Unassuming place but the smoked meat is tops! I lived in Montreal for 5 years and went to the classic smoked meat shops, Dunn's, Schwartz, Lester's, Snowdon... This place is definitely in that category. Also, you have to have the maple syrup pie.

One of my favorite places ever! Their smoked meat is extremely flavorful and tasty. I have tried most things on their menu, including the sandwiches, the poutine and the salads, all are great. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Also, staff are extremely friendly!!

I’m glad I went to this place with my family as they speak fluent French. I can only speak English. Fortunately the waitress understood I wasn’t able to speak the language and she personally helped. I ordered the smoked meat plate with the poutine and must say the smoked meat was really delicious. The poutine was more like a 4 out of 5. Otherwise, overall I must say phenomenal job 👍

Only got take out, but the atmosphere was awesome. The food was fantastic, and the ladies were quick and very friendly.

Big enough portion, friendly waitress who was happy to speak English with us. Very tasty food and a nice little dining area.

I got the all dressed plate and swapped out for the poutine. Food was great and the place really feels like an authentic local restaurant. Atmosphere was very cute. Our server was friendly and bilingual, which was nice because my French is not very strong. They have menus in English as well. My partner got the soup and really enjoyed it too. They were very accommodating and the prices were more than reasonable. We got an all dressed plate (with poutine), soup, and extra sandwich and the bill only came to 37. We were very happy here and would recommend.

Very friendly staff, fast service and affordable prices. They bring you 2 types of mustard: regular and dijon for your sandwich. A 6oz sandwich is a bit small imo, I would recommend taking the 8oz for a regular appetite. You get to choose your meat preferences: lean, medium or fatty. The desserts were good. You can have a bit of cream served with the pouding chomeur if you wish.

This place is located in the outskirt of quebec city. When we arrived, we were the only non-quebecois, it seems to be frequented by locals only so being able to communicate in french is kind crucial here. You can find street parking in one of the back street. But be careful as street are very narrow. The smoke meat itself was not bad but also not the greatest. May visit again if in QC as there are not many other choices for smoke meat in QC.

Great small and casual place with insanely good smoked meat! That maple sugar pie is worth every penny!

Great place to munch on some authentic smoked meat. It's been over ten years since I've had smoked meat (that being at Schwartz's), and this reminded me of why smoked meat is so good. The sandwich, though small, is piled with a mountain of mouthwatering meat that will actually satisfy. I loved the chips and pickle wedges as well. I also loved the coleslaw, since it wasn't mayo based and had a lovely vinegary taste. It's not quite as good as Schwartz's, but it's still worthy of five stars. It's also nice of them to offer English menus.

Absolutely no question stellar smoked meat. Would return in a heartbeat.🙂 Regarding the argument that it is too fatty, they ask you if you want lean, medium or fatty. I went for medium and it was perfect. As for the argument it's expensive, all I can say is quality smoked meat is expensive and for this level of quality the price ($9.95 for a 6oz sandwich) is warranted. I had high expectations and this establishment DID NOT disappoint.

Probably the best smoked meat restaurant in Quebec City, but way below Schwartz in Montreal. Great beer selection.

One of the best places of Quebec city.. if you want to enjoy a very tasty and traditional smoked meat you must stop here... I will come back for sure...
