Like the other locations, the food is good but we had some issues at this location. It was packed and we found plastic in our food. There are no toilets at this location. We did get a quick and easy refund for the salad with plastic in it.

Great location near the plaza. Loved the couple of bar seats facing the window to the plaza. Plug ins available for a laptop. Good coffee and lots of baked goods.

Nice place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful view of the square while having something to eat and drink. We went for a Cortado and a vegan pizza. The cortado was nice and the pizza was good as well except for the outer crust which was a little too much exercise for the teeth. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. They have outdoor seating which is great, especially during summer or fall season. The entrance door is a little tricky to open and hit me up here as if it is jammed but you just need to give a little more push. There is a separate door for exit. Enjoyed the place overall.

This buttery croissant is to die for. Super soft and fluffy that make me want to order more. Macarons is just a amazing flavour that I have no words. Highly recommended to try out!

Great coffee! And I mean really good! The croissant was a bit on the greasy side with the cheese and was good. Sitting on the patio in the presence of 300+yr old building was priceless.

Cute little spot to grab a pastry and a coffee in old Quebec City. Service was a bit slow and it was tough to find a table but our pastries and drinks were hot and delicious. Would definitely go back if we were in the area.

What a place! I would’ve given more stars if there was a such option. Music playing in the background, calm attitude of employees and best service creates such positive and soothing vibes. Staff is so friendly and helpful while taking and serving orders. Definitely recommend and will come back for sure whenever I pass through Quebec city

Small but mighty! A small cute cafe with a limited but delightful and delectable selection of desserts, sandwiches and coffee. Had the Apple Turnover, Key Lime Pie, Pistachio Latte (very unique ad refreshingly different flavor), and Cappucino. You can request them to warm the baked goods, else the cold tempersature doesnt do justice to the flavour. Especially since its freezing cold temperatures (-12 deg celsius today).

cute ambiance but the matcha latte is too watered down as well as the coffee in my opinion. the staff were nice though. outdoor seating available.

Decent drinks and good looking pastries and baked goods. Definitely worth it for lighter breakfast or dinner on the go. Looks like a good spot to do some WiFi work away from home. Prices are in line with most coffee house/specialty bakeries. Had a hazelnut latte and almond croissant.

A cland and.cemtral spot. Food was great. We got the seafood chowder and clams with fries for the adults and kids got spaghetti. A great little spot close to all the touristic spots. We ate and got grounded and enjoyed the ambient environment. Thanks for hospitality

Such a cute little coffee shop near the church. COFFEE: freshly brewed and good quality. PASTRY: I came in later in the afternoon so not much things left. The macaroons and puff pastry were great. I wish I could try more pastry there. VIBE: it can't be more French vibe than this. The place has really nice decor. I was sitting in the patio on a rainy afternoon enjoying my coffee. And the shop is on a busy street in old Quebec. This was the best experience I had at a coffee shop.

Nice little dine-in and delivery place. The hot chocolate was great. Of note, food was more expensive through delivery services, but not most beverages

Tried their Latte , french espresso macaroons and croissant. Well I was impressed with the quality of freshly baked croissant and macaroons The coffee was the best brewed I’ve ever had. Bit pricy but worth your perfect breakfast in Quebec city. The baristas were super cooperative and sweet. The best part of this cafe is that they also have souvenirs which you can gift yourself or your loved who is coffee lover . I absolutely loved their latte and don’t forget to try their almond croissant and gonococci. Macaroons displayed was so tempting and flavourful .

We took a trip here for some breakfast treats early in the morning. I am not the greatest at speaking French, and the owner let me try to do our entire order in French, which was a nice surprise. The treats are absolutely delicious, and the coffees/iced coffees were made perfectly. We really enjoyed our time here. It’s a surprisingly awesome spot to do some work, if you have your laptop handy. If you are in the area, stop by.

Ordered 2 ham and cheese croissants and 2 large drinks (late and green tea) . The taste is good but we paid almost 40$ . I think that is too much for a caffe food that is not plated in gold. Honestly i would not pay that much for the food i got. A tourist trap at its best!

i believe we went here to try and go to places featured in the kdrama the goblin... the food did not disappoint... everything we ordered were good... we sat al fresco... the weather was nice... the view of the old city was perfect... it was steps from the bustling main alley... forgot what the name was... worth a visit and in opinion the only real breakfast or brunch choice near the frontenac...

