Overall rankings: Taste - 5/5, Presentation - 5/5 and Portion 5/5 This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to! From the service, to the atmosephere/vibe, to the gluten-free setting and of course the presentation/portion/taste of the food everything was amazing! For our meal we had the Homemade Chicken Corndog, Cajun Chicken, Pulled Chicken and Chocolate Cake! Homemade Chicken Corndog - this was beautifully done, as it was cooked perfectly inside but still a light crispy finish to the corndog on the outside. Along with the dip it came with, it was such a great starting app. The entrees with the two chicken meals were incredible. The were big portions, cooked perfectly from the buns to the chicken and all the ingredients were fresh and perfectly placed. The fries and salad also just were great and made everything even better, Finally, we had the chocolate cake, which was such a great way to finish the meal. It was so soft and moist and sweet and delectable. We could not get enough of it and was such a perfect experience. Whenever we come back to Quebec CIty we will always come back here!

Amazing gluten free find in Quebec City. I heard about this from a gluten free American blogger and booked in advance. After coming the first night and enjoying the food so much (I had the bruschetta, salmon with fries and vegetables and the creme brulee) I booked again for a second night and had the fried cheese sticks, Cajun burger and cheesecake. The service is a little slow so be prepared but we loved all the food and it was definitely worth the wait.

Fantastic place to eat if you are Celiac or not. Staff are amazing, food is extremely impressive for being 100% gluten free. If you are a fan of breaded appies you can’t have a most places ( corn dogs, calamari, chicken fingers etc) is just like a normal one. Very special place. Make time to eat here and support them.

We had a really great meal at a reasonable price! Quebec restaurants being super pricey this was a fabulous find! Food was delicious and portions were big! Service was excellent and the server was extremely accommodating for us English speakers! I would definitely recommend this place! We had the French Onion soup, mini corn dogs, Tomato risotto, wild boar burger and maple cream brulee!

We decided to try Veravin mainly because the gluten free menu... Justin who took care of us was very friendly and welcome...food was good (we tried beef and salmon burgers) but nothing extraordinary (we are difficult gourmets though). The place is clean and Covid19 protocol was respected. Only 3 stars because the sitting is not very comfortable: table are a little too low and the place where we were sitting was next to a black steel structure supported by rags... not the best landscape let's say. See photos.

We had reservations for 6:30 and arrived at 6:27, we were seated quickly and ordered appetizers and drinks, which arrived quickly. After ordering it took almost two hours to receive our food and the staff didn't warn us about the wait. Our server was nice but other than that everything else was below average.

We were absolutely impressed with the meal we had here. We are three gluten intolerant diners and one of us is also dairy and egg sensitive too. There was great attention paid to making sure we all had a lovely meal and service was communicative and knowledgeable about our needs. We were so happy we promptly booked for a second visit! There are a few reviews here complaining about speed of service but know all dishes are made fresh to order here. No reheated food from a bag in this quality establishment. They do it right. Take your time and enjoy a nice evening at Veravin. You won't regret it!

Fabulous gluten free restaurant! What a pleasure to be able to select anything from the menu and not worry about cross contamination. Our party of 4 had the pulled chicken sandwich, risotto, Mac and cheese, corn dogs, onion rings, French fries, salad and soup and everything was delicious. I just wish we had had room for dessert. Perhaps the best compliment is that my three non-celiac dining companions all agreed you would never know we were eating 100% gluten free. The owner and staff were super friendly too.

If you are a Celiac family, this is the best place on earth. It is the first time my 8 year old boy could order whatever he wanted. I would give it a million stars if I could. Thank you.

We had an overall tremendous experience. The food was delicious, especially the onion rings! Whether you have a gluten allergy/sensitivity or not, I highly recommend giving this a try. We will certainly be coming back next time we are in town.

Traveled from the US to Quebec and had to visit Veravin as a person with Celiac. It's a breathe of fresh air to have EVERYTHING on the menu available to order with no worry of cross contamination.

All in all a nice restaurant. Food was good and the staff kind. And everything is gluten free. The only negative thing: The vegetarian burger was already sold out and we were the second guests so that was kinda weird.

Excellent restaurant that’s entirely gluten free. The staff is kind and attentive and the drinks were great too. I had the duck poutine and loved it! Will definitely be a new staple the next time I’m in town.

Wonderful dinner expel. Delicious food, careful and thoughtful service . Highly highly recommend, especially for anyone with food allergies. MY family loved their food too.

Food was great. We waited over an hour and a half between the time we ordered and the time our entrees were delivered. Great concept but if they can’t fix this they will fail.

Exceptional food and 100% Gluten free menu. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Did I mention it's affordable on top of it all?

What a lovely restaurant. Marie was so so sweet and attentive. The food was phenomenal. My girlfriend and I were in town from the United States on spring vacation and this was our favorite place by far. I cannot say enough! I truly cannot wait to come back.

