Very responsive emergency services with specialized doctors available for all diseases. The only issie is most senior doctors are not available on Saturday and Sunday which should not be the case since emergency can happen on weekends too.

Me and my sister were admitted to this hospital back in 2010 for treatment of Dengue fever. My sister died becuase of the negligence of the doctors here. No one was available for the surgery. I had to take my sister to Jinnah Hospital where she died as soon as we reached there. So I can't forget that ever. Apart from my experience, overall this hospital is not up to the standards like all other government hospitals. Also they are semi government so they charge more than for services they provide. I will recommend other hospitals especially Jinnah Hospital where they have more doctors.

Worst hospital. If you want your loves one not die, then never go to this hospital. We took our patient in emergency, she had simple vomiting, nurses put drips but they don't know it's for what reason. Not a single doctor there. As time passed after 2,3 hours our patient start problem of breathing also. We requested nurses to bring doctor, they said no they cannot bring any doctor there. Finally one of their own staff member said if you want to keep alive your patient ,take patient to another hospital without anydealy. Staff member said here no one care of patient. Finally we took patient to another hospital and after treatment of doctor, patient start recover after 2 days. Highly not recommended this hospital

Worst hospital. Don't go there for any emergency. Doctors don't care about patients. Their attitude with heart patient in emergency is absolutely unacceptable. Just take rounds and rounds with patients in search of doctors. Staff attitude is even bad. Except some nurses and doctors, majority will not even bother if a patient is dying. They will do whatever they want. Writing it because of personal experience. Same thing happened to me when i had chest pain and same happened with mother for the same issue. Worst emergency care, you have to search for doctors again and again and once you find them, they abuse and shame you in different ways. They say you should go to other private hospitals. In reality we, citizens are paying for their salary so how dare they say this?0

Worst hospital ever.. mirha is my friend's daughter and she died because of their negligence. Shame on you Sheikh Zaid Hospital.. Doctors on duty ... Consulant Asfand. Dr Ifra Dr Maham . Dr Maryiam • 25th August Tuesday @1.25 my daughter arrived at the hospital, delirious with a very high fever and excessive weakness. *1st question was is she normal without any concern of her state *They didn't have bed in ICU so they kept her in Emergency and placed her on a drip for 3 hours. After which she was concious and responding. *We enquired what is happening. The Dr informed us that they have started treatment, however no beds were available in ICU. We were told in normal circumstances if there were no beds in ICU the patient is sent home however on this occasion they have started treatment and reassured us that the patient will have a full recovery. *All test were normal including blood test I asked for a diagnosis, one of the doctor on shift said they suspected meningitis but results were unclear *We ask another Senior Dr, he said she will be fine and prescribed her antibiotics and he didn't say anything about her diagnosis as they still don't know . *We been going around and asking doctors but no one was telling anything. After 3 hours they took her in ICU and put drip on her . Next Morning 26th her condition improved and she was in good spirits. Dr on duty said bring her soup she will feel better as she was still weak. *By this time she was better they wanted to do LP test to check if there was an infection in the bone. We requested a consultation with senior Doctor prior to any test being carried out. No one got back to us. *She was recovering in ICU. I was appalled at the doctors conduct, they were laughing loudly and displaying insensitive behaviour and didn't care about patients at all .I asked on numerous occasions to check Mirha and they were only putting drips on her without knowing what was wrong with her or provided any updates on her condition. *They took her for MRI on 26th , Mirha was laughing and playing and in good spirits. They gave her anesthesia for MRI and 3 injections ( there was no anesthesia specialist and they didn't do any checkups before MRI) * Her health started deteriorating straight after the injections. Her heartbeat was not stable started fluctuating, we were screaming as no senior Dr was around, only student doctor's. *when they saw her state two senior doctor's came, we didn't see them before ,they started rescesitating and put her on ventilator without asking us and without any consultation , they started taking anesthesia liquid from her stomach with needles. They were insering needles in her stomach around her heart, putting pipes in the mouth, MRI report still wasn't here. *1 hour they been experimenting with her body doing experiments. The police and guards were called to remove us from the situation and refused us to ask questions. They were lying that that ventilator was on. The child who went fine for MRI and was fully recovering had suddenly died as a result of a serious misdemeanours. *MRI report wasn't there it was missing. As when they were doing MRI I overheard that the child did not have a life threatening condition. *Cause of death in death certificate is showing Meningoencephalitis and cardiopulmonary arrest which is a lie as we have been asking throughout all reports that she was fine and they didn't diagnose anything until she passed away . *We entrusted the hospital to treat my child's condition however she was killed through the wrong treatment, serious misdemeanours and neglect. *child was dead on 26th @10.45pm *My daughter is dead with cruelty and mistreatment, I don't want this to happen with anyone else's child , I don't want any other family to go through what we are going through and to stop all this we want justice. We want an independent inquiry and all these doctor's licences need to be canceled .Doctor's should be there to save lives not to take lives with there negligence and to make money . We want Justice for Mirha. #mirhaumair

Mis management, dirty and filthy place, staff especially nurses have the worse behsvior, though doctors are good and competent they deal patients politely. But Government should make it neat and clean and well managed as it is a hospi. People go there in seek of health not more diseses.

