Nice & budget friendly place to start off Rock Climbing, especially for kids, because of the many possibilities (rappel climbing, ninja room & many bouldering rooms). The bouldering rooms can be fun, but the difficulty levels aren’t always fair, and sometimes there isn’t a lot of choice for people who are good but not necessarily excellent (people that are used to V3-V4 might be surprised by the difficulty of some of these courses at Roc Gyms). Cleanliness could also be improved, the mats are pretty old and don’t seemed to be cleaned too often, bathroom are OK, but a smell of urine is often noticed in the entire locker room. Overall a pleasant place to be, with a good (or the best) value for money in Quebec City.

For those looking for an atmosphere a little less fancy than the Délire. Beautiful bouldering room and route with a dynamic and friendly team

Having tried other climbing centers, I find that the center is less welcoming, I spoke to a member of staff and he denigrated the other centers, which I found to be a shame. We really felt the competition. They promote that there are new takes, but my friend, who accompanied me, who was there almost a year ago, honestly she doesn't really see any change. Plus, I think it was really hot. We didn't stay long due to this reason. Then, for the price, yes it is cheaper than other gyms but the place is not as big as other gyms. For my part, I will not return to this gym, it was not my best experience. Damage.

I like it here. But I miss the spacious and larger pre-renovation gym

The process of signing is a bit too long. And they are renovating a lot at the moment (2023-07-27) which means less routes for bouldering. Guess they need at least a few more weeks. But the price is reduced and the staff is friendly. And they have 4 machines for climbing without a second person.

Very nice place to learn climbing! They change their routes frequently which keeps it challenging and exiting. The staff is very friendly and also able to answer all questions in English.

Nice variety of walls and challenges. Kids loved it, I felt the equipment was well maintained and safe. Price is fair and affordable.

3 different spot to climb. Not much V0-V1 for beginners and having kids around is a BIG NO! Always looking around to not fall on one.... The screaming is very annoying!... The place itself is nice, but shouldn't aloud young kids...

Best place to train if you're a climbing purist that isn't looking for the overly crowded "fit everyone" type of gym. If you're climbing outside and want to build your body for your next big project route, this is the best place in the city.

Really cool gym with lots of different angles and even a top out. I question how sanitary shared chalk is, but it's super convenient. The setting is awesome and very fun, though they seem to love blocked holds and pockets. Staff is also super friendly.

Coming from toronto the staff were able to accommodate for my english with all the questions I had and made my travel that much more memorable with their friendliness. The venue has a good mix of training equipment, bouldering, top rope, and lead routes on top of some ninja warrior things, something for everyone. When I went it wasn’t busy at all so there was no problem getting on routes.

Its pretty great! The people are nice, the employees are nicer and can offer good advice, but where the two stars fall off is the building. I have been climbing there for about a year now and i have found that the lack of a/c, generally bad aeration and the age of the building offer a very hot and humid experience. In the winter, on the other hand, it is very nice. The rooms are pretty small in my opinion, which is ok, since the problems are very good and enjoyable to figure out with the other people that go there, but when they change the problems, you end up with only one room and a half. Tldr; good place, good people, very hot in summer, very small.

Kids said it was ok but much smaller than expected. They had planned to stay all day but only stayed about 3 hours.

I tore my achilles here. Staff was unhelpful with this injury. Be careful on the warped wall, there isn't a lot of padding at the lift off point. Generally chaotic layout and mismanaged.

It's great upper body exercise. Lots of fun activities to do. Highly recommend it as a challenging place to work out while having fun

Decent and affordable place to climb! It had auto belay so that's a plus. Could use some renovation.
