It's a genuine authentic chinese restaurant said to be run by Chinese chefs themselves. The food was great especially the prawn dishes and the noodles were just awesome. It's great hangout place for all gourmets and price tilts a little bit to the expensive side. The service was great and the ambience was top notch. Highly recommended.

I understand that this place might be very old and famous, and although I'm giving it a near perfect rating, I still had more expectations from this establishment. The Indo-Chinese food felt more "Indo" than "Chinese." The restaurant is present in puri since few decades and have been an absolute delight both for food quality, promptness of service and the rich ambience that gives a little flavor of close to Chinese culture. The owner is super cordial to offer any assistance that you might be after. Try Hunnan chicken, clear soup, monchow soup, wanton. It's the best Authetic Chinese restaurant in odisha. The interiors of this restaurant is so well maintained and arranged it feels like you have just landed to China. They provide a lot of food options in terms of starter and main course. And the food was really yummy whenever I go to puri I make sure to always go here to have dinner. The staff are really nice and friendly, the owner is really beautiful and sweet. Overall the vibe of this place is really nice. Mostly this place is always crowed so before going make sure to call the restaurant and know the waiting time in order to arrange your schedule.

We visited this property on the first week of this month (June 22), had booked multiple rooms mostly Sea facing and everything went really well. Excellent location, Clean room and bathroom, good AC, handy mini bar, awesome view from the Balcony, swift cleaning staff, prompt room service, good restaurant, good quality food... what more we can expect! Worth every penny. Everytime we met the property owner he greeted us with a jovial manner. Thanks Sona International...

Chung Wah is a nice Chinese restaurant. The food is amazing here and so is the delivery time. You probably will have to wait to get a place though. We ordered a lot of dishes and enjoyed every bit of it except one that is the mixed friend rice noodles, it was very much like mixed non veg added to vermicelli.

The aroma of this restaurant is so good. When you enter the restaurant you get a full Chinese vibe and the food is next level. Crispy chicken was superb as well as chicken fried rice! Even the chungwah special soup was so goooood!

Overall nice experience, we have stayed here for one night, here the price is For sea facing AC-3000-/ and non sea facing 2800-/ per room . Check in and check out time 7:00 am (strictly followed) . The manager was very rude he don't know the behaviour. We have checked in around 2:00 pm and he said you should be checkout before 7:00 Am . Room was average with central AC system which is good thing. Bathroom toilet was ok ok not that much clean. Only the best thing is view . You can got amazing view from the hotel. That's the reason for choosing this hotel. Also you can find hotel as your cost near the beach , puri hotel also a good option.

We booked 3 rooms with Hotel Sona International, Puri - 2 rooms for 4 days and 1 room for 2 days, for 5 of us. As per the hotel’s requirement, we paid Rs. 17000/- as advance payment via online transaction. The booking was from 10th June to 13th June, 2022. However, we were stuck in a road blockade in Kolkata on the evening of 9th June (reported in all leading newspapers) and missed our train ('Garib Rath’). We were stuck for 3.5 hours and the two senior citizens in our team were not in a position to travel further. Hence, three of us booked a flight for 10th morning to Bhubaneswar. After reaching Bhubaneswar, we requested the hotel over phone to consider our case since we no longer needed 3 rooms. However, they said that if they did not get any boarder, then we would have to pay the full charge for the three rooms. When I asked about their cancellation rule, they said that it was 20 days. I was astonished and expressed my astonishment to him mildly and in a normal voice. However, the person at the other end got furious and started to shout. I tried to calm him down by requesting him not to get agitated and to not shout but he continued in his way. Then I had to shout too. Upon reaching the hotel we again had an altercation during which they said that they would have done all types of adjustment but now they would not. Also the person at the counter became extremely aggressive – he came running towards me, shouted at the top of his voice and pointed finger to me. At that time, we had enough. I also became afraid of the safety of my family there. Hence we left the hotel and, after searching for about 5 hours, got accommodation in other hotels. However, not only we were insulted and verbally abused, they did not return Rs. 17000 even though we did not stay at the hotel for a single minute.

The ambiance of the place is very nice, good maintenance and very clean place. Pros:- The food quality was good and the price was reasonable , the taste was also good. 1)Breakfast menu:-Alu Paratha was nice, Puri was tasty. Lunch:- Veg Thali was good Dinner:- Paneer Navaratna is a must try. 2) Staff behaviour was very generous. Cons:- 1) Sorse Narkel Chingri recipe was not good. 2)Not satisfied with the package system, we ordered Tawa rotis and the size of the rotis were small compared to the previous day, when we dined.

