We stayed in this hotel last month for our anniversary. Very well maintained by bala murugan and manikantan. Rooms are very clean. Complimentary breakfast also very tasty.

A beautiful budget friendly hotel with courteous staff at reception & in kitchen, we loved our stay at pondicherry as it is situated in heart of white Town & it's ambience is also very vibrant with cozy Rooms with almost all amenities you need . We loved the breakfast food quality & service at may kitchen , 😋 a must try.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff is very sweet and accomodating. I wouldn't recommend going to Pondy during Diwali cuz most of the shops are closed. But you can have a relaxing experience overall.

Highly recommended. One of the best and friendliest hotels i have been to in India. They allowed free early check in (subject to availability). Service and hospitality was THE BEST i have ever enjoyed across the globe. The location is amazing too. The breakfast is also amazing. 3 course meal. Only opportunity area would be to bring some variety in the breafkfast menu. We stayed there for two days, and both the days the menu was the same.

The staff is very friendly and the food out here feels like home made and is good. The location is pretty good as well. However, the rooms are too smalls, the hotel is a small building, not much facilities, no parking etc,. I also felt it was expensive for the facilities it has.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The hospitality was top-notch, and the service was excellent. From the moment I arrived, I felt well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I was initially a little confused as I had seen some bad reviews, but I openly communicated my concerns with them. They assured me that the management had changed, and any past issues were resolved. I'm glad I trusted their word because my stay was flawless. I can't wait to visit again! Also it is very near to the white town and rock/promenade beach.

Pros- Good location with ease of access to most places. Clean linen Friendly staff Food always fresh and tasty though variety of choice for breakfast was very little and it was the same dishes repeated on all 3 days of our stay. Cons- Each time you have a meal , you have at square off the bill immediately and the bill cannot be closed while checking out. This is highly inconvenient. For a Room charge of 10500 /day, i was expecting a larger room. The rooms are just functional and leaves very little scope for space to ,move around. There were no wardrobes to keep our clothes. Just 3 hangers on the wall. So unpacking and arranging our personal effects was a problem. No electric Iron or hair drier in the room Overall good . The manager Mr Murugan, was always helpful and was kind enough to offer a complimentary dinner on the last day of our stay

Anti-friendly hotel with frauds !! It was the worst experience I've ever had. We were kicked out of the hotel just because another couple had booked online. It was the receptionist Roberts mistake who did not check the details properly and we were asked to pay for the next day right after the Breakfast. And they even took 2 days payment in advance and were asked to check-out, pack and leave the very next day . Culprits were- Balaji & Robert. Fraurdsters !! Don't go ever.

Aura Hotel is a beautiful place situated in the middle of all the places which you’ll want to go on your visit to Pondicherry. Beautiful rooms amazing staff very helpful with tasty breakfast.

Had a great stay at the Aura hotel. The food & the service was really good. The staff was exceptionally helpful & friendly. Rooms were clean & well serviced. Overall food variety & quality for lunch/ dinner is really very good!

Not sure how this hotel has got so high rating which also made us fall into the trap. Simply put very highly priced with the facilities provided. Buffet is something which does not have any options for meal hardly 3-4 breakfast items are there. Only location is somehow better otherwise there is nothing in this hotel, bad air conditioning, bad food, bad service, bad rooms. Even the linens were spoiled and hotel was least bothered only when I told them that I will post bad review is when they changed the linens. Not recommended at all.

We were here between 30th June to 2nd July 2023. We had a very comfortable stay here. The room and bathroom are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The in-house hotel is not maintained by aura, it's by some other management. We did not eat lunch and dinner there. We only had breakfast and it was good. The hotel is very close to the beach and other places. Most of pondi is walkable. So this hotel is very close to many tourist spots. One day we had a lot of gravy smell in the room despite the fact that our ac was On and windows were closed. When we asked the hotel staff they checked and found that the kitchen window was open and closed. So overall they were very understanding and resolved the problem we faced. We were vegans and I think the in-house hotel did not have many vegetarian options also...so we preferred eating out at places where we had some vegan options . Install "Happy cow" app for finding such places for vegetarian hotels offering vegan food or places offering exclusively vegan foods The security person who managed the parking also was very understanding and supportive in many ways by going out of his ways to help us during parking by adjusting the placement of the bikes around Thank you aura management for making our stay very memorable.

It was for a long weekend that we visited pondicherry and chose to stay here. The service, management was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. We were allowed to keep our luggages in the lobby before check-in and after check-out . However, breakfast which was included as complimentary could be improved. Mr Praveen was very humble and kind and guided us to plan our trip and places to go around. Overall, it was a good experience.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is a sweet cozy place in white town area which has all major tourist attractions at 5 minutes distance. The place is awesome with soothing vibes . The staff is extremely polite, well - mannered and helpful. Food and ambience is just perfect. We loved our stay to the fullest.

