Eat like the rich and famous! The ambience and service definitely made me feel special throughout our experience. Now the food - best plated lunch in Quebec for sure. The duck confit was tasty but it is the veggies that shine. Was told that all greens were grown on site. Just full of flavour. A starter is included with the main. I substituted with octopus with a small addition. It was lovely - tender, seasoned just nice. Enjoyed it with a glass of Bourgogne. Overall, I highly recommend this hidden gem which seems to have greatly improved since renovations in 2019. Price was very reasonable and comparable to most restaurants in old Quebec.

Came here after the free guided tour of the Parliament Building. Fine dining for a steal! 3 course tasting menu with a coffee/tea for only $30. Exquisite plating and presentation, and I was told they try to use locally sourced products.

We had lunch there as we had just finished our visit and it was raining. I completely recommend having lunch here before or after a visit. It was the best meal we had in a while. First, the setting is amazing. It is a beautiful room at the heart of the national assembly of Quebec. Staff are efficient and really friendly. The entrance of the day was a mushroom mousse. It was presented superbly, had a lots of different textures and tastes. Absolutely stunning. The picanha was really tasty and so we're the deserts. It was the best Paris Brest I ever had.

(Translated by Google) Inside the building of the National Assembly of Quebec, the parliamentary restaurant shows a great lesson in democracy since it is accessible to the public. Not only will you have lunch under the gilding, sculptures and colonnades of this building, but you will be pleasantly installed. You will have lunch with crockery stamped National Assembly with the fleur-de-Lys. You will have the choice of fresh and homemade dishes revealing the gastronomy of Quebec accompanied by fine wines from Quebec or for the French parliamentary cuvée. In short, for 22 Canadian dollars excluding taxes and tips, you will have a starter, a discovery dish with 3 suggestions included, a dessert and a coffee. The glass of wine is around 8 Canadian dollars. In short, if you want to taste a real gourmet meal, homemade and fresh products, you will not find better than this restaurant. Take advantage on this day if you are tourists to visit the parliament with a guide in French or English. The visit is completely free. In short, I highly recommend the visit and the restaurant!

We had a lunch after guided tour. We have chosen table d'hote for two persons. For 44 CAD each of us got an appetizer, three small dishes, dessert and coffee. The meal was a sort of fusion cuisine, with many elegant small touches, such as sea buckthorn berry in dessert. All in all, better value than most restaurants in old city. Strongly recommended.

Very difficult to find the right entrance after hours. Beautiful hall. Food was just ok, veal overcooked.

Went there during my Parliament visit and loved it! The place is so beautiful and impressive. The food was great and I loved the fact that eveything was made with local produces. I will come back that's for sure.

One of the most flavourful meals I’ve ever had, in the most beautiful surroundings imaginable, with the finest and most elegant service: a magnificent meal fit for a king, yet it cost less than eating at the trashy tourist traps just down the street.

Beautiful location but the vegetarian pasta was nothing to write home about. The other entrees looked a lot better.

The setting is lovely and the table well appointed. It was quiet and a pleasant atmosphere. The wine was mediocre and way over priced. We took the special menu of local products "Iles de la Madeleines". The soup - clam based was bland and not warm enough. The canned clam chowder I've bought is better. The main course: the galete de harang was undercooked and doughy - the crust was non-existant. The loup marin was rubbery and tasteless. The salad was a mystery - only the hazelnuts had flavour. and the dessert. A lovely cheese similar to Pont l'Eveque was placed on a gluey jam mixture that clashed horribly with the cheese. Once scraped away the cheese was good. The bread served with it was so small that I didn't taste it with the jam. Even the coffee was not as good as the last time we were here. Way over priced for the quality. We left hungry. It's our third visit. We won't be back.
