😠 I wouldn't recommend this place for sushi. The sushi rice had too much vinegar and the fish didn't taste like anything.. I paid for the All You Can Eat, but ended up only ordering once as I started feeling sick due to the overpowering taste of vinegar. The waiter was friendly, but I won't go back as... Just flew in from Toronto and this was my first meal. Absolutely amazing experience. Not only did it taste fantastic but the service was so sweet and friendly. Tonight the chef, I believe his name is Paul, demonstrated such a mastery over the creation of each roll it makes the previous sushi restaurants I've been to in Toronto pale in comparison. The flavors of each item together uniquely complimented each other. From the texture of the fish, to the slight spice and kicks, mixed in with a savory tang. 10/10 I'm going to miss this place when I leave Quebec.

The location, decoration and staff was good. Only thing that keep me from 5 starts is freshness of the food. We do like the option that the river part have no menu. You can order anything you would like to (same with some restaurant in Japan) Street parking available

We have been in Japan for four times and we eat many conveyer belt sushi there. So when we knew of the river boats at Nicky's we definitely had to try the experience. We went for dinner, it was a very busy evening. After sitting down, most of the boats were empty. I think we waited 30 to 40 minutes before their ace chef returned to prepare sushi for the boats. Once the chef started preparing sushi, food keep coming on a regular basis. I think prices for plates are a bit overpriced. Sushi was good although. The next time we will try their menu options, what I saw in the tables looked very good.

Positives : the decor was nice. The service was pleasant. Negatives : 1. We wanted to go for the sushi train but arrived 15 min too late to join the train. Fair enough, we did not know there was a fixed start time. Be sure to arrive on time if you want to do the train. 2. The other patrons were very rowdy & screaming. I was expecting a somewhat calmer atmosphere. It felt more like a drinking spot than a restaurant. 3. Most importantly (sadly) the food was not good. The maki roll with brie was probably the worst sushi I've had in my life. The roll with chicken salad was a strange combo. The more traditional rolls were ok but there was too much vinegar in the rice. And there were not many traditional rolls to pick from on the menu. Considering the quality, everything was quite pricey. I would avoid this place unless you really want to try a sushi train restaurant (even though we didn't get to have the experience).

Verrry good all you can eat sushi and Asian fusion cuisine. Small cosy intimate place. The food is delicious. Must try when in Quebec City 👌

I really loved this format of sushi delivery! Since we went on a Monday, not high season, instead of being charged different prices per plate they had a special of all-you-can-eat for $35/person. The sushi river was a great way to take a look at the different offerings and decide what looked tempting, but also a great way to pace out the meal - because everything was coming around multiple times, you didn't feel like you had to make a pile up in front of you. Definitely recommend the apple beignets for dessert, they were delicious! (Four small balls on a plate - we shared between three of us because we were WELL fed on sushi)

The miso soup (appetizer) was surprisingly delicious. The sushi rolls were also pretty tasty except the portions were too small, only 4 pieces per roll. A little pricey. I went back the next day and got a miso soup to go, unfortunately it wasn’t nearly as good as the first time. The quality was pretty bad this time, because there was barely anything inside of the soup. What a disappointment.

Great place for an all-you-can-eat sushi dinner, the creations of the chef are amazing and the food is fresh. Is a bit pricey at night on the weekends, so I would recommend going in the afternoon for the lunch menu or during the week at night (which is cheaper) if you don't want to spend 35$ per person, but I would definite suggest you to go, because is the best sushi I ate in Quebec.

The service was fine but the sushi was not. Way too much rice and not enough substance. The fried dishes were cold. For the price I expected much better quality. $100 down the drain

We went for the all you can eat menu. The food didn’t taste good, service was extremely slow dispute the place being almost empty. Way too expensive for the low quality that is being served.

Very disappointing. It took over 50 minutes to get our food despite the restaurant being less than a quarter full. The sushis themselves were bland and not very interesting (also the rice was too warm for sushi which warmed up the fish too much). The price was way more expensive than the quality warrants.

Nice and cozy vibe. We got a table and ordered extra food 5min before closing. The food was delivered quick and the service is nice. Certainly meets the expectation for a touristy city restaurant. Recommend if you visit.

If I could give it 0 star, I would. I live in Vancouver BC and know what is good sushi and what is not. Everything was wrong about it, even the miso soup.

The worst sushi experience ever. Low quality of the sushi: unseasoned poor quality rice which is not even sushi rice(very generous on the rice though). The fried items were cold. We weren’t even expecting an authentic sushi experience, but this is beyond our lowest expectations. 50$ wasted

The WORST SUSHI EVER came here on a whim and ordered two specials. Fish was old and tasted nasty!! Random pieces of fruit? Gross? Barely any fish and just all cucumber and avocado rolls for $50!! The most disgusting sushi I’ve ever had in my life! Avoid at all costs waste of money I ended up throwing it all out!

Best sushi place in QC city! Amazing staff, great ambiance!

The food was very well presented and tasted great. However, my satisfaction wasn't proportional to the price of the sushi. I did enjoy being able to eat with the whole garage door open so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. I was disappointed that the sushi river option wasn't available available until later at night..

Great experience! Sit at the bar and Choose from a variety of sushi that passes by you on floating boats.

Tremendous food. Despite its grandiose sized portions of sushi, the quality was above and beyond sublime. Fall off the rice Butterfish, well-smoked themselves Smoked Salmon sushi, tender meats. Quite the exquisite meal. Will be returning next trip to Quebec City as it was the highlight of my trip!!