Very cute cafe and bakery in Old Quebec, the pistachio latte and the salted caramel latte were absolutely amazing, we also loved the Chou and the apple chausson. The atmosphere is very cosy but the cafe is a bit tiny so you might not always find a place where to sit.

Great bakery in old Quebec City. The coffee with maple syrup and cream is wonderful. They have a waffle with hot maple syrup that is heavenly. The macarons were perfect. This one is close to the river in a beautiful location. The service was fantastic; they answered all my questions. Every pastry looked delicious.

The coffee could've been absolutely terrible & this still would've been a great experience. With a good latte, I sat outside & it was glorious! The man playing the piano made it so peaceful & the people watching was wonderful. Maybe it's a tourist trap, but it was a wonderful afternoon sipping a latte & enjoying the peacefulness of Place Royal.

They have very good chicken pie. The coffee is quite nice as well. Very good choice for taking a rest after a long walk in the old town.

Loved this cafe chain in Quebec City. They have excellent coffee! We loved the orzo salad. Perfect for a snack in the heat. The ambiance of this particular location is magical, enjoying my coffee outside and looking onto Place Royale let me imagine all the people who occupied the space before me.

Excellent quiche Lorraine and ham croissant. Just as good tirimisu latte and chai latte. Total spent $37. A cosy place to stay warm in the old town. Don't let the negative reviews put you off.

They get one star for decent coffee, one for a decent sandwich. Other than that don't recommend unless you enjoy being ignored and talked down to. My new husband and I are in Quebec city, on our honeymoon. We stopped in for a coffee and sandwiches while exploring Old Quebec. The one lady working there, long dirty blond hair was so rude. She skipped us entirely while waiting in line and when another customer pointed us out she shrugged and said her coworker would get our order. Then she came over and asked our order, rolled her eyes at us so often I thought she might lose them, was very short with my husband even though he was ordering in French. We were obviously being signed out and don't suggest you go here unless you really are from Quebec and French speaking. It should be noted the other staff were pleasant and tried to cover for their coworkers unprofessional and rude behavior but that only goes so far. Definitely never coming back when there are plenty of other cafes that are not annoyed by tourists.

Had a waffle and coffee. Coffee was good and waffle was hard even with all the syrup on it, probably old! Service was great. The location is nice right in the square.

A great way to start the day before sight seeing around Quebec City. We enjoyed iced lattes and some baked goods. The chocolate almond croissant and the apple turnover were both delightful. The pastry is flaky and buttery, and melts in your mouth.

Yes, my favourite little place in old Quebec. Great coffee, cookies and baked goodies. The location and the ambiance enhances the charm of this place

Staff was so friendly. We ordered a sandwich and a guache. Both dishes were recently prepared and the taste was great. It was not very expensive and not too crowded. I was there for lunch and it was not crowded, a few seats were available inside.

Cute little cafe with great drinks in a great location. We asked the server which was their most popular drink and she told us one for caffeinated and decaffeinated. The l’explorateur was very refreshing and we got it multiple times during our stay in Quebec City. The salted caramel cold drink was also very tasty.

Great for a light lunch. I had Cream of Broccoli Soup, it was devine. Beautiful views to sip away at a Cappuccino or London Fog. Service was fantastic! Lovely time overall.

Really cute cafe! The key lime pie was really good! Macaron wasnt very chewy, more of a cookie texture and the pasta salad was okay. Americano wasnt so great, it tastes very mild but i think that was because of the person who was making it, not the coffee itself. Also, i thought the pistachio latte would be like matcha latte (no coffee), but this one was with coffee. The service was great!

Very nice place with great atmosphere. The coffee tasted amazing, I even bought some of their delicious coffee. The service was very nice. I would definitely visit them again on my next trip to Quebec city. I would highly recommend this place.

Great spot in La Place Royal with spectacular services and the chill winter atmosphere we were looking for.

Just simply outstanding! We went here 3 days in a row for breakfast and coffee. Matcha latte with oat milk was by far our favorite, followed closely by the dirty chai. Highlight of the foods menu is definitely the quiche. It’s the best quiche that I’ve had and I’ve eaten it in many counties in Europe, including France. Their giants croissants are just so so, flaky but not buttery as I’d normally like it.

Delicious! Tried a bunch of treats and coffee and everything was delicious. I will note though that the croissants were disappointing. They were huge and looked amazing but of all the croissants (from at least a dozen places in the last week) that we have tried in our trip to Quebec, these were our least favourite. They were okay, but did not stand up to their appearance. The apple pie, cheesecake, sandwich, cold brew, and the rest was all fantastic.
