😐 The hostel owner is super nice! Although the bathrooms and showers aren’t too nice. The WiFi needs improvement. Definitely needs to add a router upstairs or else you can’t really use WiFi unless you’re near the kitchen. Otherwise for the price it is a good one night stay. Marco the manager stole my cellphone. Kept my insulin when I left, and told me he hopes I die. If I hadn't experienced it, I wouldn't believe it.

Did not respect the arrival time originally agreed on, and started sending extremely rude messages to my personal number (rather than through the app where the original communication took place) several hours before my check-in time. Have spent a couple years in mĂŠxico and stayed at hostels in just about every state, exchanges like this are very rare in my experience, and a definite sign not to trust them.

North of the crowds but scenic and easy bus ride to Zona Romantica. A clean and friendly hostel with a mix of international guests. 7 minute walk to the beach, great restaurants nearby and, of course, your charming hosts, Marco and Viking Dog.

Cozy, friendly, grubby hostel with terrific outdoor hangout spaces. Fantastic location. Friendly and helpful but somewhat lackadaisical host (he’s the owner). When I stayed there it was at capacity. Conditions were somewhere in the middle of “clean” and “disgusting”: whether you’d be comfortable or not depends on your tolerance. My fellow guests were an eclectic mix. Hanging out with them was the best aspect of the place. Oh, and it’s dirt cheap and, again, in a terrific location on the edge of the Versalles neighborhood and one short block from Hwy 200 where there’s a major bus stop, several banks, etc.

Had a really nice stay at Marko's beautiful house! Relaxing atmosphere and the owner is veeeeery chill and fun. It is not a party hostel and that's what I needed. I was supposed to stay only a few days but I stayed 2 weeks =) The buses are super close and can take you to the city centre or to the airport. I definitely recommend.

Pretty chill place and the owner is kind and generous. Not the cleanest place or in the greatest location. Very relaxing and affordable stay and good atmosphere to meet people.

Marco is fantastic. This hostel is super laid-back and chill but don't expect the Hilton. It Is a very old building but that just makes it more charming!

Great location and easy on the budget. Many places to quietly chill or to be social. Good choice for short stay. Close to transportation hub for exploring and connections. Longer stays require a bit more esprit de corps

Awesome hostel, feels like you're part of the family. They'll help you book taxi collectivo to other parts of the island and recommend places to go. Met a couple other wanderers there as well during my short stay. Rooftop hammocks to watch the sunset over Havana. Only a short walk from old Havana, but far enough that you aren't overloaded with the hustle and bustle of the city.

👍👍 I originally booked 2 weeks but stayed for 3 weeks in total because I liked the hostel so much. It has a family atmosphere and everyone is so friendly and helpful. They recommended me so many nice places to go to in Vallarta and for my solo-trip around Mexico. The stuff speeks good English and help...
