Hidden Gem Alert: Bumped into an authentic Armenian Bistro in Mar Mikhael and I honestly loved every single detail. I loved how natural, simple, cozy, and friendly the whole environment was. It literally felt like home, you just feel the passion and effort spent on every detail. One thing I also noticed is that the owner was there, and he was literally observing and making sure that every single customer is satisfied. To be honest this was something that you don't find elsewhere. As for the food, we tried the Sujok, the basterma rolls, and the Manti all of which I highly recommend. For the prices we also had wine; we paid around 900,000 for 3 people which I believe is a very fair price!

Lovely Armenian restaurant. The food was delicious. The service was great, the restaurant staff spoke English as well as Armenian and Arabic, I would assume French as well. This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, I will definitely eat here again. They had a beautiful outdoor patio which on a Friday or Saturday night might require reservations and beautiful Armenian art hanging inside. The music was just perfect for dinner. They also have their own Seza wine!

Lovely little restaurant offering a fusion between lebanese and armenian cuisines. Owner and personnel are very friendly and food is tasty. I have found that the hummus and tabouleh are a bit contraversial as they had a lot of spices in them, but the rest was delicious. Highly recommended!

Overpriced and not feeling well after dinner! Meze was OK, nothing more. In my food there was way to much salt and it did not taste at all - we did not finish our food, that never happens and foremost not for THAT prices! Also the service was really bad and unfriendly. We had high hopes because of the nice ambiente, but after the dinner I am even feeling sick now. Disappointing!

This place is really cute. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Food comes in big portion. Complimentary desserts are sweet. Don’t remember the name of the roast beef, but would 120% recommend it. Flavorful but not heavy at all.

This place is unbelievable one of the best restaurants in Lebanon. It’s small but the ambience of the restaurant is fantastic. Armenian family work in the restaurant and I know one of them his name Manuel. Come to the restaurant in the night and you see what I mean.

Very nice variation from Lebanese cuisine. Armenian specialties. Nice service. Modern paintings give color to the room. Terrasse very cosy. Not too far from the 'Emigrant statue'.

Seza Bistro Arménien is an absolute culinary gem nestled in the heart of Gemmayze, Beirut. As a connoisseur of Armenian cuisine, I can confidently say that Seza Bistro offers an outstanding dining experience that combines excellent Armenian food with a traditional and inviting atmosphere. The first thing that struck me about Seza Bistro was its location. Situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Gemmayze, it's right in the heart of the action. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist exploring the city, you'll find it conveniently accessible. The charming surroundings only add to the overall appeal of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. Seza Bistro truly excels in delivering authentic Armenian flavors. From mouthwatering kebabs to delectable mezzes, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. The menu offers a wide variety of choices for both vegetarians and meat lovers, ensuring that everyone's palate is satisfied. What sets Seza Bistro apart is its commitment to preserving the traditional Armenian atmosphere. The warm and welcoming ambiance, coupled with tasteful decor, transports diners to another time and place. It's like a brief escape to Armenia itself. The attentive and friendly staff add to the overall positive experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to assist in making selections that suit your preferences. In summary, Seza Bistro Arménien is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional Armenian dining experience in a traditional setting. The combination of excellent food, a central location, and a warm atmosphere makes it a standout restaurant in Beirut.

Their restaurant is looking very nice from the outside but it is unfortunately the worst food I've ever eaten in whole Beirut. I returned my food to the kitchen as it was absolutely uneatable (and I am really not picky at all!). Although I spoke to the waiter I did not get any replacement in return at all. I even had to pay for my dish, even though I didn't eat it! The waiters did not make any effort to find a solution for the problem. I really can not recommend this place at all.

Cute little place, hidden in Mar Mikhael neighborhood. Staff is friendly, food was good, with normal prices. The dessert was on the house and it is a nice gesture of them.

Such a charming place! It was my first time trying Armenian food, so I will have to try more before I comment on the food. But it was nourishing and soothing to my stomach! A bit on the pricey side, but I enjoyed my experience! I love the building/set up. I say it's a good place to bring friends and to try something new!

Beautiful, cozy hole in the wall Armenian restaurant. Our hotel is just around the corner and we wanted a quick dinner before we ended the night. We ordered some mezze and two mains and all the dishes were fresh, made with high quality ingredients. I would recommend the Armenian salad which is really similar to a Mexican salsa! It was tomato based with a nice spicy kick. The chicken liver and moutabbal were also noteworthy. The manti however wasn’t great, it was lacking in flavor and arrived cold. Overall, I would recommended the restaurant for the atmosphere and service, not as much for all the dishes.

Smart service and nice atmosphere. Ask your waiter what's worth ordering your first time in. He/she won't street you wrong.

We were staying at an Airbnb nearby and randomly parked in front of the restaurant so we decided to have a quick diner there, great decision. The place is extremely welcoming, the service is perfect and the waiter was super nice, food came very fast and was as tasty as it gets! Would recommend anytime!

Nice Armenian restaurant in Mar Mikhael. Not my favourite Armenian meal but a cosy restaurant The mantis and the itch was tasty. The atmosphere is cute and intimate. Service is friendly. I personally prefer the Armenian restaurants in Bourj Hammoud, however Seza is a good alternative. Please add the Basterma and egg quail dish to the menu! :)

Pros: Very cozy ambience and lighting (try the outdoors in winter 👌🏻) Food is very tasteful, we ordered the nakanek, spring rolls, kebba nayyeh (amazing!) and the manti. Staff is very polite and friendly. The owner was attendant and passed by each table every now and then to ensure satisfaction (with a friendly smile). Cons: Only a little overpriced for the quantity, but you get the quality you desire!
