This
is
by
far
the
worst
gym
I
have
ever
attended.
Please
find
below
details
of
why
you
should
be
cautious
about
joining
World
Gym.
Reason
1:
Customer
Service
is
awful.
Cancelling
is
a
mess
and
it
will
cost
you.
I
joined
this
gym
largely
because
I
needed
a
gym
in
that
area
that
had
a
subscription
with
cancellation
possibilities
as
I
knew
I
was
moving
out
of
province
soon.
Thus
I
purchased
their
"flexible"
option
which
is
already
more
expensive
to
account
for
the
cancellation
possibility.
At
the
time
of
purchase
I
was
told
I
had
to
cancel
the
membership
30
days
in
advance
of
the
time
when
I
no
longer
needed
the
membership.
Thus,
1
week
ago
I
put
in
my
cancellation
notice
(to
ensure
it
got
cancelled
for
when
I
move)
where
the
customer
service
front
desk
informed
me
I
would
receive
a
call
within
10
business
days
to
discuss
the
cancellation
details.
Today
I
attend
the
gym
and
I
am
unable
to
access
because
my
membership
had
been
cancelled.
This
was
surprising
to
me
since
I
just
recently
got
charged
on
my
credit
card
for
the
month
of
August
(I
was
charged
on
August
15th)
so
I
should
have
access
the
gym
for
at
least
the
remainder
of
the
month
or
in
the
case
of
most
gyms,
until
the
day
before
the
next
fee
charge
(so
September
15th).
This
is
a
complete
rip
off
to
cut
off
people's
access
to
a
gym
before
they
have
reached
the
end
of
their
payment
period.
I
have
never
had
a
problem
with
this
at
any
other
gym
I've
attended
for
shorter
period
of
times
(Maxi
Fitness,
YMCA,
Goodlife).
I
also
never
received
a
call,
at
which
point
the
customer
service
desk
did
not
believe
me
and
assumed
"they
must
have
left
a
voicemail".
They
did
not.
So
be
cautious
of
any
of
the
the
instructions
they
give
you
at
all
points
of
your
interactions
with
customer
service
since
it
appears
that
you
cannot
trust
anything
they
tell
you.
And
most
importantly,
their
misinformation
will
cost
you
$.
2.
Pool
Access:
if
you
plan
to
use
the
pool,
be
prepared
for
the
pool
to
be
consistently
randomly
closed
with
no
explanation.
Another
reason
I
joined
this
gym
was
because
they
had
a
pool.
If
you
get
their
VIP
membership
(which
is
also
included
in
the
flexible
option
and
will
cost
you
more)
you
get
access
to
their
spa
and
their
pool.
Originally
I
was
very
happy
with
this
option
because
I
would
go
swim
my
laps
and
it
was
pretty
empty
which
is
not
a
given
at
most
other
pools
I've
attended.
However,
what
I
was
not
prepared
for
was
the
number
of
times
I
would
show
up
during
times
when
the
schedule
says
the
pool
was
open
and
it
was
randomly
closed.
I
have
gone
on
5
different
occasions
during
a
2
month
period
since
the
beginning
of
July
and
I
was
unable
to
access
the
pool
during
scheduled
pool
access
times
with
no
explanation.
If
World
Gym
chooses
to
charge
people
an
extra
fee
to
access
the
pool
then
it
is
not
acceptable
for
a
service
people
pay
for
to
be
consistently
unavailable.
3.
The
equipment
is
old
and
lots
of
equipment
is
broken.
COVID-19
cleanliness
is
questionable.
Though
not
the
biggest
issue
if
you
go
at
less
busy
times
of
day
it
adds
to
a
possibly
negative
experience.
This
is
the
first
gym
I
have
ever
had
problems
with
to
this
extent.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
good
gym
in
QC
(though
it
doesn't
have
a
pool),
I
had
a
great
experience
with
customer
service
at
Maxi-Forme
Fitness
Gym
in
Downtown
QC.
