Came across this place while walking in Québec city around 10 PM in search for food. They had a live music performance which was really good! The staff is really pleasant (like everywhere throughout Québec). Our waitress was excellent and gave us perfect suggestions. We tried their Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala (both come with a side of raita, rice/salad and naan. They have a good selection of cocktails as well. For desserts, I would definitely recommend their Cheesecake Donut and Molten Chocolate cake.

We had a great breakfast here. A day later, we went back for drinks around 8pm which was a Sunday evening. We were told a party of 20 plus was coming in and to come back in about 30 minutes and they "may" have space available. Very weird. Felt we were being discriminated against and wanted 20+ year olds. Owner should see this.

The music was loud so it was hard to talk, but the performers were very amazing, especially the woman with purple hair. I don’t think there is anything special about the food, maybe English food is just not that delicious. The waitress was very nice and patient.

Great food and great atmosphere! My husband had the fish and chips and I had the roast beef sandwich. Both meals were quite good!

The ambiance was very nice. Music was a bit too loud. Bartenders were entertaining to watch and very nice. Good service and the beer cider was very good.

I had the steak frite which I do not recommend. It was a low quality piece of meat, extremely chewy, bland and dry. The wine based sauce was good though Despite the food, the decor and vibe is pretty amazing.

What a find in Quebec! The fish and chips were excellent. They serve several choices of fish and batters. There's a walk in fridge with a huge selection of beers. Had an excellent gose and kettle sour. The server was very helpful. There was live music when we arrived for late lunch.

The restaurant is located really close to the hotel that we stay at, the Pur hotel. It’s basically just across the street. They have a really nice patio during the summertime and a really cosy interior decorated with picture frames of famous English people, such as David Bowie, the queen, and so on . They have a really Cool concept for thé beers 🍻 , where they have a huge fridge where you can select your own (as shown in the video). You basically walk into a large refrigerator and select the type of beer that you want bring it back to your table and the server unlocks the top so that you can pour it in a glass. On one occasion, The service was a little slow, especially to get dessert and the bill. The server never came back to ask us if we wanted more drinks. However, more often than not, they have great servers with really fast service. We’ve had the beef Wellington, the flank steak, the lamb, and all the dishes were very delicious. Food was good and so was the ambiance, there was live music 🎼 that night.

Amazing place! The live music was an added bonus. The food was outstanding and the self serve walk in beer cooler was a fantastic idea.

Stunning pub in the heart of Quebec City with a very impressive selection of beer. My coworkers and I came here last year and returned this year as we all had a great experience. Unfortunately, my fish and chips were burnt to a crisp, as close to black as you can get with deep-fried food. Our server disappeared after dropping the food off; I had enough time to eat the entire plate of fries while waiting for her to check on us. I would definitely not recommend the food. My coworker had the same issue with his fish, and another coworker ordered a steak that was covered in a sauce he really did not like as well.

Great food, generous portions and nice atmosphere. There is often live music, and they have tons of drinks. You can even chose your own microbrewery beer from the walk-in fridge! The staff is nice and the place is overall comfortable. I would definitely go back both for food or just a drink!

Dear Manager, So that you can determine who your hostess was; today, Tuesday September 28 at approximately 6 30, your hostess was impatient and terribly rude to us because we did not speak and understand her french. She said "You are in Quebec, we speak french here". We chose not to stay because of this insult, and other rude remarks she made, and when I said we were leaving she said "We dont have room for you here", which was a further insult. As a direct result of her distaste for English speaking people, you have lost our business, our referrals, and rating.

Fillet means no bones and the walleye is not walleye. Kudos to server for replacing it with a different fish (cod). That was fired in old oil, and the fries were soggy and tasted bitter/sour, again an indication of old frying oil. Even as a pub, don't know know this place is rated as high as it is. Not recommended.

