Great place to kill couple of hours. On a trip between Montreal and Quebec city, has a lot to offer tree shade, old mansion, suspension bridge and waterfall... Couple of tips for a great picture you have to go down a lot of stairs and arrive early... About noon its turns into a zoo

Its a free-public park with benches and historical memories,a deep breath becomes incomparably simple. It’s kind of a preview before go into the old Québec. They have a scenic overlook here, a view slide down to the Place-Royale and climb up to the Fairmont Le Château. The overbridge can walks people to the petit champlain.

This park is located at the top of the Côte de la Montagne near the old town and historic area of Quebec City. Along the street and out with the steep cliff that separates the area from the old town below, there are many cannons lined up with the canal in sight.

Great, small museum, hosted by the Government of Quebec’s Park Services, detailing the history of the fortifications and armaments used to protect the city. Many interactive family events, artifacts, and re-enactment movies in both English and French. The Park Services employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Quebec and were eager to answer any questions. When visiting Old Quebec City, take a moment and drop by this museum.

Great little park with lots of history and fantastic views. There's a great view of le Chateau Frontenac, as well as the St. Lawrence river. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in old Quebec City, especially as it's right in the thick of things anyway, so you don't need to detour to check it out.

We were able to pick up Bus #800 near our apartment and ride it for the twenty minutes or so to the falls. By the time we got to the final bus stop, all riders were heading to the falls. We moved as an awkward group back down the road to the falls’ entrance, where we were processed and paid our dues (25 cent senior discount!). There’s an old lodge/chalet that serves meals and has a small gift shop and a landscaped garden leading down to the gondola. Free stairs lead down to the waterfall for the fit, but we paid our fee and chose the gondola. The falls themselves were quite lovely and full following a heavy rain and we had the extra treat of a rainbow. Several tour buses arriving during our visit, though the metropolitan bus was a cheap and easy option for us.

I've visited Montmorency in winter and spring, and it's always beautiful. The falls are spectacular from the top or the bottom. You won't be disappointed.

Obviously a must see in Quebec City. Pleasant walk around the old city with a number of good places to eat, sit and just enjoy the weather and view. Good opportunities to have an exercise as well while walking up to the fort and taking a stroll around the wall. Just a wonderful time can be spent here

I had a wonderful visit here because this place has beautiful and historic cannons used in wars of past, this park is well clean and also this place has very good and marvelous views of the cities of the old Quebec, Levis and the ferry. I recommend visiting this place when you're going to Old Quebec.

A walk with a panoramic view of the river and the highway! Bring your propane BBQ. Briquette BBQ FORBIDDEN. ± 1 KM of trail. Snack! Chips (chips) and slush / ice cream / water / really basic. Parking too expensive for what there is to see and do. (Original) À moins de vouloir essayé la tyrolienne, regarder une chute d'eau, pic nic en amoureux, il n'y a rien à y faire. (Translated by Google) Always a place that I appreciate. However a development of the site is imperative, in particular a luminous representation on the ground floor of the episcopal palace (French regime) of the parliament of Lower Canada (period dominion British) and the erection of a monument (Canada, day 1) at the precise location of the ratification of the Confederation Act, just in front of the archbishop's gate.

We walked here from Lofts Les-Billie, and the kids enjoyed it so much. There was a re-enactment of the war between the French and the British, I believe, the Brits were being “hammered” in the narratives. The crowd loved it, but hey, this is Quebec, they can say what they like, but the French took a whopping from the Brits. The process was light hearted and lots of laughs. There are very good restaurants around the place, with lots of ice cream parlours to me meet every sugar craving taste. I found the prices in the restaurants quiet reasonable, and services fantastic all in all. We ate in a different restaurant and tasted varying ice creams almost every other day on our five day stay.

This little museum and its grounds do not get the attention they deserve, which may be bad for the govt folks that track numbers of visitors, but is good for the weary tourist seeking a quiet place that lacks hordes of tourists. That is just one of its merits, the other for me was that it has so many exhibits showcasing reproduced paintings of how Quebec developed over the centuries. A diorama of the fort is the centerpiece of this endeavor. It becomes obvious, if you were not already aware, of just how much use of the upper town's natural environment in terms of the cliff faces were used to provide a natural defense. And in turn the town and many of its defensive walls grew up around the original fortifications.

So fascinating just wondering around the city, seeing the old city walls and stumbling across the old buildings and artifacts. Some restoration work in the broader area impacted a little on the total to be seen, but not on the general impressions. I noticed only afterwards that Parks Canada also offers guided tours, which could have been an enriching addition to the wandering.
