Not sure why IHOP still exists, I understand the Restaurent style but their food quality is way below average , only bright side is server, she was nice with us.

I spent 15.99 on the meal pictured - a very measley handful of unsalted potatoes, overcooked eggs, and two very thin pieces of bacon with a slice of French toast. Absolutely ridiculous price for the amount of food provided. The French toast was good, but the rest was bland and unseasoned and abhorrently over-priced. There are a multitude of small mom-and-pop breakfast places in Providence. I urge you to give them your patronage, where you'll receive value and flavor versus unseasoned corporate shrinkflation.

I traveled all the way down to Rhode Island. To take my son out for lunch. He got a kids meal that looked good and was good for him. But I was looking forward for the biscuit and sausage gravy. But found out you guys don't serve them mixed anymore. It broke my heart. At least my son enjoyed his meal.

IHOP was a great experience! The service was low staff at first but our waiter was great! The food came and it was really good too. The bathrooms were not recommended but everything else was good. I ordered the cheesecake pancakes and cage free veggie egg white omelette. I highly recommend the pancakes and the omelette was okay.

It was okay the food was fair but my daughter ordered poached eggs and they came half cooked and snotty looking it was her birthday so they gave her a birthday breakfast Sunday after we all ate and was too full to eat anything else LOL but the waiter was very nice good service from him well kind of not because he forgot toast and coffee and s*** but anyways e h right eh lol better luck next time?

Honestly I wish I could give them NO STARS!!! I ordered 2 fisherman's platters which were supposed to have 2 pieces of fish, 5 shrimp, and fries with tartar and cocktail sauces, 2 chocolate milks, a Mac n cheese (which only contained about enough for 5 bites had it actually been edible), and a large mango iced tea. What I got was completely inedible (hard as a rock and ice cold) and barely enough to feed a baby bird. I only had one piece of fish the size of a chicken nugget, 1 piece of shrimp that was still Grey, about 5 bites of ice cold mac n cheese where the cheese wasn't even incorporated or melted. A small plain iced tea and one chocolate milk. I called the restaurant to complain and the manager I spoke with got very belligerent and yelled and screamed at me and refused to do anything. I was very calm when I first spoke with the female manager until she became belligerent and started yelling and name-calling. It was so horrible that my normally calm husband who never raises his voice actually started yelling back at the lady for disrespecting me and saying that it "wasn't her problem" and she "couldn't do anything." I've never had a horrible experience like that from this location but I haven't been there since before the pandemic. I couldn't believe my experience. I will never go back. I attempted to call corporate but they were closed at 4pm est on a Friday. I don't know why during a weekend dinner rush they'd be closed but again very displeased with the whole experience. I definitely don't recommend going here.

We arrived around 1am, because it was one of the only places nearby that was open and served food. Once we arrived, we noticed there was a bit of a queue and no one to be seen to host. But we were not in a rush, so we decided to wait it out. After 10+ minutes of waiting, a server who looked a bit stressed came over and told us he’s really busy. I don’t think they were expecting such a rush at that time! But we told him we were glad to wait and that he could take his time with us. So he sat us down. Every time he interacted with us I didn’t feel rushed. He took his time and even gave us his recommendations for our breakfast order. Even though he was the only one serving the whole restaurant, I felt as though the service was amazing given the circumstances. It was overall a pleasant experience with a solid breakfast.

This is the nastiest IHOP I've been here 3 times with my wife and there's always a problem with the workers they are very rude and slow. Tonight the 1st both had butter 🧈 all over the seats we moved to the 2nd table and it had mashed potatoes on the seats the 3rd table out silverware was dirty asked for new ones those was just as dirty like they didn't wash em they just rinsed them off with we finally asked for plastic ones but by the time Victoria "the server" got them our food was cold we took a few bites paid for the meals left an will NEVER GO BACK TO THE ONE IN PROV AGAIN. I knew I should have just gone to Denny's real talk. Thanks Victoria for showing us to never go back again she has to be one of the worst servers there. She told me the spoon 🥄 is clean smh my daughter washes dishes better and she's only 11

Went here with my significant partner for breakfast and had a great waiter with a great vibe. Service was great and the vibe too. Food is amazing as always.

I gotta say, I would HOP to another location. I have been here 4 times and each time Satan himself has decided to visit my posterior. Now maybe you think it's the meal I ordered, but I have tested this theory by ordering different meals. The only common denominator is this IHOP. The staff are super nice and amazing, they are quick with a joke and their service. The location itself is pretty clean, I just think they have it out for me.

I sat at the counter for breakfast. I was ignored 415 minutes. 2 workers came and sat next to me. And finally, a server came greeted them took their order. And then I had to say something to get his attention. I asked to have biscuits and gravy instead of pancakes as a side. I received the biscuits but no gravy. The food tasted good. The server was apologetic for my being ignored.

Great place to grab some food after a night out since it's 24 hours. The night shift waiters are pretty cool, tolerant and attentive. John deserves a raise.

Great, affordable options and good service. Seasonal items are always really good and stay long enough for you to be able to get it a few times. Wait staff is friendly and usually pretty good about refilling drinks promptly.

My blueberry pancakes were fantastic! Very light and fluffy. My ham and cheese omelet was good but needed a little more flavor. Overall, great job!