The setting is not fancy but it's casual and laid back. It was quite hot inside the bar/lounge so we decided to sit on the patio to catch the cool breeze. The food however was great. It's what this restaurant is known for. Yes almost everything on the menu was 100% gluten free and lactose free. We couldn't believe we were eating real bread and cheese that was safe for people with intolerances and allergies. We almost wanted to order everything on the menu.

Definitely the best gluten free restataurant in QC, with a variety of options and an interesting selection at the bar as well!

Their dinner menu was appealing but their breakfast that was included with our hotel stay not so much. The staff were good and service was alright.

My wife and I had the great pleasure of a meal on the patio of this fabulous restaurant. They were incredibly accommodating by letting us sit on the patio because we have our dog with us on our road trip. The food was fantastic, service was also fantastic. Will definitely be back before we go back to Toronto.

Great gluten free options. Food was good, service ridiculously slow due to a late staff shortage. Expect it is usually a great experience.

Back after 2 years under new management. In short, amazing. 100% gluten free kitchen. We started with duck drumsticks and the olive/nut/meat appetizers. The duck was sweet and spicy with a good amount of meat on the bone. The cured meats were delicious and the olives were to die for. Nuts are a nice appetizer dessert with caramelization. Wife had a black velvet which she said was great and it was a full pint. For dinner, we shared a single fish n chips and a duck blue cheese poutine. The fish n chips was, I'm not kidding, the best I've ever had gluten free or regular. It was incredible. The single is two sizeable pieces, the double gets you 4. I could have eaten a double but we would have died and gone to heaven. The duck blue cheese poutine was also really good but, honestly, the blue cheese flavour was lacking. They convinced us that dessert was on the menu so we had the chocolate mousse cake. Decadent with a fudgey base, mousse middle and ganache top with chocolate drizzle and fruits on the side. Big portion. All of that came to about $80 after tax and before tip which was sizeable because the service was great. Slow but we knew that coming in from experience. Expect 1.5-2 hours for your meal. Finally, their Covid protocol was really good. Santizer, panels to separate joined tables, masks off when you're sitting and on when you're up. This was our first restaurant meal since June 2020 and we felt really safe (we're a bit paranoid). P.S. they're only open Wed-Sat in the evening which is a shame. Can't wait til we can go there for every meal to clear the menu.

We ate here tonight as my hubby has a severe gluten intolerance and was delighted he could eat almost EVERYTHING on the menu! Wow! We were just looking for a decent dinner and Le Veravin completely exceeded our expectations! We started with the olives, hard salami and spicy candies walnut appetizer as well as the pate which was made of venison with cornichons and sweet onions. The flavours were exceptional as was the homemade GF bread that came with the pate! For our mains, I had the flank steak and Jim had the rib steak with green peppercorn sauce. I think mine was the better meal but both were delicious and perfectly cooked medium rare. The shoestring frites are not to be missed! A good wine selection, attentive but not overbearing service and the cool jazz music at a perfect volume on the sound system really made for an exceptional meal. Highly recommended!

I went here over the weekend and ordered mac n cheese which was very bland. My partner ordered a burger with fries. Burger was dry and fries were overcooked. Staff was friendly and drinks were good.

MUST TRY!!! I love this place!! Mary who is the owner is super nice. Food was wonderful! All staff was friendly. Best poutine I’ve had! I’d give ten stars if I could. Love it!!

Edit: I have visited the restaurant since the revamp and it was great. The staff was so friendly and the food was out of this world. The menu is 100% gluten free. I was able to eat so many different things that I normally can’t eat because it’s full of gluten. If you are in Quebec I strongly recommend this gem. Their menu is 98% gluten free which is amazing since I have celiacs diseases and did not have to worry of getting contaminated and sick. The service was very slow but the waitress was alone and that was not her fault. She did the best she could and was very nice and courteous. I had not had calamari in so long and I have to say they tasted delicious. It was so good that my bestfriend and I asked for a second appetizer of calamari since the portion was pretty small. However they had no more left and I was so disappointed because I am from Montreal and I rarely have the chance to eat this. This just gave me more room for desert. The food was amazing which compensated for the very long wait.

Run don’t walk to this restaurant! Stopped here on our last day in Quebec since the restaurant was attached to our hotel. We were warmly welcomed and accommodated even though we didn’t have a reservation. We ordered light fare and drinks. The beet salad was presented beautifully and tasted fresh. The soup of the day was sweet potato soup and this ended up being my wife’s favorite meal of the trip. I ordered the onion soup. This was my fourth version of this on our trip. I am not about a soup loaded with bread and cheese and the way this was served with the bread and cheese separately was perfect. The broth and onions were perfect. I came to find out it was gluten free bread and this restaurant is only one of two gluten free restaurants in Quebec. We came to find out our server was also the owner and was awesome and very accommodating. Don’t let a “gluten free” restaurant deter you from this establishment. I am a meat and bread guy and I will make it a point to return to this restaurant when we return to Quebec. Highly recommended!