Service for middle class. But you must try Govt hospital for the quality of service especially honest service. (even behaviour matters) 1. Eight patients from Ten are treated here for cesarean operation. I know that, not everyone on normal delivery but you can experience this ratio here. 2. Rush place, good management but most of the time very poor management, 3. Staff hired every two to three month i think (no sustainability).

Hospital emergency is of little capacity compared to the accident & trauma cases that divert here. Parking is spacious and available round the clock. Overall, hospital staff is professional and efficient, equally. Hygienic condition is average and utilities are below standard at tucshop and canteen.

Please take your own thermometer, they do not have electric or normal ones,or either buy from pharmacy which is too far away from emergency dep. The doctor in emergency was pathetic ,she gave 4 injections and drip which costed around 1000+ She didn't even listened me properly. Then i went to private emergency where they game only panadol and an antibiotic and told me precautions to follow as well, which the former didnt. Please go to jinnah for atleast they have more than one doctor in emergency.

hospital infirmary mission hospital operating room See all related content → To better serve the wide-ranging needs of the community, the modern hospital has often developed outpatient facilities, as well as emergency, psychiatric, and rehabilitation services. In addition, “bedless hospitals” provide strictly ambulatory (outpatient) care and day surgery. Patients arrive at the facility for short appointments. They may also stay for treatment in surgical or medical units for part of a day or for a full day, after which they are discharged for follow-up by a primary care health provider. Hospitals have long existed in most countries. Developing countries, which contain a large proportion of the world’s population, generally do not have enough hospitals, equipment, and trained staff to handle the volume of persons who need care. Thus, people in these countries do not always receive the benefits of modern medicine, public health measures, or hospital care, and they generally have lower life expectancies. In developed countries the hospital as an institution is complex, and it is made more so as modern technology increases the range of diagnostic capabilities and expands the possibilities for treatment. As a result of the greater range of services and the more-involved treatments and surgeries available, a more highly trained staff is required. A combination of medical research, engineering, and biotechnology has produced a vast array of new treatments and instrumentation, much of which requires specialized training and facilities for its use.

The nurses do not care about if a patient is seriously ill, treats the patient terribly. they speak to the members of a patient’s family very rudely. They make you buy items that are not need for the patient, don’t use it and sell it on to other patients! Gave the patient a tablet when they are not able to swallow making the patient even more ill. Sadly the patient passed away due to the lack of care.

Third class emergency service. Doctor's attitude is as good as free service, daily ho. I had a road accident or arm fracture and it was a great blessing to wait for 3 hours and get an x-ray done. Or by mistake, my friend today found out how to deal with a critical condition patient.

Highly trained staff and especially surgeons are very experienced and loyal to their work. Some of the staff members are very rude but the rest of the others are very kind.

The hospital has a lot of maintenance issues, with a lot of stuff being broken or just not in shape. It is very difficult to navigate through due to lack of guide boards that guide you towards particular wards, etc. and it feels suffocating when walking and sitting in it. On top of it, the hospital staff that takes care of the patient such as doctors and nurses are also very rude, doctors in particular. It seems like they don't even have training on how to talk with patients and their relatives. They will literally fight with you to satisfy their ego. I experienced the extremely poor and pathetic behavior of a doctor. Although, the non patient caring staff such as security guards are friendly people, who will guide you and tell you about the information you want to get from them.

Worst experience if you get admitted there they will do a lot of medical tests, you will get tired and loose a lot of money in vain without any solid reason. Wastage of money and time. Dirty wards with cockroaches and skin rashes Not recommended if you want to save time and money.

If you want your loved ones to die then look no further. They will insult you while they kill your loved one. The beds were dirty matter of fact the whole hospital was dirty. Non professional and dangerous to go there. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE THERE. JUST KILL THEM AT HOME YOURSELF.

I think this is hospital staff job not patient's job i don't why these doctors had such an attitude do they think they are doing a favor are they not getting paid for the job ... Duch a shame

The staff and a group of wonderful surgeons and doctors were always kind and helpful. They made sure that my preparation, surgery, and follow-up went well. Anybody should check this out. Excellent medical office; an excellent and welcoming experience from beginning to end. Thank the doctors for taking the time to explain the diagnosis and the options for treatment. was referred by my general physician, and I understand why. Definitely recommend.
