Came in for lunch, only just managed to get a seat, the place is fairly small, and while you can eat in, takeout seems more popular. I ordered a pork gyros dish, and my partner the pork gyros pita. The dish being slightly more expensive, but also has a bit more of everything. The food itself was fantastic, if I lived nearby this would be somewhere I visit regularly for lunch. Every part of the gyros was full of flavour, and worked well together.

The classic pita was absolutely delicious. Really great place to take out when you're on the go.

Ordered the Chef’s Favorite. Food delivered was a huge mess, it looked as if each box was shaken. As a result, all of the contents were mixed together and food inedible. Even though Uber Eats most likely mishandled the food, so many different things should not have been packed together in the same box. Meat & Greek really needs better ways to package their to go dishes. The dishes are too complex to get thrown together in a lunch box. Meat was cold and flavors bland. 70 euros for 3 dishes by the way….. unacceptable!

At lunch time, the small restaurant was completely full and many take away customers were waiting outside. Despite the rush, the staff was friendly and the food came reasonably quickly. The Gyros pita I ordered was very tasty. Strong recommendation for this restaurant.

Really nice option for Greek “fast food”. Nice menu with different pita options (incl. vegetarian) with very nice and fresh ingredients. Quite affordable 👍🏻

This one’s is going to be a tough review to write because the sheer experience of it is hard to pen down. But here goes my attempt. Today was one of the best meals I have eaten in Amsterdam since December of 2022. I ordered the mrs Greek dish. I was super hungry and this healthy plate of veggies and meat seemed perfect. The pork was cooked so well, the taste succulent with bite sized pieces. The tomatoes adding sourness, the onions adding a little bit of spice, the yogurt sauce tied it all together and the pita bread adding the much required carbs. But the star ingredient of this meal was that fig jam which brought this surprising sweetness to the entire dish and boom!! My palate had a totally different experience taking this dish to the next level! Thank you to our lovely servers who prepared my food with a beautiful smile on their face and thank you to whoever owns this place for allowing me to completely surrender and enjoy me meal wholeheartedly. My heart was indeed so joyful after this food!

The restaurant have a super clean decoration which makes the environment super nice. If you order the pita dish, prepare yourself to don’t feel hungry for the rest of the day! I highly recommend to order with the spicy feta, it’s super tasty!

What to say? To be honest, gyros was amazing but to pay 12e for one gyros pita its more than too much! The point of gyros is to have cheap fast food. Plus there is no wi fi so if you are tourist you can’t update your maps during the launch.

The food was so good and the staff is so nice. They also have a really tasty vegetarian option. For desert they treated us with a delicious Greek yogurt. We will definitely repeat!!

Omg, this place is so sweet and so TASTY. Amazing location. You get the Amsterdam city center vibes without being right in it. Also, cute AF window seating for two. The staff is super friendly, fast and helpful. Food was better than I would’ve expected. They deserved everything. Keep the good work. Thank you!!

Very delicious vegan gyros. The vegan meat is really great, the way the are able to make it so juicy is awesome. Been here for the second time. I had the classic vegan gyros with tzatziki in the pita bread as a sandwich and the second time the Chefs Plate. Both times really great and delicious although I prefer the pita sandwich variant, you simply have all the great flavors in one bite. The service is super welcoming as well. Would recommend and will be back!

Interesting take on Greek takeaway food culture. As a frequent gym goer I would eat here often considering their meals are packed with good proteins and tasty vegetables! Thanks for not tempting us with fries guys!

Went here last year and the food was really good. It was quite popular and a lot of people at the time. Would recommend if you like Greek food or fresher food in general!

If you like meat and you like "Greek" then you must try this place. It's a small simple place, with an even simpler menu. The quality of the good is fantastic, though not cheap. I paid €13 for a sausage gyro in a pita pocket. Great flavour and bite, and very fulfilling. Lovely staff.

As a Greek person myself, I would like to make clear that this is not a good representation of Greek food. The options were extremely limited, the dishes were not Greek, super expensive, and with weird combinations of ingeredients and people were not even Greeks. Just by combining gyros with feta and Greek yogurt doesn't make it Greek. We are very disappointed and won't suggest it to anyone that wants to experience authentic Greek cuisine.

Everything was amazing except for the pita bread of the gyros. The pita was not soft at all and very hard to chew. Too bad, since the filling was delicious ( I took the lamb & beef Chef gyros). Hopefully they will up their pita bread game. Also, they were out of skewed meat 😕

This is definitely not your usually kebab place. This is food made with love and care using fresh ingredients. I ordered the lamb and beef wrap and loved it so much I ordered the pork one to try it - both were great. Highly recommend!

Great spot for a very quick and tasty bite to eat. I love the veggie meat substitute and am hooked on the Chefs Choice with Fig Jam and Feta! The northern soul and classic soul music is great too. Big shout out to their staff, they are super friendly, it's a blessing

Best Greek in Town! We had Chef's Favourite- dish and pita and we both we're super happy and full at the end 🤤 Fresh vegetables, awesome meat and the pita bread was on top of the world! Definitely a must Go!

This is a hidden gem with tasty, filling and unique food in Amsterdam. We had chef’s favorite with pork and it was absolutely amazing! A good portion for a price they ask that fills you with juicy meat, vegetables, tzatziki sauce, and soft pita bread. The service is very hospitable, as a nice addition, they offer free cold, refreshing tap water. Especially good in hot summer days. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Amsterdam.

The food was great - I had the Double Trouble and my wife had The Classic dish. I’ve had many gyros prior and this take on it was fresh and unique. On top of the food being good, the service was great. The guys working there were really friendly and attentive.

We go to Meat & Greek quite often. Food is amazing and the service also is remarkable. I'd like to thank Luca, Paolo and Andreea for being so kind and available.