Clean, quiet, decent place to stay. Room service is prompt. The cutlery and linen are clean and the staff replenish the toileteries and beverage sachets quite often/upon request. The hotel is located at a great proximity to the shopping center and the beach. The wooden furniture in the spacious room gives one a luxurious feel. The staff is friendly and accomodating. There's hot water around the clock and the high-pressure massage function in the shower is relaxing. The receptionist gave us a quick overview of the tourist attractions when we arrived and handed us a map ... pretty helpful! Securing a parking spot is challenging (we're lucky we found a good spot). The room rent is high compared to others which offer similar amenities. A bath tub would have sweetened the deal. The view from our room was the balcony of a house littered with booze bottles and garbage. The staff should proactively share the wifi user name and password upon the guests' arrival. The hotel could have arranged a cake as I came to Pondicherry to celebrate my birthday. No wardrobe in the room. The breakfast is minimalistic - toast, jam, dosa, idly, omelette, chutney and sambar.

The place was very clean and service was prompt. Food was good and comparable to the cafes outside the hotel. Prices were comparatively on the higher side but perhaps due to the holiday season!

I absolutely loved my 5 night stay here! Hotel is beautiful, very new (opened a year ago) spotlessly clean, wonderful and friendly staff in the best location! I appreciate their efforts to make a vegan 🌱 friendly breakfast for me. Highly recommend Aura Hotel.

Wonderful hotel in Pondi , excellent quality of service from the staff , restaurant needs a little attention wrt breakfast inclusion ( hence 4 star) , Travelled a family of 5 adults and 2 kids. We made a booking very late and hence paid a higher amount , the only draw back is the lack of a buffet breakfast or options in breakfast and also it’s limited. The Lodge : New building with a touch of heritage and modern feel, the pink stands out typical European :-) Rooms look great and nice fresh very minimum basic design so perfect , very appealing . Service of the reception staff and room Everyone is excellent . Location <1km to the beach and all attractions nearby. Total just 3 floors and about 15 rooms , All rooms are same size , you get extra cot or mattress per extra adult(if any). One of rooms 205 started getting a sort of drainage smell from the bathroom for few hours but it went away later maybe some sanitary works issue. At check in it self we were told restaurant and lodge Mgmt is different so I felt something was not right… Restaurant : No buffet breakfast , every morng same option of 1 Juice and small bowl of cut pineapple and watermelon followed by continental(bread with omlette or butter jam) or south India( Idly or Puri or dosae ), mind you , you cannot order more than 1 item per person continental or south as the restaurant says it’s limited breakfast , I mean after paying 6-7k per night per room not getting breakfast with options or unlimited is a big let down , even much smaller hotels offer great breakfast at this rates. I already gave a Feedbk during my stay itself so other than restaurant for which I’m giving 4 star every thing else is great ! Book early maybe if u get at 3-4k then it’s worth even with limited breakfast. Certainly coming back to stay here and expecting a better breakfast from the Aura team as the team of people and their service is great. since new we just gave a feedback but some other guests were clearly unhappy and shouting too on this topic so don’t spoil ur trip as Hotel is good in all other ways :-) Feedback : try to make a terrace restaurant with buffet breakfast and I’m sure u guys will top the list of stays in Pondi :-)

Location is best . Arbindo ashram is only 650mtr away. Rock beach is at walking distance. Even French town is on walking distance. All places one should visit are easy to reach or are located at walking distance from hotel. Rooms are clean and well organized. Porches have amazing paintings. Employees are extremely polite and helpful. Ambience is worth mentioning. Room service was good too. Extreme polite and well mannered staff.

New Hotel, fresh rooms and polite staff. Rooms are small and tidy. Washroom is well maintained. No cupboard to store your clothes. Free parking was mentioned but we had to park on the streets which is bad considering the amount we paid. Bit costly for the size of the room.

Had a pleasant stay at this new property. It was comfortable and cozy, except for few minor things it was all in all a good stay. Food was good as well. The breakfast could have some variety though. Courteous people all around. Would recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights with family. Must say, amazing hotel it is, big and clean rooms, the washroom is clean too. The location is the best part of this property. They have parking facility too for your two/four wheelers. The team working here specially Parvathy at front desk is exceptional. Perfect experience. Room size and quality was excellent. Parking space was a bonus as it is typically tough to find space in white town. Staff went over and beyond to make us comfortable.

My mother who came to visit us in Pondicherry likes to try new hotels during her stay and she enjoyed a lot Aura Hotel. She fixed to book a room there again nex time! Spacious rooms nicely decorated, with all the comfort. Tasty food. Very attentive staff. Ideally located. A must in Pondicherry.

The facilites and rooms were great for a reasonable price. The interiors were well maintained and hygienic. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The location is optimal with two beaches in proximity along with other tourist attractions.
