This place offers a big set of amazing experiences which most definitely will sum up to have an unforgettable trip. From bike and and horseback rides through the whole terrain (over 1,000 hectares/ ~2,500 acres) between rivers, lakes and hills, nights in the absolute dark to watch and photograph the stars, birdwatching treks guided by the most renowned ornithologists from the region (the have over 200 registered species in the zone!!! . Their long going efforts to make the whole complex completely green are amazing and giving obvious results nowadays. Most of the food served is locally grown (they have their own fish farm, which, by the way, has a tour to see how animals are treated with the biggest respect). Staff is amazing, really caring and warm. This place is, hands down, a must go for every nature lover.

Nice hotel, but really understaffed

Amazing. Such beauty in just one place. The best experience either for birding or just having an amazing time with nature, exploring the Serranías, the tropical forest, eating great food, resting at the pool, doing kayak... A must if you are in Colombia. Menegua is located in the geographic half of the country.

The hotel was closed for 5 months because of the road work therefore the kayaking lagoon was very poorly maintained. The water had too much algae so we couldn’t swim and everything was full of spiders. We barely saw a couple of deers and a small crocodile. The WiFi didn’t reach the rooms. The tv had only novela and news channels. The food was good and the pool was very nice. We did the horseback riding we loved our guide but all the other tours are exactly the same road. Beautiful landscape but needs a lot of rethinking about the tour experiences

Great nature, very friendly staff, facilities are functional, nice swimming pool, good variety of on-site activities within the natural reserve and arrangement support is provided for off-site excursions.

Good hotel. Great place, nice pool, food is ok, althow its a very simple buffet. The reserve is awesome, they have a beautiful environment arround them.