We really enjoyed our last evening in Quebec having drinks and dinner at London Jack. The cocktails were excellent, especially my Gimlet, and the beer selection was notable. As for food, the Indian choices were fantastic, flavourcwas great, quantities generous and looked good as well as being very tasty. Our server was friendly and made good suggestions as well.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. There is an excellent array of beers and the food is great too. Only comment would be it portrays itself as an English Pub in its name but the menu is only in French. Our daughter has allergies and we need to be able to read the ingredients. Overall this place is very nice

Terrible service... Ordered Stella got something totally different ... After complaining they were ok bringing me Stella just to bring me another unknown beer ... I got charged for both even though I didn't order what they brought me nor drank it... Not to mention burned burgers... Stay away.. P.S. London Jack yet they don't have menu in English...

We had an excellent experience at London Jack! We were served by Sabrina who was very friendly and had great recommendations. The drinks were amazing (herbal mule and british smash) and we both agreed the nachos were the best we’ve ever had! A must visit when you’re in Quebec City. We wish we had one in Montreal!

Went there to celebrate a birthday on a Boxing Day. The place was half empty but by the time we left, there were many people there. They have a nice variety of beers in the fridge and my Irish coffee was tasty as well. Fish and chips was a bit overcooked but the appetizers, the burger and a dessert were delicious. Overall, the place might be a bit pricey but we enjoyed our time there. It's definitely worth visiting at least once.

Today was my husband birthday and we ordered food from this restaurant, the fish and ships are ok, but the cod was terrible with a burned taste, the pea pure terrible, and the vegetables like this: 2 carrots, 2 asparagus, 2 zucchini slices. Deception. Stale. High price for what we get.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food. Went there tonight, waited at our seat for 10-15 min and not a single person showed up to even speak to us. I don’t think I need to say anymore.

The pub is a nice spot to have a beer on tap, but start ordering anything else and you'll be sure to bust your night out budget after a couple of drinks. Everything in their craft beer fridge is very expensive (we're talking products that you can get in almost any gas station for a third of the price). Their signature martinis go for 16$ for about 3 ounces of liquid. One time, my girlfriend accidentally spilled one of those and they charged her for another one. So, eventhough the place is fun to hang out at, I can't possibly recommend a bar so concerned with milking so much out of their costumers.

We visited here for a mini vacation from Walkerton, Ontario. The food was great. I had the beef sandwich and my wife opted for fish and chips. Our bartender was Thomas, he was very friendly, knowledgeable about beer, drinks and the menu. I really appreciated his recommendation on the craft beer selections as I am also a fan of IPAs. Hats off to him. Great guy. I also had the pleasure of talking with Marianne, also a very friendly person. Thanks for making our experience a really good one. I will recommend any of my friends that visit Quebec City to come here.

Really enjoyed my chicken tikka masala. Worthy of a Weatherspoon's curry club, albeit a tad more expensive than back home.

We ordered a burger and fish. Our experience confirmed what many other reviewers said. Lots of tiny bones all over the fish. You couldn't comfortably have a bite without being scared of getting some bones trapped in your throat. Both burger and fish were burnt on one side (looked like the cook left the kitchen for too long). Our dishes were half uneaten and the waiter still didn't bother to ask if there are any problems. And the atmosphere .... oh gosh. Many highly intoxicated lads. We saw several inappropriate drunkard behaviors but it seemed like it's a routine for this place (since the waiters were approving of it if not participating). The music was extremely loud. The clientale is young drunk care free hipster type. Not a place to dine or enjoy a drink with company.

This restaurant is great. I had the London Double Smashburger, which was so good. We also came again for breakfast because it was near where we're staying and the breakfast was good as well. I like that you can create your own breakfast. They also have a huge selection of craft beer; you can walk into a large cooler and select a can from over 50 different selections of local beer to enjoy at the restaurant. The wait staff were very attentive and we had no problem getting a table on the outside patio, though we did go at off mealtimes, so I can't speak for how busy they get during the dinner rush.
