This park has really transformed from a “park” to a natural wilderness preserve since I was a kid. It’s for wildlife to be safe and people to respectfully observe. It’s a beautiful place that I enjoy taking my children.

I'd say this play place is mid size, but the expanse around it is large and beautiful. They have some fun toys and it's not over crowded. The benches face the play place and you can see the whole pay area from the bench.

We haven't been here since 2007, but it's a nice place to bring the kids, we enjoyed the walking paths along Clark's creek, and seeing the ducks with their babies. The playground was pretty cool, no swings but it has one of those rope webs to climb on and through, as well as spinning bucket seats. We went in the evening and it wasn't really crowded. It's a nice scenic place for a walk or family outing.

One of my favorite dog walks. You can start at DeCoursey, walk around the pond, cross the street and go into Clark Creek park...meander around there, and come back. My dog likes to take a cool off in the creek before we head home.

There's a wonderful gravel path where you cross two little bridges, can access two docks, and the pond's edge. You can't feed the ducks, but they are very lively and fun to watch. There are many benches to sit and rest, and covered picnic tables. The playground is a good one too, with slides for both big and little kids, and a climbing dome. There are restrooms but they were locked; unsure if that is covid related or seasonal.

Excellent loop trail around a pond. Several docks that offer good birding opportunities. Two wooden bridges and wide stone path. Parallels Clark Creek. Close proximity to North Clark Creek Park.

What a jewel in Puyallup. We wished a quiet place to enjoy nature and this park was lovely. The trees, the ducks in the pond, the other humans who visited...each and all contributed to the peacefulness of the visit.

Stopped in to walk our dog. Trail around the pond is short, but it’s right across 7th to Clarks Creek Park so we ventured that way to get a longer walk in, finishing up back in DeCoursey. Free parking, playground, and picnic pavilion onsite. Plenty of trash cans and benches around the pond in addition to the two docks. One of the cleanest parks I’ve visited in Puyallup/ Pierce Co. A variety of duck species were present and so many anti-duck signs? Great spot to birdwatch.

This is a nice little park with a loop trail. Great for parents and kids. We always have a good time here. It’s busy, but not annoyingly busy.

This is probably one of my favorite parts. Technically my other two favorite parts at one point were a part of DeCoursey Park but now have had their names changed to Clark east and west or something. This part has very nice covered picnic area, a duck pond with a trail around it, a playground playset for the children and a nice restroom facility. It also has adequate parking which many downtown businesses and attractions do not have in the city of Puyallup.

We love this playground! It's clean, everyone who shows up has been pleasant and and it even has a little walking area around a pond. The kids obviously enjoy the pond too since it also has two floating docks and there ducks everywhere! I only give it four stars though because we brought them to go fishing here for their first time (it's only for children) and the pond wasn't stocked like the website states it was and was completely empty.

Nice little park tucked away. It's along a busy road but it's very peaceful and quiet, considering that. Nice little walk around the pond with lots of trees and vegetation. Parking can be a little tight if anyone is having a gathering at the pavilion. However, can park along the street or in the good-sized lot at the other park across the street.

Great little park right by my house. One of the nicest inter urban parks I've seen. Rather on the small side though, nice paved path around the pond, which always has water foul in it no matter the time of year. Nice little footbridges on the path to go over and look at Clark's creek, where for a few years you could watch a Blue Heron every night from about 11pm till about 3/4 am. He would hang out on the Clark's creek park side of the creek and on the decoursey side, though not as often, and watch him hunt for fish and put on a display for his mate. Gorgeous HUGE BIRD!

Love this park! It's small but extremely beautiful. At certain times of year you can see salmon in the creek and pond. Baby ducklings and gosling's in spring and the occasional beaver even. I highly recommend this park for its escape to nature but also closeness to downtown puyallup. If you havent been I highly recommend. If one needs a bigger place to stretch out head right across the street to Clark's creek park. It has a cool path to hike to the top of the hill. Has a very nice off leash dog park and the beautiful Clark's creek with its pristine waters running threw it. Both places are very peaceful and serene.

DeCoursey Park is always a favorite place to visit. It's beautiful open grassy area to play or just sit and read. The walking path is a must on every visit, especially to watch the ducks swim in the water that borders the path.

My high school class has chosen DeCoursey Park for many years as a place where we can get together for our outdoor reunion picnic. The park has a wonderful covered picnic area, clean restroom nearby, a children's play area, a pond with ducks and a nice walking trail. A true gem.

Great little park. Never too busy. We love that the creek is close by and has a nice trail along side it. Sometimes you can see salmon swimming in the water as well.

My "get a way from the world" walk spot that's close to home. Very well maintained park with trails. My Dog loves the dog park too 💓
