Scammers. My one year contract expired in August 2019. I paid for every month as stated. However I wanted to quit after the contract finalized. I’ve called and mailed and even went to the gym. Employees are clueless on how to help me unsubscribe. I’m a cash cow to them. STOP TAKING MY MONEY. I’ve communicated in every way possible and they keep making excuses on why I can’t unsubscribe from the membership.... take your money elsewhere do yourself a favor and don’t set foot in this place. They won’t take you seriously but they will take your money.

They charge you for 4 weeks. That might seem like an innocuous detail, but in a year you end up making 13 payments instead of 12. What a cheap ruse... On top of that, the staff is very inattentive. A positive though: the gym is quite big with a lot of equipment.

Overall I got a good first impression of this gym. Nice view of the Maas, friendly staff, sports equipment is ok with sauna facilities. Avoid busier times as the changing room offers very little space. The target group that visits here is diverse and can therefore quickly cause friction.

Bring your noise-cancelling headphones... the doors to the groups classes always get opened, summer or winter, and the screaming of the instructors fills the gym.

Just another chain gym that only cares about getting new members and nothing about the current members. Overrun by group classes with shouting instructors. Staff say one thing to your face, and do another behind your back. While the gym has good equipment it is an unpleasant environment to spend time. And make sure you have noise canceling headphones, the classes insist on having their door open.

I have been working out here for almost a year and a half now and I have nothing but praise for this gym. Under the guidance of Joshua and Orpheo, I have lost more than 35 kilos. It is a very nice, friendly, cozy and modern gym with lots of fun classes and a beautiful view. I recommend it to everyone!

It's definitely not worth €60 a month. In the summer it is ridiculously hot and stuffy, especially downstairs an air conditioner would be desirable. Be sure that when you hang up a CO2 meter you will be shocked by the result. Instead of air conditioning, there are 3 crappy fans that only blow heat and dust through the air. Those fans probably use more power than an air conditioner. Furthermore, the water is half lukewarm to fill your bottle. No one, but no one, cleans up their mess. That is a general problem in the gym, but no one really monitors this. Lockers more often than not don't work. All in all it is just becoming an outdated concept, the gym needs a makeover. Equipment etc. is in excellent condition, if they would make a little effort it could be a fantastic gym. All in all, you mainly pay for the view.

MyLife Aan de Maas has good quality equipment from Technogym. With MyLife's own app it is child's play to track your progress, create and/or adjust programs, stronger or longer than last time has never been easier to keep track of. Many facilities such as a daycare center, physiotherapist and sauna (but I have never used this). If something is not working or is under maintenance, this is always neatly displayed with several notes or signs. The staff is very nice. I have been coming here 3 times a week for a year now, everyone is up for a short chat, which makes it a pleasant club. In that respect, the marketing does what it promises. What can be done better? These are some guests, weights are not always put back and not everyone keeps equipment clean after use. The staff does their best to pay attention to this, but this is not always possible due to the number of visitors.

Really one of the best gym's I've been so far in Rotterdam. Really nice staff who always greet you when you come. They really did a great effort by renewing all the equipment. And also try to involve the members with cool promotions. And stay in touch with their members trough social media. Big plus! Really spacious place with different floors and lots a toys for us gym rats to play around with 💪

Nice and good places for doing the sport. I also like the view and equipments. However, as mentioned in earlier comments, they have a money scam system for charging. This also applied for the first time registration. For example, I've registered on 9th of March and suppose to pay my membership fee every 4 weeks based on the description. However, when they calculate my weeks they assume 20th of February as the starting day which is strange. So far 6 weeks has been passed from my registration and I paid for 12 weeks of registration. I asked them for explanation and they told me that this is a weird way of calculation and this is how it works.

Nice club, just a lot of anti-Semites who play sports there, spread lies about you, gossip behind your back, rip your cap off your head from behind and puncture your tires. I had no problem with most of the employees, but one apparently hated me for some reason and didn't give me water while he gave water to everyone in the class and even removed me from a group photo. I still don't know what I did wrong other than my Jewish heritage.

The corner of this building (entrance side) was featured as a cafe in Jackie Chan’s Movie “Who am I” (1998). Places related to the same movie are Willemswerf building where Jackie is sliding down the glass roof, Cube Houses and Willemsbrug (the last scene in the movie). There is no cafe nowadays which disappointed us. A large indoor plant is taking a place of the cafe table shown in the movie. And we're dreaming of having a cup of coffee with an ice cream in that place with a view at Willemswerf :(

The gym is quite clean with a great view on the water. Sauna and steam are very clean and spacious. They also offer cold showers after the sauna. Shout-out for Hanna, Robin, and Jozua. They were extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. They helped me with the termination of my membership without much hassle. It is very unfortunate that I had to leave the gym! But I will go there again for sure!

I actually wanted to take a look here and probably register here, but I just read here that there was an employee wearing an Ajax shirt? Are you completely in your right mind over there? Is that crazy person who got that into his head just in the Netherlands for a week or something or does he really not understand it? This is not only stupid, it is provocative, irresponsible and can even lead to unsafe situations within the gym. TYPE UP, MONKS!