Server has an attitude from the start. No kids menu… in a breakfast food chain…. Extremely overpriced microwaved food! Blue raspberry splasher was good but when the server bought it the ice was already melted….

This is the first time that I have iHop in New England area, it tastes different than before. Not that good and the waiter give me a wrong check.

Our greeter had the most genuine & wonderful smile & attitude, I felt happy just sitting at my table. Service was prompt, waiter was great, attentive but not intrusive. Food was exactly as ordered and delicious. Even sitting right behind a table with a screaming infant and a toddler who kicked the back of my booth the entire time, I still left with a smile.

This experience I just had was absolutely horrid. I arrived around 3am with two other friends. No one approached us for approximately 20 minutes and the “manager” John told us it would be about another 20 minute wait. My friends got a little frustrated and told him well there’s like 10 people here why can’t you just sit us down. He was VERY aggressive and told us good luck finding another server because he was not serving us because we were impatient and quote on quote “rude”. Another customer that was already seated came up to us and approached us and he seemed under the influence but the manager John ordered the security to escort him out. The young man who was talking to us was GRABBED BY THE NECK AND WAS ESCORTED OUT OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! Never have I EVER seen this type of unprofessional behavior before. Then my friends and I followed to make sure the other customer was okay and he was told he WASN’T ALLOWED back into the restaurant but then was harassing him outside to go back in to pay his tab??? We went back in to get a table and approximately 10 minutes after the security guard came and told us “John” was not serving us. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Why have a 24/7 establishment and you don’t have enough staff!!!

Ok so I asked what fruit was in the fruit cup...cantaloupe, honey dew melon and grapes is what i was told. Alright sounds ok so i ordered the fruit cup and added a banana for an additional dollar. LMAO I still can not believe what the kitchen had the balls to send to the table. It looked like someone else's left overs. Some of the fruit in question was cut so small there is no possible way you could pick it up with a fork, let alone chew it! Needless to say i sent that joke back and asked the waiter if any of the kitchen staff was visually impaired! Feast your eyes on this $7 gem!

Had to literally call 15 times before anyone answered the phone so that I could place my take out order. The restaurant was slow and still took a half hour to get the order.

They had ONE server doing literally everything tonight. Serving food, drinks, bussing tables, and I'm pretty sure helping with cooking. My man Johnathan is a superhero. He deserves a fat bonus and a raise. There was also a security guard who did literally nothing the whole time, and at least 2 kitchen staff. Everything took forever because of one server having to do the work of 4, through no fault of his own. Please tip this guy extra if you decide to come here tonight. Food was good, took awhile to get but quality didn't suffer. Was still hot and everything. Management needs replacing for forcing their employees into this situation. This place should have been closed due to lack of staff tonight. Extremely unprofessional to remain open when you don't have enough staff to run properly.

Idrees is AMAZING!! His energy is unmatched and he deserves a raise. Whatever he’s getting paid is not enough. He’s a wonderful server and made me enjoy my stay. I look forward to coming back and seeing him again. Oh yeah, and the food was pretty good.

Went the other day! Friendly staff and awesome service! Everything was clean and they followed safety procedures as best they could! Will be coming back almost everyday!

I came here twice while in town - once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times order was done correctly and food tasted good. One time it took a long time to order but other than it was fine. 2nd time it was perfect with exceptional waitress except took long to pay the bill. Would come again if ever in town.

Service was ok and food was hot and good. The atmosphere was boring and drab. But the biggest problem was there were NO lights in the parking lot at all. We were in RI for a concert and wanted breakfast before returning to MA. The website said it was open 24 hours but when we got there it was so dark we thought it was closed. We saw people coming out and we asked them if it was open. The parking lot was scary dark and a safety hazard. You couldn't see the curb to step up.

The food was not normal for IHOP pancakes coffee coffee was slightly cold but still good. We have to wait forever to be seated. It took a long time for the food to come out. Yes it was Thanksgiving morning and yes they were open... which was surprised to see they were open. My brother-in-law wanted to go out for breakfast after they ran the Turkey Trot race. But as usual it's just IHOP.

$17.99 for a steak omelette. Good portion of steak… but every bite was 100% gristle - the trash fatty crunchy cartridge ends of the steak nobody would want to eat. It was so disgusting I threw it in the garbage rather than even giving it to the dog. Thanks for wasting my money and time.

It's a pretty good IHop! the location is alright - better then the Burger King across the lot lol , i definitely recommend coming and trying this location out - as i was satisfied.

Have visited 2x. Never had to wait for service. Staff was friendly. The place looks clean and is spacious. The portions are large and well priced.

It's not as good as their competitor, especially this morning. Our waiter failed to keep up with refills of coffee, the pancakes didn't taste good, and our sausage links were over cooked. Other times this IHOP was better.

Although typically I love to visit this place for the crepes they make, today I was sitting in filth tables left to clean themselves a manager that was not available by phone or in person Bathrooms disgusting and unsanitary and workers sitting on their phones I just don’t understand? The waiter untrained in service or how to take plates away as they empty not much else irritates me more than that. Service is the reason people go out and pay the price. Sadly this will be the last time I visit I feel as though the cleanliness is not what it used to be :(
