Excellent coffee! Quick and kind service. Fair prices. We got coffee here two days in a row. We tried their lattes, macchiato and cappuccino and all were incredible. Espresso was 🤌 and the barista knows what they are doing. We purchased beans to bring home with us and they gave us a cute little tote! Highly recommend this place if you’re into great coffee! They also have a nice sitting area outside - shady in the morning. A good selection of highly rated home coffee making items as well.

Super busy in the morning but only 2 workers - 1 taking orders and 1 making drinks, the cashier helped when possible but drinks took quite long. I ordered a cappuccino which was delicious, but it wasn’t really a cappuccino, it was more like a latte. Not the best in Québec in my opinion, but a lovely choice if you’re in the area. Curious to try the beans but had no space in my carry on to bring it home (sad face).

Incredible selection of light roast coffee. Great hospitality, and dialed in coffee. Can’t go wrong!

Third wave coffee at its best for Quebec City. No doubt people running this place have a lot to say about coffee. And if you like brewing your own coffee at home, the bean selection - roasted on site- could make your head spin. It is a 5-star if you’re an espresso drinker but 3-star if you like it with steamed milk the reasons being that 1) they are using the cheapest brand of milk you can find in the market - how sad. It’s like pouring gravy out of a tin on a prime Argentinian beef (no, no, no please don’t do this) and 2) it is steamed too hot to enjoy the natural sweetness milk can bring to a cup of coffee.

Amazing cafe in Quebec City serving the best coffee I had during my two weeks in Quebec. Service was fantastic (as is generally the case in Quebec City) and the pastries were also fantastic. I would readily recommend this place to anyone staying in Montcalm and surrounds.

This is my favorite coffee shop and roaster in all of Canada. The best thing to come out of the pandemic was they started offering shipping around the country and i can finally enjoy the best brew at home.

Very friendly staff and delicious latte. They also have various coffee beans on display, and you can just pick some and have beans grind on site. There are a few areas to sit indoor, and it’s easy to find plug-in. Great place for coffee, work and chat.

We came here 6yrs ago and the coffee continues to amaze! This slow drip iced coffee was very cool. Roasting right in the store in front of you. Bought some Costa Rican beans to take home too.

The waiter at the front was so friendly. The cafe is tastefully designed. I ordered a latte with almond milk and it tasted good. My favourite part was my cup had hand drawn flowers on it which was a sweet touch. I would like to return and try some more options!

The best cafe in Quebec city. They have medium roasted beans here with a variety of blend and single origin coffee. I tried an espresso and a V60 and they were both really good. Highly recommend!

Dropped in during Quebec City trip. Nice shop, lots to offer. In addition to getting your caffeine fix (multiple options), there's some accessories available and of course coffee beans. Very reasonable prices too and friendly service. I picked up their monthly special (a Costa Rican) to bring home and it is wonderful. Wish I had gotten more. Will drop in next trip for sure.

I can't comment on the food/cookies. The coffee selection is large and the staff have a good know-how on where the coffee has been harvested and how they have been processed. I believe they have direct contact to some of the plantations in Costa Rica and are directly involved in parts of the process. They are very helpful with any questions you may have in regards to the different coffee beans they sell and take their time. The atmosphere is cozy. Recommend to come here!

I felt a little silly seeking out coffee in Quebec to bring back as a souvenir, because it's not like coffee grows in Canada! But I'm so glad I did! We just brewed our first pot of the cantook coffee and WOW. For the first time in my life I actually drank black coffee and enjoyed it. It is so smooth and delicious, very noticeable difference from the coffee I buy at the grocery store!

The double espresso I had here was maybe the best I’ve ever had! Perfect amount of bitterness and perfect brewing temp. Outdoor patio was a bonus

Visiting a coffee roaster while visiting old Quebec! The coffee was nicely made for both the flat white and the pourover! Especially the pourover, it’s so intense with the floral/fruity flavour but yet without much of bitterness which is a nice balanced cup of coffee. I ended up buy a bag of the same bean so I can make one at home too… also the baristar is willing to share a few pointers so I can try to repeat the same cup at home!! Thank you ! 🙏🙏 Definitely will visit again before i leave old Quebec!! This place should be worthwhile if u like coffee!

This is the best place for coffee lovers! Even just drip coffee was really good. If you’re picky person about coffee, you should come here.

Have returned, Would Recommend. Best coffee in Quebec city. Specifically made the time to return during a 2 day weekend trip. Consistency is what turns good into great. Great Latte, foam is perfect, temperature immediately drinkable (perfect). Water is filtered. Price is cheaper than average too. Beans are affordable and service is prompt and quick. Usually lots of people hanging outside. Takes AMEX

I visit this cafe every time I come to Quebec City. I don’t know why they ripped all the personality from the shop? But they did for a coat of boring plain beige pinky paint. All the personality and charm ripped out with one stroke of a brush. Coffee is still amazing as always.

If you love coffee and want a serious treat, get thee to Cantook. Walk a few minutes from the tourist center to Rue Saint-Jean and have a coffee chat and a cup that will delight you. I had a pour over of a fermented coffee from Costa Rico. It was delicious and super unique. The best part was the engagement from the baristas who were friendly and happy to go deep on the choices. Pick up some fresh roasted beans while you are there.

So, so good! I tried a latte and a flat white (sugar is self-serve). The price is very cheap, the staff are lovely and most importantly, the coffee is delicious and smooth! Limited seating, and one thing to note is that the coffee roaster at the back is SUPER loud and goes off every few minutes. I wonder if it can be fixed. At least you know the coffee is fresh. I'll definitely be back on my next Quebec City visit. No pastries/food to eat as of now, they are completely focused on the perfect espresso.

Lovely coffee shop that we visited on our way out of Quebec city. The folks here love to chat java and, as coffee lovers, we were very pleased with their passionate, friendly and inviting demeanour in picking our beans to take home. Their to go coffee is delish as well. Hope to find you there on our next trip!

This place has become one of my favourite spots to get some fresh ground coffee beans. Very nice coffee selection, and was never disappointed with the varieties I’ve tried so far. I definitely recommend!

Amazing coffee, amazing service. Spoke to the barista about which beans to buy, and he took us through each one carefully explaining not only the flavour notes, but the preferred brew method of each. Tried what was on drip, and the flavour was incredibly fruity without being harshly acidic. Expertly steamed milk for my flat white, my only regret is not getting an espresso after the fact.

Amazing experience I had in this shop. The crew is very friendly with great expertise and pride. And the coffee here is a blast, please do try out the new victoria project coffees 😀

Super cool spot, came here for a latte glacé which was great. Definitely recommend for someone interested in grabbing coffee to go or wanting to purchase beans.
