Not from around here, we weren't sure what to order, but the fellas there were very helpful. What is called sauce here we would call chili in the south. It's a flavor unique to Rhode Island and definitely worth a try!!

If you like hot weiners, this is the place to get them. Best in the state.

Guy Fieri has visited here and said they have “killa weiners “. Yes folks…hot weenies…and they are ADDICTIVE. This place is different so don’t misinterpret the guys who work there as being rude. Rememba!! This is Rhode Island!! People are not shy around here and they drink coffee milk and drive “Cawz “. You will be impressed by their hot weenie-making talents as they “line ‘em up” their arm and crank ‘em out at top speed. Ask for them “all the way”…and don’t you dare ask for ketchup!! Hahahahha. This place is a long time favorite of mine (and many other people too). The guys that work there look like a bunch of ex cons so don’t be intimidated either. They’re good people. Great place!! A must visit while in Olneyville, Rhode Island! (PROVIDENCE). They seem to have some staffing issues thou. This will change in time! Never ask for ketchup with your weinners please 🙏!! Fair prices! Order your French fries 🍟 first....then your coffee milk 🥛...then your weinners (in that order) the fries take some time; where as the weinners are made to order but arrive VERY quickly along w/ the coffee 🥛milk. Just get the weinner special 😉!! ❤️ this place! Been coming here since the 80's (High School) & will continue to do so! (I travel 48 miles 1-way & it's worth it 👌 every time) !!😋

Traveled from Florida to RI and my best friend has bragged about the hot weiners for as long as I can remember. Oh and the coffee milk! It was as amazing as expected. The staff was amazing. The young man took an order from 7 people without writing a thing down and didn't mess up one thing! He repeated it back to us without issue! I was super impressed!! Love the diner feel too!

Legendary place famous for their New York system sandwich. Their staff are very fun and they have some really nice signs all over the place. Make sure to try the coffee milk when you visit!

Stopped by while bringing friends visiting from the West coast out for a mini-food tour of the area, and was greeted by Nick and George--- Incredible hospitality and they made the whole experience feel like stepping into a friend's house for a bite. The RI hot weiners, fries, and coffee milk were excellent as always, and Nick mixed up an extra plate of fries with ketchup and vinegar to demostrate how the locals eat their fries (on the house, too!). Seriously, if you haven't had stopped by yet, don't hesitate--- It's well worth a visit!

The only place worth getting hot wieners in Providence. The original is the best! The guys here are great too! Super entertaining. Great banter amongst the staff. Really makes you feel comfortable and at home. Classic menu offering burger, fries, clubs, and if course Coffee Milk. If you are from out of town the coffee milk is a must! I think it may even be the state drink.

Every time I come here I have once in a lifetime experiences and memories!! Check out the pics… the method of transportation is outstanding! The slingshot is one of many from Slingshot Queen in Warwick on East Avenue near the RI Mall. Another bucket list item completed … lol. Now that I’m addicted to driving them!
