Another really nice area in Old Quebec to take a stroll with many stores, patios and restaurants in the area that you can visit for a quick coffee and snack or drink and sit down meal.

The ice was so crisp and clean, we got on after the zambony passed, they even have adult aides to help you skate, bathroom are free for the public inside the skate rental, sharpening is also available, we paid 8$. Skaes to rent is 10$. Lockers are 2$ to rent, but we just left our bag and boots under the benches. The rink is small but it's all you need to get some nice picks and enjoy the experience.

July 2021 a nice place to hang out, chill and relax. The area always changes with different things and hosts different events. A nice place that's always evolving. Center of the city, lots of parking nearby.

Beautiful and alive place for people to ensure him the wonders of winter in Quebec. The staff takes good care of the ice and most of the people that gather to enjoy it, either tourists or locals, are usually in the best of moods and having the greatest times.

In the winter skating here is a must. Try to avoid Saturdays though. Too crowded. You can rent skis. The locker rooms are clean and heated. The restrooms nice and clean. French music is guaranteed.

Brilliant walk through Rue St Jean to the city walls and gate. This area is 'outside the walls'. There are entrance of shops, coffee shops and bistros as the road continues out of the city centre. Some churches of interest. The walk from the main city area is worthwhile.

Entering into Quebec history through the strong defence gates brings the visitor into a world of the past. Hint: there are public toilets on the right side just before you enter. Look for a bunker like building with a beautiful iron gate with naked ladies on the handles!

Very nice ice skating rink, people working there are helpful and the ice is mostly smooth and clean as they do it every 2 hours more or less I recommend definitely! I've been there maybe 10 times this winter only

Super fun place to ice skate. Great atmosphere, little Christmas market, friendly people. Beautiful to be right near the old city wall and fancy buildings with lights.

Absolutely lovely public square. There's frequently live music, an ice skating rink, and two of the most beautiful buildings in Quebec just across the way with a hotel and some upscale restaurants. There's also some little huts with souvenir shops, art, and musicians.

Not much parking around. You need to get paid private parkings. It is close to the walls of the city. Nice to go there at night as it is more lively.

Before to arrive Maurice's park, it's a good idea to stop at this place with a nice view of St Maurice river and creative original sculptures from local people of St Jean des piles. I loved it 😍

Watched some skateboarders here while on vacation. I love that police don't care that the kids are skating there. Lots of benches and a beautiful background

great place to hang out next to the walls of the citadel. during the evening skateboarders will ply their trade while onlooker sit at one of the many park benches or on top of the historic military walls. the benches all face toward a huge concrete slab which serves as an ice rink during winter and all kinds of different events that periodically happen here, throughout spring summer and fall.

It is always crowded. As the entrance of a tourism heart of Quebec city, personally I don't think they should place the bus terminal here. Maybe just 1/2 bus pass this place will be great. They could have use this place in a better way. It has many events and attractions during summer, including the summer music festival or film festival. In winter it turned into an ice skating arena. It is also a popular spot for photography.

I went there with some friends to visit the Christmas market. We tried the hot wine which was delicious specially in such a weather. There was also the skating place outdoors that was maintenained properly. It is a must place to visit during Christmas 🎄. Advice: Make sure you have a good winter jacket, hat, scarf and gloves because it can get cold.