I gave them a 2 star rating since they don't serve Authentic Chinese Food. I would not say that the food is not tasty. It tastes good and you can get the same taste from any roadside Chinese Food stall or any other restaurant that has Chinese food in their menu. Hence, the price is also on a very higher side if you compare the same food taste against other available food stalls and restaurants. Yeah ambience is good at the restaurant but still not justifiable to the authenticity of the food.

If you want to experience top notch Chinese cuisine then this has to be your go to place. Food was amazing especially the chicken wings, mixed noodles and lollipops were so juicy from inside and crispy from outside. Service was good but there is scope for improvement. (I would like to highlight one incident that is still there with me. There was a particular guy in the staff who was looking kind of jealous. See I understand we all have problems in life and we want to live a good life. But that person gave me such a cold vibe that I couldn't get that off my chest for a long time. ) This is totally subjective but they should train the staff well. The ambience was exceptionally well. It shows that someone has put effort into designing the interior and the seats were comfortable. You can spend a good couple of hours with your partner or family.

There best chinese food in all of Odisha. Yes, this place is better than Mayfair's Chinese restaurants. They don't skimp out in vegetarian dishes. They generously put vegetables and everything is proportional. Extra points for thinking slightly out of the box and having a dish that no other Chinese restaurants have, that is, chilli potato. Such a great experience overall.

Manager behavior is very good. Nobody will disturb. Room is good .Seaview from front side room is excellent. I was in room Number.311 it is no doubt good but no electric kettle for making tea is present in the room. Otherwise it is OK. I was staying in this hotel from 18th July to 23rd July 2022.

In my opinion, rooms are good but not so maintained. Location is also good and staffs are also well behaved but the manager's behaviour is so rough not so supportive. Overall the hotel is decent.

Beautiful and amazing Chinese restaurant in terms of food and environment. Had the following items to our satisfaction. 1. Chicken drumstick: - well cooked, deep friend, served with schezwan sauce. - 6 pieces and enough for two. 2. Chicken spring roll: - flavourful, crispy and hot served with honey chilli dip. - 2 rolls cut into 6 pieces. 3. Chicken schezwan chow mein: - pretty consistent and spiced well for taste. - sufficient quantity for two people. The service is good it terms or terms of attending and taking order, could be a little better in terms of billing as well. Overall, it’s good and would love to visit again.

Too much crowded this time when we went to visit for a Saturday lunch. That was a bit horrifying in this pandemic time. But anyways, like always the food tasty and okay hygiene was kind maintained but I can't say it was very satisfying, but still Mr.Lee has hold on to the standard of the place well for all these years,have been visiting here since 2008,every time we visit Puri ( which is mostly every year) we definitely visit here atleast for 1 day. Over all good. Food quality and quantity very good and the seating arrangements are good and comfortable, good decor.

I convinced my husband for a dinner date here and he didn't even want to come back. A must visit place in Puri if you want to have a pleasant lunch/dinner. There is a rush of customers, so you might have to wait for a table if you don't have prior reservation. But the service is fast even when the restaurant is full. Thumbs up to the ambience and food. Although the price is on a higher side, but the taste makes up for it.

There are various types of Chinese food available and having been there for more than 3 times and tried a variety of dishes, every dish is prepared with utmost care and is very delicious. Visiting Chung Wah since probably they started business in Puri. I visit Puri every year it's a mandate trip for my fam. We never miss a lunch or dinner without Chung Wah in our check list. Anyway coming to their food as always the best Chinese in town serving for a long long time. But honest feedback couple of years their standard had failed to keep the top level of service and food quality and quality. So we were getting disappointed since it's our thing everytime we visit it has to be Chung Wah for a fam dinner/lunch. However I am glad that they have corrected themselves and are back to being the number one in town for Chinese. 10/10 for Quality, Quantity, Ambience, Staff, Taste.

Ordered golden fried prawn, egg fried rice, hunan fish - the tastes are not so remarkable which will make you a must visit place for the next time. I feel no taste in the fried rice. They have suggested for an orange juice, which should be fresh, but I feel it like "Rasna" and they have added two pieces of oranges into the glass. If anybody wants to change the food taste in Puri he/she may visit this place. Overall the experience was good.
