This
is
not
a
full
extensive
review,
but
this
pub
boasted
the
best
french
onion
soup
in
Quebec
City.
I
only
had
the
one,
but
it
is
by
far
my
favourite
french
onion
soup
I
have
had.
I
don't
have
this
dish
often,
but
in
Toronto,
they
don't
do
this
dish
justice.
The
soup
is
hot,
fresh
from
the
pot,
cheese
is
crispy
and
gooey,
but
the
baguette
or
bread
they
use
wasn't
fully
maintained.
Maybe
just
me
though.
When
you
eat
the
soup,
it
is
an
actual
onion
like
broth,
there
is
a
clean
finish
to
every
bite,
and
the
cheese
is
tasty.
I
wish
I
spent
more
time
eating
this
Canadian
dish.
The
pub
itself
seems
like
a
historic
building,
almost
a
dungeon,
but
not
dingy.
The
seating
in
the
side
room
looks
a
little
cramped
but
we
got
to
sit
close
to
the
bar.
Staff
were
friendly,
despite
our
lack
of
French.
It
seems
like
a
solid
spot
for
drinks,
but
maybe
not
for
everyone.
If
you
look
dark
historic
building
vibes,
it
should
fit
your
fancy.
