Our stay at the Hôtel Marie-Rollet was fantastic! The location was perfect (two blocks to the Chateau Frontenac/Dufferin Terrace and lots of eating & shopping nearby), the staff very professional, and the room immaculate. The room felt spacious with high ceilings and tall windows, had a beautiful view of trees and the park across the street, and was charming with decorative moldings and a brick accent wall--it was a pleasure returning to it after long walks through the city. The park across the street has fountains and plenty of seating to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon snack--people and well-mannered dogs frolicked in the fountains on warmer days. We look forward to returning--this hotel will be our #1 choice!

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Marie Rollet in Old Quebec City. The room was incredibly spacious, and being in a historic building added to the charm of the experience. The hotel's ambiance was delightful, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a comfortable and historic place to stay in Quebec City, Hotel Marie Rollet is a great choice!

Location is very good. However, the room we had and public areas in the building were shabby. Tiny bathroom did not include the sink which was in the main room. Also, the entrance way is very steep and narrow. Security is lax - lobby unattended at night.

My experience in this hotel was great. The lady in charge was specially nice and thoughtful of us, the place is well located and the room is really beautiful. I'm really grateful because I lost my wedding ring and of course I was deeply worried. After unpacking (some weeks later) I found it was on an envelope inside my luggage.

How can this hotel be only two stars? The decor, service, furnishings are superb! It's not for big people, that's for sure. We are just a bit overweight and barely passed through the doors into the shower. It pays to be slim, because you can enjoy this kind of a gem for the price of a motel. Roof top patio, frozen packs of ice, luxurious decor and this French taste in everything. Awesome!

The hotel was very charming and the staff were kind and welcoming. It was in the perfect location- within meters of cafes, food and entertainment. Everything in Old Quebec was within 20 min of walking. If you're looking to stay somewhere local, we would highly recommend!

10th wedding anniversary, we asked for our traditional roses, 1 red and 1 white and a bottle of bubbly, everything was perfect. We reconnected and had the perfect place to do so. We had the ½ basement room, with the windows on the street and still, very quiet. We will return. Pierre and Johanne

Wonderful hotel, excellent location and well priced. This must have been a residence originally from the 1870s or it has been a hotel since then. Beautiful high ceilings, very clean. The sink in the room is convenient but I felt badly that I might get water on the wood floor so I was very cautious. The shower and toilet is in a tight space. I didn't get to the top floor where there is a sitting area (I think that I read that). The only difficulty I had was the lack of a common indoor sitting area since it was raining/drizzling during much of my stay and I didn't really want to stay in my room. There is outdoor seating across the street which I used when there was no rain. Other than that, it is an excellent location, convenient and I would go back.

This is such a charming little hotel in Old Quebec City. You feel as though you are stepping back in time when you are here, but with modern comfort. Great location, close to restaurants and shops and easy walking throughout the historic area of Old Quebec. The terrace on the upper floor is charming, peaceful and relaxing. It was a real pleasure to stay here.

A beautifully decorated room, reminiscent of the old rooms in Paris, but with an ensuite. Tall wainscoting, exposed stone, leaded glass windows, antique retrofitted lighting, original maple flooring & luxurious bedding outfitted our room. Marble finished ceramic tiles made a cohesive upscale look in the compact but functional shower & lavatory area. We were lucky to have a 1st floor room, as there's no elevator & the stairs are steep. Entry from the street is via several steep stairs we needed to take sideways, holding the beautiful brass railing, so as not to fall when opening the inside door. Parking is not included but is available at an underground garage across the street for a nominal daily rate. We thoroughly enjoyed searching for new places to eat each of our meals & never had any problems.

If you're looking for American-style hotel, then this is probably not for you. But if you want to feel like you're staying in Europe and/or like "boutique" hotels, then this might be it. The rooms are nicely appointed and the location cannot be beat! Parking is easy (next door) and inexpensive. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My family would definitely stay here again, but know that the rooms are not large and the stairs are steep!

Great location in Old Quebec City. Walkable to all sights, shops and restaurants. Place is very central, clean, quiet, easy access and friendly staff. Felt more like staying in AB&B than a boxy hotel room.

The location is superb. The staff are very friendly. We chose the only room available which had a bathroom down the hall (private), and a double bed in the bedroom. For us, a double is too small, so we would choose a different room next time. But the room was lovely. It has a sink in it which was nice so you didn’t have to leave the room to get water. The room was well air conditioned. The terrace was lovely. The hotel is a mix of modern and old design, surely recently refurbished. Very clean. Would stay here if we come back to Quebec.

Pricey but paying for the location and boutique feel. The service was excellent, very clean, and had immense charm. The roof top deck is smaller but great place to sit and relax. Our room (I want to say 21) had two windows overlooking the street and parts of old Quebec. It was great! Be aware, if your room is on the second floor (actually third) you will have to go up two flights of stairs equalling 21 steps each. If there are mobility issues or large luggage it could be a problem. I went with my 75 year old mother who managed but as we arrived after hours we had to carry our luggage up on our own. All and in it was wonderful and I would certainly stay again. Maybe request a lower floor 🤔

This is a gem of a small boutique hotel in the heart of old Quebec. Very clean , charming , and close to everything. We booked a double bedded room with a private bathroom outside our room. This was not an issue for us at all. The room was small but had a great view of the city hall place , and good air conditioning and a small sink in the room which was very convenient. There were two flights of stairs to get to our room and a nice terrace on our floor to relax after a day of exploring the city. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this boutique hotel. The decor, service, and cleanliness were all great. The location is superb as well. The only thing is that our room in the semi-basement was very humid— definitely needs a dehumidifier as everything was a little damp. If you have asthma definitely book a room on one of the higher floors! Other than that it was good and we’ll stay here again.

Nice clean basic rooms, stylized in classic colonial style, very close to old city center and Petit Champlain. 1 min walk from multilayered public parking

Wow, we were very impressed with this hotel. Very well located, kept. The room was very very nice, very original. This is a small hotel (13 rooms) that closes at 9 and tou get a key to the front door, how amazing is that. Totally recommend it.

Stayed here for 2 nights, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The rooms are both modern and antique with great art pieces. The staff were lovely, all in all a great stay in a great location.

The location was perfect to visit old Quebec City, everything was in walking distance. Very close to the VIA train station. The decore of the hotel added to the feel of being in a historic location. The staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean. Would stay there again in the future.

Loved their hospitality. The location is spot on and all places are accessible on foot within a 10 min ealk radius. The rooms are chic and the terrace offers a calm view. Will recommend to my friends.

Amazing boutique hotel with very nice rooms. Our room had everything we needed including a nice exposed brick wall. The rooftop patio was a great way to spend some free time.
