Stumbled upon this place when looking for a late afternoon drink and meal on a rainy day. It must have been our lucky day because it was fantastic. Great selection of beers with friendly bar staff offering tastings to help choose from the varied selection. Soup of the day (turnip and lentil) was unusual, but awesome. Nachos were the best I have had in a long time (make sure you ask them to include the pulled ribs) and the quality of the dried sausage was way better than I expected. The building itself is very nice with some quite fancy features. I would be happy to recommend to anyone.

The best place to get craft beer!! They have so many options. You can try the tasting menu with 4 types of beer. The hamburger is also incredible, the meat was the best and the fries are insanely delicious. There’s a vegan burger as well. A nice vibe, everyone is friendly and bilingual, there’s no problem if you don’t speak French. The service is fast even if the place is full.

This one was my fav place to hang out during our stay in Quebec City. The place had nice chilled out vibes and you could hang around for hours just watching people passing by. One of the nights right across the street in front of the church there was a group of people/band who started singing and playing music and it was an impromptu little party right in the middle of the street, the entire place was filled with excitement and a huge crowd was gathered singing and dancing.

This was our favourite food spot throughout our trip to QC. We were in QC on a Monday/Tuesday when food options are sparse. We had made no advance reservations. We had a lot of very average food before finding Le Projet, so we were thrilled to walk through the welcoming doors. The staff was very friendly and informative (and bilingual). Great choice of beer, we got six 5oz samples to share. For food we opted for the pulled pork poutine and brusselsprout caesar salad. We thought these would be a perfect snack to share before our later dinner plans. The portions were generous and very filling, so much so that we cancelled our later dinner. The poutine was piled high with cheese curds, so many, that I hate to admit, we had to leave a few behind. The best part is this experience was less than 70$ with a generous tip included. The other mediocre meals in the trip cost far more than this. Not a tourist trap, a hidden little gem we feel lucky to have found!

Would return, would recommend. Large blackboards full of different beers and ciders. A great focused menu with gastropub elements. Fish and Chips are a highlight, with perfectly fried chips, perfectly fried crispy fish that isn't oily or soggy. Tartare sauce is delicious and wish they come with a larger serving. The cheese board is a hit and miss - smoked duck amazing, olives were old, salmon was delicious, cheese was a miss, cured meats delicious. Mushroom was kind of random and not properly browned. Overall I think you will have an amazing time here exploring their selection of brew.

A lot of draft beer, the poutine is very good for the peice, I added pulled porc for 3$, totally worth! Good place to take a beer and eat with friends.

" Menu in first pic " Very nice and friendly staff. I ordered the wings with a veggie burger and both were on point for the piece it was! Beer served cold and we had a perfect view by the window! Very nice and pleasant night out

Fulfilling food but the service can be a bit slow because of how busy it gets. Extra points for the free wifi and it's password on the board without having to check in with your email.

Lou was beyond accommodating! As a tourist with English as my only language, navigating the city can be hectic. Lou made the experience worthwhile and comfortable! Thank you

Fantastic spot for a beer (didn’t have any food). Wide selection of beers and ciders and multiple options on size, so it’s easy to try multiple ones. And the waiter/bar-tender was super helpful. Highly recommend for a beer!

It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The food was awesome, beer was good, and the staff were really nice. Highly recommend!

Incredibly friendly service, excellent choice of local beers (29 when we visited), and the food is great. Outside of the walls, this is a great little spot for a quick snack and some beers to recover from a long day of walking the old city. Staff is great. We had a wonderful time.

Great food and beer. The Smash burger was amazing and the Red ale was delicious. The staff was very pleasant and provided excellent service.

Went both at the recommendation of our host and because it just looked so inviting. This was perhaps the highlight restaurant of our vacation - a PHENOMENAL selection of local beers and drinks paired with excellent food (the best poutine we had). Staff were friendly and entertaining, and the ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. Despite my love of trying new places, I still returned before leaving. If you're trying to avoid tourist traps and want an authentic local bar, you cannot go wrong with Le Projet!

Best selection of beer in Quebec city! This place is definitely a must go for anyone who likes beer. Their small but special menu of food is also interesting, but really, it’s all about the beer. Their selection is really special and you can get beers in different sizes, so it’s perfect for trying out different ones. And the service is always friendly. This might be my favorite bar in all of Quebec!

I loved this place!!! It’s always such a struggle to find decent ciders and here they had 5 local ones. It didn’t get to try them all...but the ones I had were excellent Never got around to the beers, but they appeared to have a good selection Food wise - I got the Caesar salad w/t chicken and side of fries. Both tasty and would have again Latest menu attached

Great place. Asked for a certain type of beer and they were able to make some suggestions on a similar beer. Food came out quickly, hot and it was great. It is simple pub food done really well. Our server Annabelle was fantastic! Unassuming place from outside, have no fear go in!

A little hidden gem I Quebec City. 🙏🏼😁 Many great beers and ciders - that changes every day - written on a huge blackboard on the wall… you can get a “tasting menu” with 4 beers so you can have a little of everything… you MUST try the sour ones… wow wow wow. 😁🍻 You can also eat there… not the biggest menu… but most of it is very good. 😁 maybe the best burger in town served with HOMEMADE fries 🙏🏼 but then again the fried chicken is one of the worst I’ve ever had… tasteless and uninspired… they should take it off the menu… if I only had that I wouldn’t return… the chili/spicy mayo served with it was amazing though…! BUT then again one bad thing doesn’t make the place bad… the salmon tatare was very good and the fish and chips was very very good… so all in all a very nice place with good food, amazing beers and nice service. Take a moment to treat yourself with a visit 😁

Beer list is impressive, food menu - not that much. Very crowded and highly popular. It is quite OK but i am not sure it was worth the time we've waited in the line though. Beers are served real fast though! Service is really good, with jokes and everything.

Came here to grab a regular latte and a pumpkin spice latte, it was great. The girl that helped us was very friendly and polite, I would definitely like to come again and sit in. The place is very nice!
