Our first time in PV in many years, we found this literal hole in the wall restaurant hidden from view, off the beaten parh. We're so glad we found it. The shrimp mojo de ajo was mouth watering. The portions were generous and the prices are designed for locals. You would pay 30 to 40 percent more in the Romantica zone. It's a mom and pop operation; the owner was a fisherman diver in his heyday and proudly exhibits his work in the decors. Service was prompt and friendly. You may wait a bit longer but it is well worth it. No AC, ceiling fans, and cash only. We'll definitely return to try the fish plates.

A little secluded and away from main busy streets. Small restaurant with no AC but plenty of fans. They aren’t the friendliest but food is good and they serve fast. We got two plates, tacos, tostada, shrimp cocktail, Beers and Michelada. For dessert we had homemade flan. Food was fresh and tasted great. Michelada was amazing and just right for the 80degree weather outside. I will add this place was recommended by our Uber and hotel owner. Won’t disappoint!

Amazing local and authentic restaurant. The stingray was very tasty as was the marlin. I highly recommend the flan for dessert.

It's just 4 blocks east of McDonald's. Quaint hole in the wall restaurant with very good seafood, at reasonable price. Staff very pleasant, and speak a bit of English. Highly recommend.

I usually don't care about giving businesses reviews but this place deserves every world fantastic food the best I ever had

We live nearby and La Isla is one of our go to lunch places. Generous portions for all of the dishes and all the seafood is made to order. I particularly like their aguachiles and the octopus sauteed in butter. You also can't go wrong with their ceviche. Everything is fresh. The staff is very attentive.

Great place with a nice dinner plate with perfectly steamed veggies and some rice. The bread was a nice touch. We had the octopus and it was cooked perfectly. Raw fish ceviche was the highlight. No frills but a good value. I have had ceviche at three other places on this trip and this was the best. The beer was very cold. Save room for the flan.
