Le 253 was a pleasant surprise! Everything was better than expected: cozy place, capricious room and more than delicious breakfast (served for all guests at the same table). Michel and Mario are two gentlemen that will give you tips and hints about Quebec City and even fix the wifi connection, if necessary. I couldn't imagine my first stay in a bed and breakfast would be so good! :)

I loved staying at this place! The hosts were super accomodating and extremely friendly. Upon arriving, he offered us drinks, as the room wasn't quite finished yet. He also chatted a bit with us and gave us recommendations, as to were to eat, if we didn't have a plan yet. Breakfast the next day was also really extraordinary and really delicious. I'd definitely stay there again!

I stayed with my dad at this hotel in 2018 July and every time we go on vacation he mentions this place. The hosts were nice to us and offered us a beer and we enjoyed it on the balcony outside. They also helped us with parking. The breakfast was very well prepared and tasty and it’s definitely a great start for your day. Anyone giving less than 5 stars for this place is a mean person. Period.

I can't say enough good things about this place. So clean, so beautiful, so comfortable and the host are the best. I have stayed in many Airbnb and hotels but so far this one is the best one. I was a female solo traveler and felt so safe. It's a home away from home. They will treat you like King and Queen. I highly recommend this place. Honestly come to Quebec City just to have the experience of living in this place. Oh and the breakfast, I have never had such amazing breakfast. You can see they use quality ingredients. Just book this place, it's worth every penny. Can't wait to come back here again.

My mom & I stayed at Le 253 for 8 days in June of 2016 and even though it's been 4 years my 88 year old mom still raves about how excellent our whole time in Quebec City was because of what excellent hosts they were. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Their location in the city was perfect, the breakfasts amazing. You will not find more charming and accommodating hosts. Good advice on things to see & do, plus what restaurants go to.

Mario and Michel are very welcoming and warm hosts. Their breakfast must be the talk of the town and certainly set you up for the day (delicious). They gave us great advice on things to do, places to eat etc which saved us valuable time. The offer of a lift anywhere was taken up on a very wet morning plus to the train station when we were leaving. Can't praise them both enough. You made our holiday in Quebec fantastic. Many thanks once again.

Our stay was fantastic! The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The common spaces were extremely inviting. The operators were fantastic hosts, both lovely people and full of good advice on touring the city. And to top it all, the breakfast was just fantastic. Definitely will come back!

Michel and Mario are wonderful hosts and made me feel right at home. Their breakfasts are delicious, their rooms are clean and well outfitted, and they are always willing to give help or advice however they can. The next time I’m in Québec I’ll be sure to stay there again. Thanks!

This B&B place has probably the best hospitality in the whole Quebec city. The hosts will offer you what ever you need to relax after busy tourist day. This place has also cozy terrace, living room and delicious breakfast to start your day!

Very well maintained establishment, excellent staff, excellent food

This place offers an amazing breakfast very close to the city centre. Great and super friendly hosts. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a really nice time, the hosts were very hospitable and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, we slept very well, but the bed and floors were squeaky haha. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. There were wine glasses in the room ;) the breakfast was amazing!! 😍 Would return. Very affordable for what we get. It's a 20 min walk to Carnaval festivities, and 30 min walk to old Quebec town.

Had a very nice stay at Couette et Café Le 253. Michel and Mario made u feel welcome and there breakfast were amazing. Parking a bit of a problem but dealt with. Two 👍 up.

I was only here for one night and had to leave before breakfast, but I will definitely be back. The hosts have made this such a cozy place to stay! They welcomed me with a glass of wine and suggestions on where to go for dinner, but I was tempted to just stay in my room or on the back deck because it was so comfortable there.
